For Ulcerative Colitis "I’ve had ulcerative colitis my whole life and was on mesalamine until it stopped working in 2024. I was nervous to try Velsipity since it’s new and has some scary side effects, but I started it in January 2025 and it’s been amazing so far. I feel so much better now, aside from the usual ulcerative colitis symptoms like bloating and a sensitive stomach with most foods. I hate needles and was worried about how infusions might make me feel, so this pill fits perfectly into my daily routine. When I first started taking Velsipity, I felt dizzy, had low blood pressure, and was nauseous. Those side effects went away after a few weeks. I do still get dizzy sometimes at the gym or when I stand up too quickly, but it doesn’t bother me much. For reference, I’m a 23-year-old female with a very active lifestyle. This medication has made a huge difference for me."
