"I tried Mirtazapine after struggling with depression and more recently (and prominently) anxiety. I've been on it for roughly 1 year. I really can't tell if it's done anything major. I had a few brief moments of contentment, which made me think maybe it was working. But most of the time I don't notice a difference. It has helped me sleep, but only when anxiety/depression isn't hitting super hard."

"This drug really helps with anxiety, but not so much with depression. I want to go off it because I am now binge eating, a problem I never had before. If you suffer from severe anxiety, it may be worth a try. Otherwise, stay away."
