For Psoriasis "I started Skyrizi in May 2022 after my skin doctor had me try a number of drugs, including Enstilar. Enstilar was effective at first, but the psoriasis spread to my arms and legs so much we tried other creams and Otezla. After two weeks of starting Skyrizi, my psoriasis started to improve on my legs and arms. I have taken Skyrizi in August, November, and January. My skin doctor said I should keep using it because if I stop, the psoriasis might get worse. I am now in the second year of Skyrizi, and my psoriasis is 95% gone! Trying to research the issue of continued use after a full year or four doses."

For Psoriasis "I have guttate psoriasis, about 70% of my body is covered. I just started Skyrizi and got both the starter injections in my stomach at the doctor's office. I have noticed some burning when I pee, some tiredness, flushing. I know my body has to get used to this medication. I’m glad I have some time off work for my body to adjust to this Skyrizi. The patches on my arms and legs are starting to dissipate after only 4 days."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Skyrizi keeps my 'P' in check. It is wonderful to only inject once every 12 weeks. I think it's important to share our side effects as well. I suddenly developed neuropathy in my toes after starting Skyrizi. It occurs only when I walk and gets progressively worse the longer I walk. As soon as I sit down, the numbness goes away. I have to weigh this permanent disability of not being able to walk like I used to with clear skin. I'll take the clear skin."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Wonder drug for me so far, been on it for about 3 months all active patches gone. Was extremely hesitant to touch systemics to the point my skin was horrendous. Only hyperpigmentation left behind now, hopefully that clears soon and the effects last. Haven't been ill, haven't had a single noticeable side effect."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have currently taken three shots of Skyrizi prior to taking Skyrizi. I was on acitretin for about a year, to me, it seemed to have dried out all of my body parts, and at 41 years old, I was scared that I was basically ruined for the rest of my life. The dermatologist introduced me to Skyrizi as it helped my life tremendously."

For Psoriasis "I’ve had psoriasis since I was 8 years old and have done every topical recommendation under the sun. I was on Otezla for a few years. Initially, it worked well, but I had a lot of side effects, and then it stopped working at all. I started Skyrizi a year ago and cannot be happier. My scalp is clear for the first time in 24 years, and all the visual plaques on my skin have resolved. I had no side effects from starting it, but have gotten two UTIs (which I have never had before) since being on it."

For Psoriasis "I had psoriasis for 22 years. I am 70 years old, 80% covered. Tried all sorts of remedies, from natural to modern. Treatment was comfortable using UV light for over 15 years until I had my first COVID injection in 2020. Psoriasis went crazy for 2 years, no matter what I did. Psoriasis would flare more and more until my dermatologist recommended trying Skyrizi. The best. I did. Within a week, it cleared up my skin. No itchy skin, no lesions. Skin cleared. Much happier. Only side effects experienced for nine months since I had it: flu-like symptoms, flare-up of hives, nothing severe. I can live with that. I recommend it to all people suffering from psoriasis."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I was about 40% covered with plaque. My onset occurred in 2018, and just kept taking new territory. I tried every topical OTC concoction that came to my attention. When I finally talked to a dermatologist, I was hopeful when she said she wanted to prescribe a biologic that I had already developed a good impression of, Skyrizi. I took the first of two introductory doses a few days before Christmas. By New Year's Day, I already noticed a slight lessening in the continuous sloughing off of dead skin. By the time I took the second intro dose near the end of January, I noticed a definite improvement in all my symptoms. The scales stopped falling altogether, and the itch was mostly gone. I had my 12th week injection recently, and my results have been completely astonishing! I was hoping so much that this would work, and it did! Finally, my suffering is behind me. I've had no side effects that I can definitely associate with this medication. Some mucous overproduction, but who knows?"

