For Chronic Pain "I recently injured myself again. I cannot tell you how much the product quality has dropped across the board for every single one of these pain relievers. Oxycodone in particular, there has not been a single brand that touches any of the old brand in terms of pain control, relief, and duration. It is horrible. Sometimes I can barely get out of bed and have to rely on this pathetic excuse of an opioid. The pain relievers of today last an hour at most and would hardly give a small child a 'buzz'. Tris, Mallinckrodt, Rhodes, and even KVK have all substantially dropped their quality and it is time something is done. The FDA/DEA cannot keep turning a blind eye to the whole situation. I don't know if they are intentionally trying to get everyone (even if they are legitimate pain sufferers) to resort to the black market. But everyone: REPORT THIS TO EVERYONE POSSIBLE!"

For Chronic Pain "Rhodes Pharmacy RP10 oxycodone is the worst generic ever made, pushed by the VA in Phoenix. This horrible medicine doesn't work at all and causes back pain, alters mood, and causes sinus problems, keeps you up, causes irritability. If the VA gives you this medicine, run - it will destroy your life, and the VA tries to make you look as though it’s your fault that you are in pain. I was told that I’m going to be the only person that has complained, making me look like I’m mental. There are plenty of negative reviews on this medicine. Only the best for the cannon fodder. Good luck fellows."

For Pain "I take the oxycodone 10/325. Recently, all pharmacies in my area changed to Rhodes brand. It's garbage. Either it does not have the right amount of medicine or the strength is incorrect. I never have a single issue with any other brand. I get withdrawal symptoms, my legs jump, and it keeps me from sleeping because it does not manage the pain as it should. If you try to split the pills, they crumble. Does no one oversee these pharmaceutical companies?"

For Pain "VA is now prescribing oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharma to its chronic pain patients. This stuff is pure garbage. IT DOES NOT WORK!!! I went through withdrawal and was sick for a week as soon as they switched me to this. I, like countless other reviewers, now live with increased pain, nausea, upset stomach, and depression. My life has been turned upside down. This is how the government treats its vets. It's DISGRACEFUL! My only hope is that enough people will come forward and expose this fake garbage they are giving us."

For Chronic Pain "Been on 10 mg KVK brand 3X daily for 12 years, as well as 30mg MS Contin 3X daily for over 30 years. The VA has changed me to the Rhodes brand this month. Will see if there is a difference. Been hearing bad things about the Rhodes brand in my chronic pain patient online groups. I feel strongly that the DEA is forcing the pharmaceutical companies to cut the active ingredient in all opioid pain relievers since the phony opioid crisis started in 2016, along with the ridiculous CDC opioid prescribing guidelines. I don't see how these doctors, DOJ, DEA people can look themselves in the mirror. The pure torture that chronic pain patients have been forced to endure is evil! And karma is a bitch, and those responsible for this torture will get theirs one day. I bet that they and their loved ones get proper pain control. We have a heroin and illicit fentanyl crisis!! Not an opioid crisis. Other than those that need it are in crisis!"

For Chronic Pain "RHODES OXYCODONE 30MG ARE A BUST!!! What is this rubbish?? I've been on pain meds for about 10 years, once before got rubbish brand Aurobindo oxycodone. I always make sure I don't get those but now RHODES brand is rubbish too!! I feel like my head is buzzing, feeling fuzzy, my ears are ringing, and my tongue feels numb. Pain seems controlled so far, but whatever fillers are in here are bad!! Now a second brand to avoid!! Hoping to make it through the month without any worse side effects. These are absolute garbage.. does the FDA even pay attention to what these manufacturers are putting out there??? I took them a few months back, didn't really have any issues that I recall. This time around I feel horrible!! I can't afford to miss work because I feel like rubbish, so this junk I'm taking better get me through. Bottom line RHODES brand oxycodone is pure rubbish!! Avoid it at all costs"

"I've been on oxycodone for 25 years for hypermobile type Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). I have seen it go downhill in quality ever since they discontinued Activis oxycodone. I've resorted to KVK Tech as an alternative, but it doesn't work as well as the Activis did. Activis was acquired by another company, and ever since, it has eliminated the production of oxycodone IR. Rhodes, Malenrodt, Purdue Pharma, and all the rest of the companies that produce oxycodone have limited the number of active ingredients, and you can tell when you take it that it's not working like it used to. McKesson, one of the distributors of pharmaceuticals, is out of KVK Tech, which is what I usually take. So my pharmacist filled a partial prescription with KVK Tech and the rest with Rhodes. Rhodes doesn't work at all. After being on this medication for over 2 1/2 decades, I know when something works and when it doesn't. I will be calling my congressman and my mayor to see what I can do, as suggested by another reviewer."

