For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Skip this product. I’ve had 2 vaginal yeast infections before from taking antibiotics, and AZO Yeast Plus has always worked for me. Well, my pharmacy was out, and they didn’t have Monistat, so I grabbed Tioconazole 1 Day. I did my nightly routine, and right before bed, I inserted the medication (around 10:30 pm). Instantly, I felt burning that wasn’t there before. I brushed it off and went to bed. I woke up at 3:03 am with the worst pain in and out of my vagina. It felt like a shard of glass was stuck in my vagina, preventing me from sitting up correctly. I went to the bathroom after forcing myself up, and I felt okay to lay back down. I woke up this morning at 7 am, and my vagina is literally swollen. This was my first time ever using this product, but I will never buy it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! Although if you are reading this, I suspect you already have and are now currently experiencing the raging fire from hell in your vagina, accompanied by the painful swelling replicated only by pushing a tiny human out of your vagina. I bought the Monistat brand at full price, so I wasn’t going for the cheap stuff. I didn’t look up reviews first because who would think such a volatile product would exist? I inserted the medication at 11 pm, within minutes I felt the burning, but I left it in and took some sleeping medication, hoping to wake with a bit less discomfort than I’d had the last few days. I WAS SO WRONG! Seriously, I had a child WRECK my vagina during birth, and this pain and swelling are comparable to that. All I can say is that the medication dang well better work because I’m currently sitting in a bath of baking soda and had to cancel all plans for today. RUN. If you were smart enough to look up reviews first."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you’re like me and used this product before reading the reviews, just know, you may also like to ready an ice pack and an anti-inflammatory of some kind! I’m about 6 hours in and I’m pretty sure there is a tiny flamethrower inside the applicator. I read the instructions and it clearly states that remaining product can be applied to the outer parts, but unless you’re into pain, don’t do that. My lady bits started throbbing from the pain and now they have been renamed my no-no place!! It’s swollen and itchy and 12x worse than when I began this horrid road to recovery. I have faith in my who-ha that she will bounce back, but of all the beatings she’s taken over the years, this one’s got to be the worst few hours in her history."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Inserted this just before bed last night, and when I woke up, my vagina was swollen up to twice its normal size - it literally looked and felt similar to the way it did when I gave birth to my daughter! I could barely walk or stand, and I actually have little red raw spots that I am now convinced are little burns. I used hydrocortisone to combat the horrible symptoms Tioconazole gave me, but I am still feeling really awful. I will NEVER buy this ever again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you’re reading this, chances are you're already having an adverse reaction to this medication. I inserted it at 9 pm and woke up at 2 am with intense pain, swelling, and itching. I didn’t see any comments with advice on managing this, so I thought I would post what I did. I took a dose of Benadryl, ibuprofen, and put a pillow between my legs to keep them apart. By 9 am, the pain was gone, and I believe my yeast infection symptoms went with it. So in the end, I guess it worked, but it was so not worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Soooo, one day I happened to get a yeast infection and decided to go to Dollar General and try the brand “Tioconazole” because that was the only brand they had, and I usually get clotrimazole. Anyways, on the box it says it's best to insert it right before bed, and that is what I did. I woke up around 2 am to a swollen, burning sensation. I ran to the bathroom (mind you, I could barely walk, it was so uncomfortable) only to find out my vagina was swollen shut! Please do not use this product! It's best to use clotrimazole! I regret not going to an actual pharmacy. Never again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Today I noticed some creamy discharge with white specs that appeared yeasty to me by the eye. So I bought this 1-day tioconazole. Shortly after, literally maybe 5-10 minutes after insertion, I felt some itching and a warmer feeling inside my vagina. THEN and only then did I read the reviews. Everyone is saying they have lots of burning, itching, and swollen lady parts. I really hope that doesn’t happen to me, seeing as though I wasn’t all the way sure of the symptom I noticed earlier in the day. Not sure if I should go push this medication out over the toilet like everyone says. But I am afraid I’ll wake up with a swollen vagina like the others. I’ll update soon..."