For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! Although if you are reading this, I suspect you already have and are now currently experiencing the raging fire from hell in your vagina, accompanied by the painful swelling replicated only by pushing a tiny human out of your vagina. I bought the Monistat brand at full price, so I wasn’t going for the cheap stuff. I didn’t look up reviews first because who would think such a volatile product would exist? I inserted the medication at 11 pm, within minutes I felt the burning, but I left it in and took some sleeping medication, hoping to wake with a bit less discomfort than I’d had the last few days. I WAS SO WRONG! Seriously, I had a child WRECK my vagina during birth, and this pain and swelling are comparable to that. All I can say is that the medication dang well better work because I’m currently sitting in a bath of baking soda and had to cancel all plans for today. RUN. If you were smart enough to look up reviews first."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you’re like me and used this product before reading the reviews, just know, you may also like to ready an ice pack and an anti-inflammatory of some kind! I’m about 6 hours in and I’m pretty sure there is a tiny flamethrower inside the applicator. I read the instructions and it clearly states that remaining product can be applied to the outer parts, but unless you’re into pain, don’t do that. My lady bits started throbbing from the pain and now they have been renamed my no-no place!! It’s swollen and itchy and 12x worse than when I began this horrid road to recovery. I have faith in my who-ha that she will bounce back, but of all the beatings she’s taken over the years, this one’s got to be the worst few hours in her history."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you’re reading this, chances are you're already having an adverse reaction to this medication. I inserted it at 9 pm and woke up at 2 am with intense pain, swelling, and itching. I didn’t see any comments with advice on managing this, so I thought I would post what I did. I took a dose of Benadryl, ibuprofen, and put a pillow between my legs to keep them apart. By 9 am, the pain was gone, and I believe my yeast infection symptoms went with it. So in the end, I guess it worked, but it was so not worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I do NOT recommend. I wish I would have read reviews beforehand. I’m highly upset I wasted time on this product. I didn’t experience any burning or extreme itching when I put it in, but I did wake up to a severely swollen vagina, and now it hurts to do anything. I’m so uncomfortable and can hardly sit down. I regret trying this and not just sticking with the Monistat 1."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, as the others, I tried the 1-day Tioconazole, and my goodness! Why did I do that? My vagina is swollen, itchy, and pain, pain, and more pain! I was not prepared for this. Right now, I am currently laying in bed with my legs up in the air."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So, like everyone else, I didn’t read the reviews. I inserted the medication and realized I had more itching than before, I also noticed the burning a lot more. To make matters worse, I used the cream for the external area, and I think I made it worse!!! I was trying to save a few dollars, never again. The pain isn’t the worst, but the itching is absolutely horrible."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased this Tioconazole 1 Day product on a Tuesday, and just like the others, my vagina swelled shut. I was in terrible pain. I’m on Jardiance, so YI are common, and normally I’d take Diflucan or I would use Monistat 7, and in a day or so I’m good. However, using this product is a different story. Here it is Friday, and I’m still itching and in pain. This product is not worth the $10 I paid. I highly recommend that this product be avoided at all costs. It was not effective and caused me pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! About 30 seconds after inserting the Tioconazole gel, it felt like fire and crazy itching, followed by so much painful swelling. I ended up in the bathtub at 4 a.m., begging for relief. Four hours after my bath, I'm still in pain, swollen, and wondering how I'm going to get through my day when walking is almost impossible! They should not be selling this product!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don't ever use this product. I only had it for 10 minutes inside me. The cream made me burn as if I was on fire, then itch so much it made me cry. I was in so much pain I couldn't stop moving off the bed with the pain I had. I went to the bathroom to wash it out. I will never, ever use this again - it burnt me so much I still have some pain, and I am using ice resting there to make it numb. This is not a good product. It just makes it worse. What is it? I still can't believe how bad the pain is. So please don't buy."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I had come to this comment session before using it. Applied the cream in my playground around 10 pm and fell asleep, so far so good. Woke up at 4 A.M. to pee, and my whole vulva was red, swollen, and sensitive to touch. I had never felt anything like it, even wiping after peeing was painful. The small lips were so swollen that they were hard, stiff (not to mention the size). Now it's 10 A.M., and it still feels horrible, I can barely walk, have to sit with legs spread, peeing is a sacrifice. Seriously, don't buy this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is the second time I've used this drug for a vaginal yeast infection. The first time I had intense burning and itching following insertion, but it only lasted about 20 minutes. This time, though... it's been an hour and a half... I'm writhing in pain. The burning and itching are unbearable. I typically handle pain well, but this is just outrageous. The next yeast infection will be treated with the antifungal pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Experienced burning and redness as a result of this medication. I don't understand why/how products like this that burn and irritate the user are over the counter yet Diflucan (fluconazole), which is an oral yeast infection medicine with no side effects, is prescription only. It is completely backward and makes women suffer and experience more discomfort and pain versus a painless pill. It's been 4 days since I took this medicine and I'm still feeling raw and uncomfortable."