For Birth Control "I have been on this due to not being able to take estrogen-based BC. I will give this a pretty positive review with one downside. Positives: Extremely light periods (2-3 days tops of spotting and nothing more) when taken regularly. Lost 10lbs in the first 2 months. No PMS whatsoever. No headaches. It has actually helped them so much because prior, my cycles were so short I was constantly PMSing. Negatives: I have noticed I am a bit more fatigued. I have always been go-go-go but occasionally now I seem to want to nap after work. Breast tenderness is a bit more some months but nothing terrible. If you miss a pill or are late, you will have breakthrough bleeding. It's not much but it can come at any time. My experience in general hasn't been so bad, and I am pretty happy on it."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed Errin as an alternative birth control because of having high blood pressure. The first 3 months were normal with my period lasting about 5-6 days. On the 4th month, I started bleeding profusely! I would bleed through heavy pads in 3 hours. The bleeding was full of huge clots. I lost so much blood that I was pale and required to come into the doctor's office for a checkup. The cramping was unbearable. There is no way this medication is worth the pain and money it costs in feminine products. The birth control works in preventing pregnancy because who would want to have sex with you when you are bleeding through your clothes! Terrible experience."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've been on this for 3 months now, and the first month was fine, but after the first month I have had 4 periods within 5 weeks, and each is 5-6 days. I have a 3-4 day break from bleeding, but then it starts up again. I've never experienced this before taking this birth control, and I'm done taking it."

For Endometriosis "Errin is a medical miracle. I have been off birth control for quite some time and have started this wonderful medication. My sex drive is up, I feel so much energy, I'm excited for my husband to come home. So far, no bleeding or spotting. And I have been urinating like crazy, so it looks like I am dropping a ton of water weight. I'm excited to see what next month holds as far as my period goes. Thank you for whomever made this drug. My husband and I love you."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been on Errin now for almost 3 months. I used to get my period every 20 days, which was too frequent for me, lasted 3-4 days. Now, I am bleeding every day, granted, some days it's just spotting. I am officially quitting today, yesterday, I started bleeding so heavily that I filled my overnight pad in less than an hour, and there was heavy clotted blood. I had never experienced this before. I read about breakthrough bleeding, but I can't anymore. I didn't gain weight, I didn't get acne, and my hair is the same. I am 38 yrs old. Everyone is different, but this is my unpleasant experience."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "So I started to take Errin because this was what was suggested. I regret it so much. I took it every day on time - I had an alarm set so I know it was taken on time religiously. I started to bleed constantly, and it got to the point the clots that started to come out were huge. Like ungodly, my new normal became multiple periods in a month, it sucked. Costing more in hygienic products in a month than I have spent over 3 months without taking it, I shouldn't be going through the big box of tampons in a week. -_- When they normally last me months, granted everyone can experience different things. But this is my experience and why I rated it what I did."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have used other birth control in the past that has regulated my periods like clockwork after one month of use. I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and was told this was one of the only pills that did not have a side effect of higher BP. I gave it 4 consistent months, and after I have experienced epic bleeding, to the point it was like having 2 periods back to back, I decided it wasn't for me."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been on this pill only 24 days, so I am going to give it a chance, but... I am going through perimenopause, so I take the pill for better control of my period. Not for BC, as I am infertile. After 20 days on the pill, I started my period. The first day was minor spotting, it has now been 4 full days of heavy bright red bleeding, with constant clots. Clots when I pee, clots when I wipe, clots on my pads, clots on my tampons. Some are small, like pea size, and some are huge, like quarter size. I am extremely tired, I have no energy, and fear I am becoming anemic. My doc wants me to do a full 3 to 6 month trial with it because it does take time to get the full effect."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My doctor randomly switched me to this birth control. I've been on it for almost three months. I've been heavily bleeding every two weeks, now, I'm bleeding every other week. I'm done, I told my doctor I can't anymore."

For Birth Control "Been on this for 3 months now. Only taking this pill because I am currently breastfeeding and have no other options, really. I've had probably 6-8 periods since I've started this birth control. I'll bleed for 6-9 days, stop for less than a week, and start the process all over again. The bleeding is heavy. I've gained some weight. The acne is terrible and extremely painful. I've developed constant cramping and occasional heart palpitations. Oh, and the hair loss. My god. I have to empty my brush 2-3 times when I brush my hair, and clumps come out in the shower. The worst side effect I have encountered on this pill is the moodiness. I get so angry for absolutely no reason and catch myself freaking out over the littlest things. The side effects of this pill are terrifying. I've been on numerous different pills as well as the depo over the last 11 years, and this is by far the absolute worst. I would never recommend."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was on Errin for two months. I'm in perimenopause, and it was recommended to control some abnormal bleeding. The first month was okay, but I basically bled all of month two, either spotting or very, very heavy. Stopped it a few days ago and still bleeding. I went to the doctor and had an exam - no other physical cause for the heavy bleeding. He agreed I should stop taking it, although he wanted me to try originally for three or four months. I don't see how - this was the worst bleeding ever. I'll take perimenopausal irregularity over this."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this 6 weeks after my daughter was born. I’ve been taking it for 3 months now and am officially stopping this pill. It has made me bleed so irregularly and heavily that it’s unmanageable. It feels like I’m bleeding more so than when I am not. I’m not sure if I am experiencing other symptoms, but I definitely look like I am more bloated, so maybe that’s something I’ve experienced as well and haven’t correlated the two. My primary reason for stopping is the excessive bleeding."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I decided to come back and review this drug as I was on the fence as there were a lot of negative reviews. I have uterine fibroids near the end of 2018, at 40. I had a heavy period that lasted 2 months. I was put on DEPO, and my period stopped that night and for a few months; then I had more breakthrough bleeding. At the 1-year mark, my arm that I used to get the shot in started hurting. I could barely lift it and couldn't sleep on it. I didn't go back; instead, I switched to regular birth control that used to always work (Daysee). The bleeding stopped again until I had a gallbladder attack for the first time. Turns out I had gallstones. After about a year on that, I started having breakthrough bleeding again. I read that the estrogen in the birth control is responsible (among other things), so I switched to this. Almost immediately, the pain has left my gallbladder, and I feel normal again. Two weeks have passed; the breakthrough bleeding has passed. You have to take this at a precise time each day."