For Chronic Pain "Bottom-line & synopsis: **''RHODES PHARMACEUTICALS oxycodone and possible other medications DO NOT RELIEVE PAIN!*** HOW THEY PASSED THE FDA IS BEYOND ME, AND I'M HAPPY TO READ ALL THESE COMMENTS. I ONLY READ A FEW, BUT WE ARE ALL SAYING THE SAME EXACT THING! Even if I don't get in on a lawsuit, I hope somebody brings them to their knees -& shuts this company DOWN! I've been taking Rhodes Pharmaceuticals oxycodone anywhere from 2 to 6 months, but I've been taking oxycodone off and on for more than 20 years. So, I consider myself someone who knows the difference when medication is not effective at all"

For Chronic Pain "I have been taking oxycodone for 5 years. I usually receive the small green 15 mg pills, which always worked well. I changed my doctor to the VA. I was given 15 mg oxycodone made by Rhodes. I really think this company's pills should be tested, they do nothing for pain whatsoever, or if there is any pain reliever at all in these pills. I have a drug test coming up in a couple of days, it should be very interesting to see if there is any opiate in these pills."

For Chronic Pain "My pharmacy also switched to Rhodes oxycodone. I had taken the same dosage for years, with excellent pain relief. Then after the brand switch, I couldn’t understand why I was constantly sick with no pain relief and developed rashes all over, also severe headaches. I was never told anything about taking it with fatty foods. That’s completely absurd! I, too, cannot eat when I’m in pain. Rhodes Pharmaceutical should be out of business-absolutely no pain relief and terrible side effects. I guess us legitimate pain sufferers, who never abuse or sell our pain medicine, need to start using heroin to get help with pain relief, as the government seems to think they deserve a “GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE,” but we don’t. It’s so frustrating and infuriating!"

For Pain "I normally take oxycodone 10 mg. After hip surgery, I needed a stay at in-house rehab facility. I was prescribed oxycodone 10 mg. I noticed immediately this medication was not working at all. The manufacturer was different and was by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. These facilities have contracts to use only this manufacturer. I have reported to management I am receiving no relief from this drug. Any input on who this should be reported to would be helpful. There are long-term nursing home patients here that I hear complain that pain meds are giving no relief. I have experienced this firsthand. I am fortunate enough to be able to speak out and go home in a month. I hate that elderly people living here are suffering."

For Chronic Pain "I am legally disabled! I've been going to the same pharmacy for years and always get the Actavis 30-milligram oxycodone. And then about 3 weeks ago, they gave me the white Rhodes brand. No pain relief at all, got me nauseous and felt like I was going to throw up, and constant headaches. Thank goodness I only got a seven-day supply. So now I'm going to another pharmacy. The pharmacist is ordering me the 30 mg Mallinckrodt brand. To me, the Mallinckrodt brand is the best one. But my insurance isn't covering them. And I'm paying $105 a week for 35 pills. I don't know what else to do because I can't afford this for much longer! The rating bar I'm putting a 10 because I'm talking about the Mallinckrodt brand."

For Chronic Pain "I've been on Oxycodone for several years for chronic back pain. The ones I recently got from CVS in Niles, OH, made by Rhodes Pharma, is not what it says it is. I'm in severe pain and having withdrawal symptoms for more than a week of using it vs other brands. I am miserable! AVOID this manufacturer. If you Google Rhodes Pharma, you'll see there are others with the same complaint. I'm contacting the FDA, CVS, and Rhodes to file a complaint. Insurance pricing on this cheap drug is $95.00 - $195.00, but I use a coupon and pay $28.00 for 150 tablets."

For Chronic Pain "I really believe that the Rhodes generic of oxycodone does not have any oxycodone in the medication. For 5 years, I was on Oxycodone 10mg KVK generic, no problems. Now I am lying in bed, unable to get up. The only thing that has changed is that the pharmacy changed to Rhodes 10mg. How they are able to get away with this is madness."

The quality of all the brands seems to have gotten worse, but the Rhodes brand is pure trash and always has been! For Chronic Pain "I get prescribed oxycodone (Roxicodone) two 15 mg three times a day. Mallinckrodt was the best I’ve ever had. I was actually getting my life back and accomplishing more. And everybody, including my doctor, pharmacist, parents, coworkers, and friends, were telling me how great I seemed to be doing! Then I was prescribed Rhodes; I honestly didn’t know what was happening. The pharmacist scoffed at me when I told her that it wasn’t working. I went back to my original pharmacy, and they have been riding me. KVK Tech, which has been working well by all means. With no heads up, this month I was prescribed Amneal. Unfortunately, I am experiencing zero pain relief, withdrawal symptoms, diarrhea, yawning. This is absolutely awful; my work sent me home because of how bad it has gotten. Mallinckrodt = 10/10, KVK Tech = 7/10, Amneal = 1/10, Rhodes = 0/10. I’ve heard good things about Alvogen."

