For Type 2 Diabetes "Been on this for 5 weeks now. Levels are finally starting to stabilize, and I feel more like a human. The nausea has been horrendous, the weight is falling off, 10 lbs so far. Can't overeat or the nausea gets worse, and I throw up. Abdominal cramps were bad week 2 & 3 but are less frequent and not bad too often. Constipation has been hard for sure, I have to take something to help me go. Just increased from .25 to .50 five days ago, and the nausea is hitting me more frequently again. Tums, a fan on near my face, and nausea suckers are so helpful. The side effects can be pretty severe, but I gotta keep trying to push past it. Good luck if you take this."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Don’t try it!!!! Should be taken off the market. I lost 6 pounds in a week, but the nausea and abdominal cramping along with severe constipation aren’t worth it. I wish I wouldn’t have ever tried it. I was supposed to take my 2nd dosage on Saturday, but I didn’t-still feeling sick after I eat. I hope I get better soon. Worst decision ever. Once again, don’t try it!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started taking Ozempic in October 2022 for weight loss. Started with 0.5 mg for one month and then increased it to 1 mg. For the first few months, the only side effects were constipation and loss of appetite. However, after a couple of months, I started getting abdominal pains in the upper right quadrant that extended to my back, between my shoulders. The pains would manifest a day or two after the shots and last several hours. It was worse during standing or walking and not a problem when sitting. At the same time, the effectiveness of the drug for weight loss was reduced, and I stopped losing weight. With the combination of the side effects and the lack of weight loss, I started reducing the dosage. I went from 1 mg to 0.75 to 0.5 mg. The side effects continued but were reduced in intensity and duration. Eventually, I stopped taking Ozempic in April 2023. After two weeks without the drug, the abdominal pain is almost gone. Total weight loss was 50 lbs."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I started taking Ozempic last October. I started on 0.25 and had mild digestive issues. Constipation was the worst. Then my dose was increased to 0.5, and my abdominal pain was unbearable. Switched back to 0.25 and still had problems with the lower dose. Read online about injecting in the thigh instead of the stomach and feel much better. Continuing on 0.25 with only mild discomfort. I won’t inject in my stomach anymore!"

For Type 2 Diabetes "I started Ozempic at the end of March 2023 for overall better A1C control, weight loss, and reduction in cardiovascular risk. Started at 0.25 mg for the first week and increased to 0.5 mg since. For the first month, I had strong nausea, lightheadedness, and significant constipation with abdominal discomfort. I also felt very tired all day, which I found was due to not eating enough carbs daily, as Ozempic tends to significantly reduce the appetite. I stuck with it, and after one month at 0.5 mg, the only remaining issue is constipation, which I try to manage through over-the-counter laxatives and prescription medication once a day. Over two months, I lost 25 pounds (235 lbs down to 210 lbs)! My daily fasting blood sugar results are down 20-25 points from before starting Ozempic (A1C to be tested in one more month) and managing my energy level by ensuring enough carb and protein intake. So far, so good!"

For Type 2 Diabetes "Been on it for 9 months, off metformin now and lost 30 lbs. A1C from 9.1 to 5.5. Still have nausea, abdominal pain, weakness, constipation, dyspepsia with the injection. I have these for 2-3 days after the injection. It did its job but not sure I can do it long term."

For Type 2 Diabetes "This drug is helpful in maintaining a good blood glucose level. It has helped in lowering my overall weight, which was not working before by diet. At this time, I am on a 1 mg injection, but I feel I am having reactions of nausea, dizziness, bloating, burping, some abdominal pain, and constipation."