For Birth Control "Went to the doc for horrific periods, fatigue, and bleeding through the heaviest available pad within an hour days 2-3 of my seven days. I was a smoker, went with progestin due to the risk of blood clots. I started pills one day after my period ended. So day 26, I started having brown/bloody discharge, not so much spotting, today is day 27, and I have started my period... I think. Again, more of a heavy discharge. The first week, I went absolutely nuts, very angry, sensitive, dizzy or disoriented the first half of the day, and afraid to drive, my depth perception was off. I cried the first two days for no reason. Experimented with times, and I’m not sure if it was just my body acclimating to it or if it was finally finding the right time to take, but it went away. I have since quit smoking, taken vitamins, watched what I eat, and indoor cycling for a half an hour a day. I have lost weight and my mood has stabilized, I even did well during my nicotine withdrawals. It’s worth noting I suffer from anxiety already."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My initial experience was terrible because I would not stop bleeding, and after I could not bear it anymore, I went to the doctor in tears and frustration, and she switched me to Slynd, which is a bit of a higher mg, and the bleeding stopped in about a week. Seems to be going better with the higher dosage of the progestin. Definitely check out Slynd if the bleeding is too persistent on Errin."

For Birth Control "This pill has not been for me. I had a period right before I started taking it, then 2 more times within 3 weeks I had more bleeding. It seems as though other raters on here have also had abnormal bleeding due to this pill. I also have a decreased sex drive and feel bloated almost all of the time. I will be switching soon."

For Birth Control "Been on Errin birth control pill for about 2 months. I ended my normal cycle September 3rd. On September 12th, I started my period again and am still bleeding heavily. I immediately stopped after I began my period within a week of it ending. Drinking a lot of water to try and flush everything out and hoping that this stops soon."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Ok, so after giving birth in 2011 to my last child, I had a tubal ligation done via C-section. Two years after my surgery, I started having problems, so I coped with it for another six years. After that, I could not take it anymore, so I went to see my doctor because I was bleeding for more than 15 days. She administered the Depo shot, and I bled for approximately six and a half months. So, I stopped the Depo, and the doctor gave me a prescription for Errin birth control - worst day in my life. After three months in, I stopped taking the pill. Now, four months later, I’m still bleeding, and there are clots. At this point, I don’t know what to do. This whole ordeal has me super depressed."

For Birth Control "Update from my September post. Okay, I stopped taking it for about a week after my original post because I was so sick of bleeding. After my cycle finally ending, I started taking it again, and I can say there has been noticeable improvement. My cycles come like clockwork now, only once per month."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this pill for 4 days and already want to throw it away. The biggest side effect is the cramps. I've literally had waves of pain through my stomach that feel like contractions since I started this! I feel like I've been in labor every day since I started taking these! Also very nauseous and bleeding heavy! Please, please, please pay attention to the reviews! This stuff is terrible and not worth the pain!"

For Birth Control "I’m fifty, and I took Errin birth control pill for six months and just quit it due to side effects. I lost a lot of hair, which was extremely noticeable. You can now see my scalp through my hair from five feet away. I used to have thick hair, so this really affected me. I also had painful cystic acne around my mouth. I never had acne my entire life. Always had great skin. Now I have scars on my face. Lastly, lengthy, heavy bleeding during my period. It would last ten days and consisted of large clots of blood that would leak out past a tampon. It’s just not worth it. Avoid at all costs."

For Birth Control "I'm at the end of my 2nd month. First month was on the .25 dose. Gained 4-5 pounds in the first 2 weeks! I'm very petite and have been the same weight for 20 years, so this was a huge drawback. My doctor changed me to the .35 dose, and still the same weight but now more pimples and bled for 2 weeks. Also, I think this pill makes me feel kind of blah and empty inside. Could be environmental factors, but I think I'll be switching soon!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this back in July 2019. I had been taking the combination pill form for 6 years, and they switched me to this because I have Factor 5 (a clotting disorder). I liked it at first, no complaints, but now I’m having periods every two weeks and then they stopped. And I got a cold a few days ago and woke up today to heavy bleeding. I’m not sure what to do because I was under the impression I wouldn’t have a period, maybe just some spotting, but not heavy like this. I feel awful, it has completely drained me."

For Birth Control "I'm on month 3, and at first I had no side effects because I had just gotten off the depo shot. But this month I'm having mood swings. My face is breaking out, and I've always had nice, clear skin, and so far I've been bleeding 8 days straight and cramping every day as well, which I've never done! I'm seriously thinking about getting off this pill or taking nothing at all. I'm tired of all these toxins in my body doing me harm!"

Within 2 weeks of being on it, I’ve noticed my hair declining in quality, my appetite is never-ending, and I am bleeding for days on end, and constant breast pain and cramps."