For Chronic Pain "I have been on oxycodone for 15 years for back pain, I have rods and screws in my back. My doctor cut me off cold turkey because the DEA raised his family practice. I just had another back surgery and was able to go back on the oxycodone for acute pain only. The pharmacy dispensed me RHODES Pharmaceuticals oxycodone 20 mg tabs, it’s like taking generic Tylenol from Dollar General. So much filler in it and bothers my stomach, I was able to cut the dose in half to 10 mg tabs. I recommend you get the KVK TECH brand as it works. Sad that I had to do that and give up half my pills, but the RHODES is straight garbage. In a couple of weeks, because of this “OPIOID CRISIS,” I can’t because of ADDICTS that have ruined it for chronic pain patients. This government of ours is telling our doctors what they can and can’t do. They don’t have the expertise to treat chronic pain patients! The RHODES PHARMACEUTICAL Oxycodone is straight junk."

For Chronic Pain "I've been prescribed opioids since the diagnosis of a spinal degenerative disorder 4 years ago. I've been prescribed things over the years for injuries and was prescribed Lortab. These were blue or speckled blue and worked well, but what I was prescribed was Norco. They barely worked. So my doctor moved me on to oxycodone after a year on 10 mg Norco. I went to oxycodone 15 mg. These worked much better, and I was satisfied with their performance. The only time I recall ever really having a problem with them is when I received Rhodes Pharmaceutical brand or RP. These had an icky feel to them, and the duration was less than 4 hours. In the past, I received KVK, Mallinckrodt, and Alvogen. To this day, I still feel that Alvogen was the best one in terms of length of duration. With the constant shortages we've come to know with COVID, I'm satisfied that I received KVK monthly from a privately owned pharmacy. There are definitely differences in brands, and doctors generally won't recognize that."

For Chronic Pain "On oxycodone generic Rhodes, pharmacy switched to Rhodes from KVK Tech. Rhodes did nothing. Called my insurance caseworker who made arrangements for an override so ins would cover second script had to take the Rhodes pills in to pain management to be destroyed. New prescription was not phoned in override expired pharmacy that script was called into ran out of KVK now had Rhodes. Total nightmare. Everyone needs to file an FDA complaint. It’s easy to do online from phone. And is only way Rhodes will go away. As they are selling their rubbish oxycodone cheap. Lol."

For Pain "Severe injuries from an old car accident. Over the years, I have tried hydrocodone in various strengths, codeine, you name it. I had to keep increasing the strengths and still found no relief, plus I was taking too much acetaminophen. I asked for oxycodone... and it was a godsend. While it does not completely eliminate all pain, it does work and gives me back a quality of life. The brand is important, though. I have learned to avoid Rhodes, Kvk, and Alvogen. Mallinckrodt 15 milligrams works for me, but I must combine it with my own dose of acetaminophen for the best results. At least I can have control over the amount. I cut a 500 milligram Tylenol in half each time. It's a shame that just mentioning oxycodone is stigmatizing because I would not be able to have a productive life without it. I hope this helps. God bless."

For Chronic Pain "Severe chronic lower back and neck disc herniations and bulges, full S-shape scoliosis, and never-ending spasms spanning my entire back. I’m never not in pain, and the lowest level is a 5 on a 10-scale. Sometimes I’m woken up from sleep from the pain. My doctor has me on only 10 mg oxycodone, but I manage. I guess it’s good to be low. (Idk how everyone gets 30 mg+ on here — maybe because I’m young? Idk..) Anyway, I find the KVK’s (pink K56) are the best brand for 10 mg. Rhodes (white P10) is the worst. Literally no pain relief and instead a ton of stomach issues, which makes me wonder what is in them and what isn't in them. Never again. Another great alternative, if you want Tylenol combined with oxycodone (Percocet), is Endocet (yellow E712) pill. Very effective. Wishing everyone minimal pain in their lives!"

For Chronic Pain "If you're unfortunate enough to be prescribed RHODES PHARMA brand of oxycodone, the only way(s) I've found to make them effective in controlling my pain is either taking them immediately following a high-fat meal to help with absorption. They don't work as well as K9 / 223 / A215 brands do. Everyone needs to report this rubbish Rhodes brand to the FDA immediately and demand a better, more reliable generic from your pharmacies. If enough complaints are issued, they'll stop carrying them! Worst rated generic for oxycodone HCl on the market - even rated worse than Xtampza!"

For Chronic Pain "I have pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS), which causes chronic ongoing pain. This medication, when taken as a brand name, is a lifesaver! And thankfully, most generics are also high quality. Yet after over 10 years of the same dosage, it could not be more blatant and obvious that the large white Rhodes brand has either no active ingredient or it is significantly less than the 12.5 mg that should be in each 15 mg pill! They have almost zero effect on pain. I can compare to other manufacturers I currently have left over from previous years, and the older pills all work as they should. But Rhodes brand does not work - no pain relief! Please advise your pharmacist so they are aware of this issue on a larger scale! It’s amazing that a corporation can get away with this! And this company is owned by the original manufacturer Purdue!"