For Plaque Psoriasis "After being covered by psoriasis head to toe and trying all kinds of PO treatments and laser therapy, etc., my dermatologist finally told me about Skyrizi, a biologic that I would have to inject every 3 months. Within 2 weeks of my first injection, I was 100% free of psoriasis. Till today (9/12/24), I'm still in remission! I have been using this biologic for 4 years, and I couldn't be happier. I honestly sometimes forget I have this autoimmune disease. The only side effect that could or could not be linked to this medication is my immunity when it comes to COVID. My body's ability to fight this respiratory infection struggles, and I wonder if it's due to taking Skyrizi. My doctor just orders antivirals when I do test positive for Covid, and I recover really quickly that way. I 10000% would recommend Skyrizi if you are struggling with psoriasis. Don't give up, give this medication a try! Seriously."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I had a diagnosis of plaque psoriasis that nothing seemed to help, that my dermatologist gave me, so they decided to try SKYRIZI. Three weeks after my first injection, I ended up with joint pain in my hands, ankles, knees, and neck. After my second injection shortly thereafter, my itching on my scalp and around my ears started to go away, shortly thereafter, all my joint pain went away. I’ve been on SKYRIZI for this entire year, and I have been cleared of all my scalp psoriasis in and out of my ears, and my joint pain is gone. I self-inject in the privacy of my home, which is very simple and easy to do, but I must thank AbbVie from the bottom of my heart because you really gave me my life back. Thank you again."

For Psoriasis "I had psoriasis over most of my body. Flaking scales (especially my scalp) were making me not want to go out. Skyrizi has been life-changing for me! Two and a half years using it and my skin is absolutely clear. I haven't noticed any side effects and feel very healthy."

For Psoriasis "I have been taking Skyrizi 150 for over a year. I have psoriatic arthritis; my skin cleared up within 1 month or 2. My joint pain also subsided for the initial year. I have recently started having issues with increased joint pain, especially in the hand and elbow area. I will bring it up to my dermatologist next visit."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I was taking Humira. However, it was not working as well as it had been, so my doctor switched me over to Skyrizi. I just did start my Skyrizi; so far, it has been different from the Humira in that it is a larger dosage, but otherwise, it has not worked for me as quickly as the Humira did. Unfortunately, I have still had worsening psoriatic arthritis pain."

"I started Skyrizi in 2020. I have inverse psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and HD. My inverse was so severe the impact on my life was devastating. Within months, my inverse was almost completely gone with very minor flares. My PSA greatly reduced, and I have not had a single lesion from HD. After 2 years on Skyrizi, I finally was able to see a rheumatoid arthritis specialist to treat my PSA. They added sulfasalazine to my treatment. I was completely cured of all 3. Due to insurance battles, I had to go without my injection for 6 months, and all my symptoms returned. I'm a 100% service-connected disabled veteran, and the VA refused to cover Skyrizi despite being unable to take methotrexate. I have had zero side effects. Zero increase in respiratory infections. In fact, despite multiple intimate contacts with individuals with active COVID, I did not get COVID. I used to get pneumonia annually, but since starting Skyrizi, I have not gotten pneumonia. It is a miracle cure for me."

For Plaque Psoriasis "This has been a godsend for my husband, who developed type 2 diabetes, and with it came plaque psoriasis from head to foot. It affected his self-esteem, stopped him from going out socializing, and he started to become depressed. Our doctor sent him to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough in the UK to see a dermatologist, who, after countless creams, light treatments, and tablets, offered him Skyrizi. It has cleared his psoriasis up completely. He has been on it a year now, and the change in his mental health is phenomenal. He has it every 3 months, 4 times a year. The only side effect is that 2 days after he has had the injection, he gets flu-like symptoms, which clear up within a week. So, if you get the chance, Skyrizi is the answer, it’s a game changer."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Skyrizi has changed my life. I was 80 percent covered in psoriasis. I had tried everything. I had flakes everywhere. Even on my hands and my face. I was depressed beyond belief. All my free time went into researching how to stop psoriasis. Nothing worked. Until Skyrizi. I am 100 percent clear today. And I haven't thought about my flakes in years."

For Psoriasis "This drug, after close to 18 months or more, made no difference in low back guttate psoriasis dermatitis, which appeared as an allergic reaction after bad food and another drug. I've been given many drugs in the same class: Enbrel, Humira, Skyrizi, Otezla, Consentyx. They're all equally ineffective and only made my skin hurt. The dermatitis the MD was at war with was not my normal immune system overreacting. No, the allergic reaction was to another drug or a bacteria in food. The only thing that puts the low back dermatitis closest to getting guttate psoriasis calm down is two weeks of water fasting and avoiding the other mess provoking the breakout."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have just taken my first 3-month maintenance dose. I have finally gotten ahead of the lesions on my scalp, back, and feet. The left foot is worse. I have tried everything from steroid creams and a scalp liquid that made my hair stuck to my head worse than the psoriasis, which was like concrete. I tried Otezla, which helped but not enough to now, with many lesions or plaques gone, I am finally in remission."