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I applied it around 1 am, and although I hadn’t experienced any burning before, I immediately felt sharp and severe burning for around 15 minutes. I awoke at 5:30 to a toned-down burning and enormous labia, painfully swollen, 4x their normal size. I’m going to wait it out and hopefully not go to the doctor/ER, but I may have to if the swelling doesn’t go down. I can’t even walk normally. This is an awful product, and I would not take it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, as the others, I tried the 1-day Tioconazole, and my goodness! Why did I do that? My vagina is swollen, itchy, and pain, pain, and more pain! I was not prepared for this. Right now, I am currently laying in bed with my legs up in the air."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, I was kind of skeptical about using the product because of some of the bad reviews. I decided to give it a try anyway, and I did not experience any of those symptoms. I inserted it last night after showering. No burning, no swelling, and barely itching. I woke up the next morning, and still no bad symptoms. Everything is coming out just fine to me. I use the off-brand kind too, by the way."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Worst thing I ever used in my life. DO NOT USE. I’ve always done the 3-day. Never this. Didn’t read reviews and SO wish I did. I had some white clumpy discharge and very mild itching. So wanted to just knock it out and got this. Worst mistake of my life. I had some burning, nothing too crazy, then some itching, really irritating more than even before. Then I woke up and my vagina is swollen and just blah. So horrible. And it had to be because of this. Because it was not swollen, itching, or burning prior. I’m so mad I did this. Save yourself, ladies. Please don’t use."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased the Rite Aid brand 1-day Tioconazole after the Diflucan treatment failed. I'm so glad I did. The day after I applied the medicine, I only experienced a little bit of swelling and burning, which was totally tolerable. After 2 days, the itching had stopped, and all symptoms were gone after 3 days. This will be my go-to OTC med from now on if I ever need to use it again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. I tried going the cheaper route. Definitely regretting it now. I used it Thursday night. By Friday morning, my vag was swollen two times its size. More cream cheese-like discharge than before. Smells super potent. Made me feel 100 times worse. I went to the ER. They told me to wait the 7 days and try Monistat next time. YOU WILL REGRET BUYING THIS. SAVE YOUR MONEY."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Used Tuesday night, thinking everything would be okay, and by Wednesday morning my vagina had blown up like a hot air balloon. I had a CRAZY reaction to this cream. I can’t even walk correctly due to my vagina being SO very swollen. Please ask your doctor before using this or just don’t use it at all. I bought the Dollar General 1-day treatment, and I regret it so much. This was a horrible and uncomfortable experience for me. I ended up going to urgent care, and the doctor cleaned as much of the cream out as she could. PLEASE, guys, don’t use this. Don’t use any off-brand yeast infection medicine."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased my Tioconazole 1 Day, and after inserting the cream, I did feel some mild itching and burning, but for me, it was tolerable. The next day, I woke up, and the itching had decreased, and so had the pain, but I did experience some swelling, but also tolerable. Although the cream has to be pretty strong since it's a 1-day application, the instructions advise waiting at most 7 days for all symptoms to clear, so I have 5 more days to hopefully be yeast infection-free. Overall, I did not experience the extreme negative effects as others and would buy again (if my funds are low and I have a yeast infection)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! About 30 seconds after inserting the Tioconazole gel, it felt like fire and crazy itching, followed by so much painful swelling. I ended up in the bathtub at 4 a.m., begging for relief. Four hours after my bath, I'm still in pain, swollen, and wondering how I'm going to get through my day when walking is almost impossible! They should not be selling this product!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF SENSITIVE VAGINA!! I noticed more people liked it with positive results, it really depends on if you have a sensitive vagina or not. I used this product and immediately felt burning. My mom said since you have a YI it’s normal, it’s working, but no, I was having irritation to the product, and I didn’t know this because this was my first time using it. Woke up, I thought my vagina was tighter, but no, it was swollen, very swollen. I read the results, and I noticed I’m not the only one. I’m gonna try to wait it out to see if the swelling goes down before I go to the doctor, but if you're aware that you have a sensitive vagina, please do not use."