For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "BP and blood glucose levels are the lowest they have been in a decade while taking 0.25 mg weekly for a month. However, abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, reflux, and loss of energy have been persistent and, at times, debilitating since starting on the drug. Additionally, heart rate is running 15-20 bpm higher constantly. Not sure the gains outweigh the loss of quality of life."

For Type 2 Diabetes "My side effects were bad burping and gas, extreme abdominal pain radiating into my back, headaches, extreme fatigue, and more. Three trips to the ER, one MRI, one ultrasound, and three CT scans, and the consistent diagnosis was 'everything looks perfect.' Very disappointed that an ER, GP, endocrinologist, and GI specialist all did not seem to recognize these drug side effects. I see the endocrinologist today and will discuss, looking for better options. I have had a horrible nine months. Very disappointed in both our healthcare chemists and industry in general."
