Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Nasal Congestion "I have bad spring allergies which last me about 2 months. I was sick and tired of blowing my nose millions of times a day and couldn't breathe through my nose. My classmate suggested that I take Claritin-D 24 hours. This pill works great, but there is a huge side effect which I hate. Pros - cleared my nasal passage, stopped sneezing, stopped itchy eyes, stopped running nose. Cons - dry mouth, weakness, insomnia, dizziness, feeling high, and pain in my thigh and leg. But otherwise, this works great, such a lifesaver."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Allergic Rhinitis "I tried this for my bad allergies. It did help with my nose itching. I had bad side effects that outweighed any benefits. I have been antsy, dizzy, my heart has been pounding, nauseated, and overall just not feeling well. I can’t wait for it to be out of my system. I won't take it again."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Nasal Congestion "Best decongestant I have ever taken. As effective as any sinus rinse, but a lot less annoying to take a pill! One slight side effect: minor headaches. Do not take Claritin D-24 on a daily basis - it is too strong and caused dizziness."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Nasal Congestion "My doctor recommended this to me because both my ears are congested. I'm not used to really taking medications. Just Tylenol and Motrin. So my first hour after taking it, I felt super nervous. My heart was pounding, felt like it was going to burst through my chest, and my breathing was really weird. Then later that night, I could not sleep for the life of me. I kept tossing and turning. Basically stayed up watching t.v. My fiancé asked if I had been up all night. I was up for more than 24 hours. I took 2 melatonin the night after, and I fell asleep. Woke up with a headache and dizziness. Mind you, I have anxiety. It triggered it. First time trying it and would not recommend it to anyone. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Nasal Congestion "My doctor recommended Claritin-D since I have been having problems with my ears relating to allergies. I took one pill at night thinking it would make me drowsy when it did the exact opposite. I was wide awake the entire night, my heart was racing, and I was beyond jittery. I even felt paranoid at one point. I took one of my hydroxyzine pills in hopes it would help, it didn’t. I already have anxiety, and I felt like I was on the verge of having a panic attack on this medicine. The next day I feel dizzy still, and my mouth is dry. I would not recommend this medicine at night, especially if you already have anxiety."

For Nasal Congestion "I found Alavert to be extremely effective with two side effects, and depending on how bad you feel, they might not bother you. I noticed I had a ton of energy and couldn't go to sleep, so I found myself cleaning. My house is better because of it. I also found myself getting up to pee almost every hour once I fell asleep. All in all, it relieved my headache, dizziness, and nasal congestion."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Allergic Rhinitis "I will say it worked well for my stuffy and runny nose from AR… but it’s kind of impossible to sleep when I’m taking this, even if I take it first thing in the morning. I also get super nauseous and shaky from it, and almost felt ready to pass out a few times. The dizziness is a bit too scary for me, lol. I’d say stick to the 12-hour version or just skip the pseudoephedrine if you feel like this too."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Allergic Rhinitis "Took it for a severe seasonal allergy attack about 9:30 this morning. It knocked out the allergies but knocked me out also. It’s 3:55 and I just woke up but my head is foggy, body is wobbly, and I can hear the blood pulsing through my head. Probably about to go back to sleep, staying awake is taking too much effort. Too strong for me. Husband takes it regularly with no side effects."

Loratadine / pseudoephedrine for Allergic Rhinitis "Awful. Immediately after I took it, I felt nauseous, an extreme sadness, dizzy, and anxious. A few hours later, my mood went back up, but then I became jittery and had insomnia. Didn’t get a single hour of sleep. I do not recommend."
