For Urinary Incontinence "48-year-old female with bladder incontinence issues. I took Myrbetriq for around 6 months. During this time, I became sicker and sicker. Headaches, dizziness, muscle aches, fatigue, back pain, heart palpitations, even an emergency room visit, never once making the connection to this drug. I stopped wanting to go to the gym or leave home. I felt so bad. I scheduled a doctor's appointment assuming I probably had some horrible disease. However, when Myrbetriq suddenly stopped helping for the bladder issues, I researched the medicine. My word, I immediately stopped taking Myrbetriq. Within less than a week, I saw an improvement in my overall health. At times in the past, I would laugh at commercials with the long list of 'possible side effects' for certain drugs. I thought it was just a legality. My goodness, these side effects are real and they're horrible. I had rather deal with running to the bathroom all day, every day."

For Urinary Frequency "I have taken this drug for 8 months. I was surprised that it worked right away because I had tried many other things like Ditropan, Uripaz, etc., that did not work. However, the longer I have taken it, the worse I feel from side effects. My hair started to fall out early on, but I didn’t connect it with Myrbetriq until I read these reviews. Slowly, it started to stop working as well. I had a UTI, and now I have a pounding headache, my ears buzz, I am so dizzy I am afraid to take a shower, my nose runs steadily, my eyes burn. I can’t concentrate, maybe because I feel as if my head will explode. I see my doctor tomorrow. Hopefully, she will come up with a good alternative, and I won’t have withdrawal from this med. I would rate it 7/10 for symptom relief but overall 0/10 because of the severe side effects, including palpitations, muscle cramps, itchy skin, skin so dry it flakes off, as well as the other things I mentioned."

For Urinary Incontinence "I was given samples of Myrbetriq. Avoid at all costs! The first night, I experienced side effects of dry mouth, irregular heartbeat, and woke up with a pounding headache. It took 2 days to get out of my system."

For Urinary Frequency "Myrbetriq caused me to have a urinary tract infection. I thought I had the flu; by the time I realized I needed help, I was septic and developed atrial fibrillation. Now I am on blood thinners to avoid a stroke and my OAB is worse than ever, practically ruining my life. I had to leave a family wedding to avoid a major malfunction; it is threatening my employment and my ability to do my job. I am terrified of accidents and must take extra clothes with me, even on a trip to the grocery store. It is embarrassing. My doctor had provided me with free samples and I was taking those when it worked great for about 10 weeks, then stopped working; about 3 weeks later I was hospitalized with the UTI, septicemia, and AFIB with a heart rate of 180 bpm."

For Urinary Incontinence "I’d been taking 15 mg of Oxybutynin for years, it wasn’t the greatest but the best I’d known. Then I learned that Oxybutynin contributed to dementia, so I switched to Myrbetriq 6 months ago. If anything, the overactive bladder (OAB) worsened on Myrbetriq, in addition to heart palpitations. Recently, I purchased a product: “InControl,” which lists horsetail as an active ingredient. Much to my surprise, it works better than any prescription med I’ve tried!"

For Urinary Frequency "My urologist gave me a month's supply of Myrbetriq for urinary frequency and incontinence. I was on it for three days, and I experienced diarrhea during the day and lightheadedness and heart palpitations. The third night, I was awakened in the middle of the night with severe constipation, and when I was in the bathroom, unable to have a bowel movement, I had hot and cold sweats, and upon leaving the bathroom, I fainted. I was totally puzzled as to what had happened until I read the side effects and reviews on this medication. Since I already take two medications, one for high blood pressure and one for heart palpitations, this medication was awful to me. Before I read the reviews, I did call my doctor and talk to the nurse, and she never mentioned that I should be careful taking this medication, but I won’t take it ever again. Thank goodness I didn’t have any hair fall out like some people!!!"

For Urinary Frequency "I took 25 mg for a couple of weeks with no problem, but no noticeable results. My doctor put me on 50 mg Myrbetriq. I slept through the night. That was my first full night's sleep in 2 years. I would wake up almost every hour to visit the bathroom. For 3 days, I was positively in heaven taking 50 mg Myrbetriq, but I was having side effects, each day more noticeable side effects. On the third day, my atrial fibrillation was severe, sore neck, pounding headache, and earache. My blood pressure rose, and my vision blurred so bad I went to my doctor, who sent me to another eye doctor. By the end of the third day, I was scheduled for eye surgery. 50 mg Myrbetriq works, but were my side effects all a coincidence or real side effects? In today's society, we regret the economic losses more than the loss of life, besides what really could go wrong, any prescription has FDA approval."

For Neurogenic Detrusor Overactivity "This is in addition to an earlier review. My bladder used to feel as if it had a severe painful cramp or spasm that was continuous and was worsened by car trips, plane trips. Myrbetriq works to relieve the spasms, but I still don't like the side effects. If anything else worked, I would definitely change in a heartbeat. However, the side effects aren’t quite so bad since I was able to stop a medication for a different condition that had similar side effects, so they are somewhat reduced, but I still have a continuous runny nose, very dry skin, and sometimes irregular heartbeats, also bad constipation, difficulty in starting and maintaining urination. I wish there was something else for this condition, but my life was so severely impacted before that I keep taking it. I think it’s been about five years."

For Urinary Frequency "Started taking 25 mg, then after about 6 weeks was increased to 50 mg. Started having the world's worst headaches, sinus pain, earache, heart palpitations, and very elevated blood pressure. Primary care had me stop immediately. Only been off for one day and still have headache and sinus pain. Will never take again. Overpriced and never worked well for my frequency."

For Urinary Frequency "Ten days after using the drug Myrbetriq, I was admitted to the ER with severe chest pains, then went into A-fib and had to have a pacemaker put in."
