For Chronic Pain "Rhodes Pharmaceutical brand of Oxycodone 30 mg is not helping with chronic pain. I’ve taken this medicine for over 10 years and had different manufacturers over the years. I’ve never had bad experiences as I am having after 24 hours of getting them from the pharmacy. Does anyone know what’s happening?"

For Chronic Pain "Been using oxycodone IR for 12 years for chronic pain. Only drug that works for me at a low dose, 10 mg. Last 4 months with Rhodes Pha, the drug does nothing. Call pharmacists this morning, said that's the only brand they can get from the supplier. I could call around to see if another. Ya right. This sucks."

For Chronic Pain "I am a chronic pain sufferer from chronic and recurrent acute pancreatitis, other abdominal issues, and lower back disc issues. I have been on KVK-Tech brand oxycodone for years. This brand works well. This last month, my pharmacy (CVS) filled my prescription with Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. It is awful. I feel like I am on amphetamines or something, and it gives little pain relief. I have found hundreds upon hundreds of reviews for this brand of oxy, saying it causes horrible side effects and no pain relief. One reviewer said he feels like he's on 'meth mixed with poison ivy.' I've reported them to every agency, as have others for years, but nothing is being done! Ironically, KVK, something happened with the FDA and is no longer making oxy. Rhodes makes amphetamines and oxy and two other drugs. No wonder this stuff makes you feel like you are on meth! There is some cross-contamination surely. The FDA isn't doing anything! Every pharmacy in N. Phoenix is now using Rhodes Oxy. We are all screwed."

For Chronic Pain "I was taking 10 mgs of Rhodes brand and voluntarily switched to 5 to try to cut down on meds. I am tired of being treated like a criminal. I would rather be at home suffering than the way I have been treated by Costco pharmacy. The 5's were switched to the KVK tech brand, they are as useless to me as boobs on a bull. Trying to find the Rhodes brand to have a new script sent in was awful, pharmacists calling me all kinds of things. When will people wake up and see that some people have a lifetime of real legit pain from real life."

For Chronic Pain "I've been on 10 mg oxycodone tablets, 4/day from CVS pharmacy by KVK Tech manufacturer for years. It worked well, no side effects. Helps me manage chronic pancreatitis, acute pancreatitis, other abdominal pain, and disc degeneration in my lower back. CVS was out of stock a few months back and had to get it from Walmart. It was a different manufacturer called Rhodes Pharmaceuticals, owned by Purdue Pharma. I noticed there was barely any pain relief and terrible side effects. Blurry vision, anxiety, and feeling like crap. I googled it and saw all of these horrible reviews from people saying the same thing. Then yesterday I picked up my new prescription at CVS and it was Rhodes Pharmaceuticals! Now I'm stuck with this garbage medication for another month. So now I have barely any pain relief, feel awful from the side effects, and I'm livid. How does the DEA not monitor these garbage products? I'm literally in tears writing this. :-("

For Chronic Pain "I started weaning off OxyContin forcefully by my doctor (thyroid cancer, two radical neck dissections), and two weeks prior to that, my pharmacy switched to Rhodes Oxycodone. I was in withdrawals way before tapering my OxyContin. My doctor is blowing me off, and I guess I need to be my own advocate and find a different pharmacy that carries it. Two months now, and I have such miserable joint pain I can barely get to the bathroom in the morning."

For Chronic Pain "Oxycodone by the brand RHODES Pharmacy is God awful- my pharmacy just switched - what can a patient do? It doesn’t treat my pain- I’m severely constipated and nauseous!!! My previous prescription of oxycodone from Amneal Pharmacies was perfect and I had a life- I’m a CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome) patient and live in constant pain, but I had a life with that medication- I’m beside myself -"

For Chronic Pain "My experience with oxycodone brands that work or don't work is: Rhodes 30mg Oxycodone does not work. The Aurolife 15mg does work. The old oxycodone 30mg pills worked for me for 10 years. Good luck getting your doctor to change your prescription. New federal regulations do not allow your doctor to change your treatment in any way without a severe amount of paperwork, and the government does not accept 'This brand doesn't work.'"

For Chronic Pain "What in the world is happening here!!! I’ve been on oxycodone for over 10 years, always had the kvktech until the last few scripts. One was Amneal and another Rhodes. What are in these pills? They are making me sick!! Can’t find a pharmacy near me with the kvktech, and the pharmacists either say they “can’t tell me what brand they have” or they are very reluctant to do so, and they aren’t allowed to order a certain brand. We have no control over our own healthcare choices."