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I used this product last night, and I experienced some itching and burning, but nothing too bad. I woke up this morning, and again the burning was there, but still not too bad. I have experienced some major swelling on and around the vaginal area. I’m hoping in a few days it will subside and my yeast infection will be gone."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the generic Monistat 1 (tioconazole), and for the first few hours, it was great-no burning, and I fell asleep quickly. A few hours later, I woke up absolutely dying. It burned so much, and my vulvar lips were so swollen (HUGE!), so red and visibly irritated. I had to use an ice pack to help decrease some of the pain. I left the ointment in because I figured I already suffered this much, I might as well let it do its job. By the time I woke up, though, the swelling had gone down considerably, no more burning, and my yeast infection felt 90% better (I'm still using the topical miconazole from a previous package to help with the mild residual itch). So even though it's a few hours of literal torture and you will lose sleep, it did work well."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "In the past, I did home care (no sugar/low carb, probiotics, eating garlic, etc., because it’s free), but I thought I’d catch this early. Twenty-four hours in, I have mild burning but less itching. Brief sinus headache, went away quickly. After a few hours, I was surprised at how sensitive my labia felt. I went to the bathroom and saw my inner labia more swollen than ever! If I’d started having worse-looking discharge/swelling, I’d go to urgency. Today is still swollen but no agony, milder yeast symptoms, no discharge. Hope I’m in the clear, will update if it takes a turn. My “new friend” picked this up, I forgot to specify the dose. Nothing stronger than 3 in the future. I might just try more home care. Even if this works, because of the swelling, I won’t be having sex any faster than if I’d starved the yeast out on my own. Sorry to everyone this drug harmed! I don’t know how long the swelling will take, good luck, folks."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This stuff is horrible. I was looking for Monistat, but unfortunately, the store had run out. I got this instead, inserted the medication into my vagina, and laid down. I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible itching and burning. I ignored it the best I could and went back to bed after it eased a little. I just woke up, and the opening and surrounding area to my vagina is swollen sooooooo bad. I sat up and could literally just feel how swollen it was. I had el hubby check everything out down there. He said it is swollen really bad. The worst part, and I have never had an STD, still don’t as I have only been with the same partner for three years. My vagina literally smells like... chemical? Chemical burn maybe! I’m not sure. It smells like someone dumped a bottle of chemicals into my vagina. It most definitely isn’t any kind of 'natural smell.' This smell literally just smells like straight-up chemicals! Do not use this product!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I usually use the Monistat 3-day ovules and experience fast, painless relief. One time, when I didn’t feel like doing all that for 3 days straight, I tried the Monistat 1-day ovule (miconazole 1200 mg), and OH MY GOD. NO. Swollen, swollen, swollen to the point where I could barely walk. So this time around, and after some research, I decided to use the other antifungal, Tioconazole! I was nervous to do the 1-day, but I noticed the dosage was mild, which to me meant different ingredients, same result with less drama. AMEN. I’ve been feeling a tingling/burning sensation inside my vagina, but it’s nothing unbearable. Like on a scale of 1-10 for discomfort, 1. I showered with just hot water before inserting the medicine, and I have on panties with a liner. So far, it’s been about 2 hours, and all is good."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this cream, and let me tell you, WORST DECISION I’VE MADE! I inserted the applicator, and no less than 30 minutes in, it felt like the medication only fueled the yeast infection. My lady parts were swollen and itching worse than it was before I even used the product. Monistat is waaaaaay better, in my opinion. This product just didn’t do it for me at all. It may affect someone else totally opposite of my experience, but I would never use it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Should've read the comments first. They had it at the local grocery store. Should've gone out of my way and gone to the pharmacy. So much itching after I put the stuff in. Then when I woke up, the outside of my vagina was swollen and very tender. Don't buy this. Monistat works way better."