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Works great for a 1-day treatment for me. I had severe pain with Monistat 1, less with Monistat 3, and zero pain with Monistat 7, which I prefer because it’s not an ointment, but you have to apply for 7 days. The only downside to Tioconazole 1 for me is that it’s an ointment that feels greasy, and the feeling lingers a bit for a couple of days after."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never again. Do not use this stuff. It's terrible. I had a horrible reaction to it. I woke up with a very sore and swollen vagina. I couldn't even walk or sit down without it hurting. Plus, it didn't even treat my yeast infection. In fact, my infection is worse. Spend the extra money and get Monistat."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Oh my God. I had mild itching at best, so I thought I would get ahead and take this medicine. I should have grabbed Monistat. I put this in around midnight, woke up to some soreness and burning around 2 am. It is now 11:11 am the next day, and my labia have swollen to 4x their normal size! They hurt so damn bad I can barely walk. I had to cancel all my plans today, soak in a baking soda bath, and now I am laying down, legs spread eagle, praying this absolute throbbing swelling burning pain goes away before work tomorrow. This is a horrifying, miserable experience. Please, for the love of God, do not use this product!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was prescribed antibiotics by my doctor, which caused a yeast infection. My doctor told me that since I was pregnant, I could not use the normal oral prescription he usually prescribes and that it had to be over the counter. I bought the Tioconazole-1 and inserted it around 9 pm before I went to bed. I woke up at 3 am in the morning with a terrible burning sensation. I got up to use the bathroom and could barely walk from the pain/swelling in my vagina. I took a warm bath, tried to remove any medication, and lay with an ice pack between my legs until 6:30 am. The swelling did go down some, but the pain is still there. I will never use this medication again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm writing this a full 24 hours after using the drug. Yeast infections are very common for me. I was about three days into it and then I tried this drug. Expect a full 12 hours of extreme discomfort (yes, pain). I inserted at 10:30 at night Saturday. Immediately, I didn't feel much, but after laying in bed for about 10 minutes, my kitty was throbbing and burning. I wasn't too startled because this happened with drugs I had previously used. I think this YI is just extra bad. At 4 a.m., I woke and had to sit and nurse my baby. The pain was worse than postpartum. My kitty was swollen, throbbing, and burning. I spent an hour doing research to see if I was having an allergic reaction. Turns out this is the norm. I went back to bed thinking if it was still bad, I'd go to the hospital in the morning. I took the pressure off with a pillow between my legs! By 9, it wasn't throbbing. By 12, it was just sore. It's 10:30 p.m. now and I haven't had any itching, but it's sore and feels very raw. Honestly, not worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "One of the worst feelings I've ever experienced. Less than 10 minutes after application, my vagina felt like flames may be shooting out of it. Itching, burning, pain... for an hour. I need to pee, but I'm terrified to after reading others' reviews of how painful that was after using this. The pain is beginning to subside... maybe it's going away or maybe I just found a body position to make it less miserable. I'm scared to move and find out. Not at all worth it... I felt better before!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've taken this before, but for some reason this time I'm in pain. Burning is unbearable. I showered, inserted the oval, woke up 3 hours later in so much discomfort. I have never experienced this. Maybe a bad batch has gotten out, but this pain is just too much for me. Never, ever, never again. I'm not sexually active either, so I know it's just a YI, but I felt better before, way better."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Excellent product. For those who say it burns, you’re allergic. I personally experience the uncontrollable burning and pain with regular Monistat (miconazole) and found out I’m allergic. This is the only kind that doesn’t burn and works perfectly fine for me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Skip this product. I’ve had 2 vaginal yeast infections before from taking antibiotics, and AZO Yeast Plus has always worked for me. Well, my pharmacy was out, and they didn’t have Monistat, so I grabbed Tioconazole 1 Day. I did my nightly routine, and right before bed, I inserted the medication (around 10:30 pm). Instantly, I felt burning that wasn’t there before. I brushed it off and went to bed. I woke up at 3:03 am with the worst pain in and out of my vagina. It felt like a shard of glass was stuck in my vagina, preventing me from sitting up correctly. I went to the bathroom after forcing myself up, and I felt okay to lay back down. I woke up this morning at 7 am, and my vagina is literally swollen. This was my first time ever using this product, but I will never buy it again."