For Chronic Pain "Oxycodone (aka generic Roxicodone) is a wonderful immediate-release pain medication. This is my review on the generics of oxycodone. Unfortunately, potency varies between different immediate-release manufacturers. I am on 15 mg three times a day. Mallinckrodt brand-green, M imprint above the scored line on the tablet and 15 imprint below. Have worked consistently for me for years. The few times my pharmacy had issues ordering Mallinckrodt, they substituted with Rhodes (owned by Purdue), and these did not approach the Mallies in terms of pain relief. Camber was equally disappointing. KVK and Actavis were significantly better, but nothing ever came close to the pain-relieving effectiveness of the Mallinckrodt generics."

For Chronic Pain "These meds just don’t work anymore? I tried every brand, I live in north Louisiana, and I have filed reports with the FDA, MedWatch, and with the Board of Pharmacy here in Louisiana. Everyone should! I used to get the yellow ones last year and they worked well - now I'm lucky if these pharmacies can keep any in stock! CVS is out, Kroger is out, Brookshire's has Rhodes, they don’t work! Told doc and he will not change me, he understood as I am not the only one complaining. Well, so I guess if you are in pain, then you are out of luck."

For Chronic Pain "I have lumbar and sacral issues due to an injury sustained in an auto accident in 2012. I have degenerative disc disease and 3 herniated discs. Oxycodone has made it easier to live a life and keep my dignity, as I was nearly bedridden for a year. I have a P-450 cytochrome issue. I'm currently on OxyContin ER 15 mg twice daily and oxycodone 10 mg three times daily for breakthrough pain. I currently take the KVK Tech brand (they're little pink pills). I've had different generics, and they are not created equal. Amneal, Aurobindo, Camber, Rhodes, Mallinckrodt are complete garbage and have more side effects than you can shake a stick at. My top three are KVK Tech, Qualitest, and Alvogen in that order. I have had radioablation therapy, injections, massages, acupuncture, TENS unit, the whole 9 yards just about. I had a fusion two years ago and don't have the best mobility, but I am able to function and play with my children and go on walks with my wife, and I couldn't ask for anything more."

For Chronic Pain "Was given Rhodes brand oxycodone with Tylenol two months ago. Noticed a difference after my first dose. No good for me. I will change pharmacies and hope my next pharmacy doesn't use the Rhodes brand. I do not know what else to do. I've been on this medication for two years for my osteoporosis arthritis, which is chronic. I hope I can get back on a different drug company ASAP."

For Chronic Pain "The pill from Rhodes does not work as well as the one from KVK Tech. Pain does not go away as quickly or completely and comes back faster. Those of us with Thoracic Surgery Pain Syndrome/Post-Thoracotomy Pain: 'pain after thoracotomy - very severe, probably the most severe pain experienced after surgery' have to fight not only the pain, but pill manufacturers messing with ingredients. For the Big Pharmas to produce/sell them for less money, so pharmacies buy the cheaper pills and mess with the patient (the people who are in constant pain-remember us?!) to save .00001 cent per hundred pills. I am sorry to sound angry-but I AM angry! I was OK with four or five 10 mg pills per day. I could live almost a regular life! Do yoga a couple times a week, clean the house, and perhaps even do a bit of gardening on the same day. Now it hurts to do any activity using my upper body. (RLL removed 12/07, LUL resection in 2/16). I am only 60 years old-I should be able to have a 'normal' life."

For Chronic Pain "KVK Tech oxycodone is absolutely the most horrible generic medication that I have taken, and I've been on oxy for close to 10 years. This rubbish gives me headaches and makes me feel like rubbish. On top of having chronic pain, I now have to deal with this rubbish. I'm getting a new prescription for a better brand named Rhodes that does me well. This medication brand needs to be pulled from the market, and the company should be fined, being they’re already being scrutinized for this low-quality product. REQUEST ANY OTHER BRAND OTHER THAN KVK TECH. You’ll regret it if you don't!"

For Chronic Pain "Rhodes Mfg Oxycodone HCL (IR) 10 mg tablet works so much better than the KVK-Tech 10 mg pink ones. I make CVS special order it for me every month. Sometimes CVS says it didn’t come in, and I have to pick up the pink ones."

