"I'm on day 5 with this pill and I've gotten joint pain and pain in my ribs to a point where I don't want to eat. The pain is that bad. I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia as well as gastritis. I've always had a bad back but it's more radiating in my ribs and that's never happened before. Also, I sometimes get headaches, which again, I am prone to them but not this frequently. I also noticed that my anxiety is worse. I notice that when I don't take it, I don't feel very well as well."

"I got very lucky with this drug. Luckily I was given two kinds -- one caused a dopamine block so I decided to stay with this one. It literally saved my life. I was so sick last fall, I was throwing up constantly to the point of bleeding out. I kept getting the run-around at hospitals and clinics. It was traumatic. My mother lost it showing them how much blood and (TMI) puke I brought up in the clinic. I was sent for several scans, IVs, and tests. I was given this med after. I can hold food down, no more pain, no more nausea. I was scared it was making me gain weight, but it's not listed in the side effects. I just gained by being able to eat. I have relatives on this med, and they said how much better they're doing. I suggest being careful with high-fat foods still to make this really beneficial. I got diagnosed with ulcers too. Life-saving med!"

"Started taking pantoprazole 10 days ago. Dizzy spells, drowsy, and not sure if it helps with acid. Will wait another few days."

"Horrible experience. Over a month later, I have spinning, dizziness, fatigue. It did the job, or is still doing the job, and I'm still sick. Don't recommend."
