For Glaucoma, Open Angle "My ophthalmologist started me on this. I just saw him again yesterday and confessed that I have not been putting the drops in every night. He told me that getting glaucoma would be worse. I got a new refill since the latanoprost is not stable."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "I was diagnosed with a retinal occlusion, which is a swollen vein in my retina due to pressure. If not cared for, I could go blind. The doctor prescribed latanoprost drops. Very early, only been taking them for 2 weeks. But I have been nervous and anxious with shakes. I also feel pressure pain in my eyes. Will return to the doctor in two weeks for a follow-up. I do not care for the anxiety and nervous feelings all day. I am curious to see if the drops helped with my eye pressure."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "In the 3 months taking latanoprost, I had 2 episodes of sleep paralysis. Most people will not experience this horror in their lifetime. You cannot wake up from sleep and be fully aware that you can't. Has anyone else had this? Thankfully, it doesn't last more than a minute or two, but it's a horrible feeling. Plus, two very terrible nightmares. Feeling better having stopped the drug. Will look into laser treatment."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "My eye pressures had been gradually rising in my senior years and reached 21-21 by age 70. My eye doctor decided to put me on latanoprost, and the results after 30 straight nights of taking drops were amazing. My pressures dropped to 13-12 with no side effects whatsoever. I'll have no problem taking these drops for the rest of my life to avoid potential optic nerve damage."

For Intraocular Hypertension "I have been on latanoprost for just over a week. I'm experiencing anxiety, lack of focus, mild palpitations, and some kind of dizziness. I have trouble focusing and have been feeling fatigued throughout all this time. My doctor says to use it for another week and then stop a week before I visit him again. This way, he reckons he'll be able to tell whether or not to take me off it completely or change the drop."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "My only concern is the container for the drops. It dribbles and wastes the med. There are other containers that work better. You squeeze and get a drop without a delayed dribble."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "Well, today would have been my third day using the drops, but I slept all day and will skip the dose until tomorrow. I read all the information inside the box. I did all the internet searches - googled, binged, duckduckgo, you name it. I read that the medication must be kept refrigerated until I open it. That means when I buy it from my local Walgreens, CVS, Target, or Rite Aid, or the Victorian pharmacist, it better be cold. Please understand that I read what it meant, which means I don't want to hear, 'oh no, it's okay, it can be 6 weeks to months.' No, to me it means JUST LIKE THE VACCINE, YOU MUST KEEP IT COLD OR ELSE CHANGE THE LITERATURE."