For Chronic Pain "I just saw a post similar to mine. I was just switched from my light blue Mallinckrodt 30 mg oxycodone HCl 5x daily to the Rhodes version. Absolutely no problem before, but now I am experiencing moderate pain that goes in a horizontal line across my abdomen. The line is 1.5 inches above the navel. Before this symptom started, I had an irritated region in what seemed like my stomach. Anyone else have this?"

For Chronic Pain "I have been taking 20 mg Oxycodone for years for chronic back pain from failed operations, failed total hip replacement, kidney cancer from Camp Lejeune toxic water, and have been in hemodialysis for almost 4 years, but the 20 mg Oxycodone wasn’t working, so my doctor moved me to 30 mg, which didn’t help my pain, just upset my stomach and made me feel like I’m gonna have a heart attack during dialysis and terrible stomach. These are Rhodes brand, no good. On my bottle, my pharmacy put Oxycodone generic for Roxicodone brand. I think I was supposed to get Roxycodone 30 mg."

For Pain "These white pills with the R/P on one side and 5/325 on the other side made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals made me feel like I was dying. In fact, I wonder if I could die from taking these. I've never had a problem with other pain medications like Percocet or oxycodone. The fillers in this pill are dangerous. I couldn't breathe, and my face and mouth got puffy and weird. I couldn't see straight and felt no pain relief - just terribly sick. These should be illegal. Cancer patient here."

For Chronic Pain "I started taking pain pills in 2014 and had the best results from them. Two years later, something changed. The prior prescription gave me energy and made me feel the best I have ever felt. The oxycodone 15 mg now just makes my head nod, and I feel hungover in the mornings. Whatever they replaced seems to be some sort of sleeping medication. This should be illegal. They are all synthetics now, and I am wondering if they actually have oxycodone in them. I don’t know how they get away with calling them oxycodone. I have tried KVK and the Mallinckrodt 15 mg, the Mallinckrodt worked the best until they changed them. KVK, I would get some pills that did absolutely nothing at all to subdue my pain. Rhodes are big compared to the size of the other brands, which must be mostly fillers that have no effect on pain and hurt your stomach. I think we deserve to know what we are taking, they are not at all oxycodone. There is no such thing anymore."

For Chronic Pain "Got home to find my oxycodone meds were different, manufactured by Rhodes. Been taking same meds 10 years without a hiccup. These weren't working, so I ended up taking more trying to stop pain. I ended up being 4 days short/no meds. I assumed I'd be in bed sick, sweating with withdrawals. However, none of these occurred, meaning that rubbish was bogus or had little to no painkiller in it. Had such a small amount of medicine in it I basically got weaned off it. I've called around and everybody has been switched to meds that don't work. What? They want the doc to put me on oxycontin!"

Oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have been taking pain meds for years due to injury to my spinal column. I see a lot of complaints about Xtampza ER here, and this concerns me. I have taken it for over a year (insurance company issues, like all!) and have had no issues with the difference. I have taken several types of ER through the years without issue. I was just switched to Rhodes on 15 mg breakthrough and am concerned with all the feedback. However, confused, given that the company is owned by the name brand Purdue. Will update in a few weeks with my experience, but please don't avoid Xtampza JUST from these remarks below."

For Chronic Pain "Rhodes Pharmaceuticals generic oxycodone hydrochloride is hit or miss. One month you might get a good prescription, the next month you might get 'duds.' They make me extremely sick and lethargic. I have diarrhea-type bowel movements, zero pain relief. I've filed a report at the FDA MedWatch. It is a shame the sick, the real sick (not toenail pain patients) have to suffer."

For Chronic Pain "I have been on the same medication for a while due to all the injuries I have to my back and other areas. I've been getting the Mallinckrodt 30 mg immediate release oxycodone from the same pharmacy every month, and they work great for me with no problems of any kind. There was an issue at the pharmacy I use this month, so I went somewhere else and ended up with the Rhodes 30 mg oxycodone R P 30 mg, and these are absolutely horrible. This is the second day, and so far, every time I take one of these, I get nauseous and sometimes throw up a couple of hours later. It seems like something is not right about this medication. It's not helping the pain very much, and my body seems to be rejecting them. Not sure what I'm going to do for now, but I will NEVER get these again. Looking forward to next month, so I won't have to suffer anymore."

I'm on pain meds for over a decade, so I do know what I'm talking about. It is just this month's prescription, they gave me a different company."
