For Psoriatic Arthritis "I've been using Simponi for psoriatic arthritis for 5 months. Before that, I was using Enbrel. I had a small amount of psoriasis on my scalp before starting Simponi, and now I have much more. I like the once-a-month injection, but believe I'll be returning to Enbrel soon, as I believe it did a better job."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "This is terrible stuff. Made my RA worse. Caused side effects of extreme fatigue, muscle pains, psoriasis on my scalp and dermatitis, and my hair has been falling out. Also causing my lymph nodes to swell. It has been 3 months, so I am trying something else and will discontinue. Wish I never tried."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I tried Simponi for 9 months for psoriatic arthritis. At first, it was like a miracle. Then the pustular psoriasis started on my legs, my hair started falling out, and my mood got very strange. Bloodwork showed super high cholesterol, which was 3 times what it ever was. Psoriasis flared worse than ever all over my body. My skin has never gone back to normal. Terrible, scary drug. Wish I'd never tried it."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I was taking Enbrel previously and found that it helped, but my doctor moved me on to Simponi. I have done two infusions of Simponi and developed psoriasis on my face, which is painful. The doctor has told me I have had an allergic reaction to this medication. I have had an allergic reaction to a similar medication, Humira. If you can't take Humira, do not use Simponi."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I’ve been using Simponi for almost 10 years now. Since starting, my back, neck, and hip pain has gone from an 8/10 to a 2/10, and my energy has almost doubled. It’s been life-changing. Side effects for me included psoriasis, hair loss, and weight gain. Well worth it, though, to not always be in constant and debilitating pain all the time. After 10 years, I’d say it’s still about 90% effective."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "My experience has been, for the most part, positive. I have experienced a few side effects: psoriasis on my scalp and face, chronic infection in my nose. However, pain in my body has decreased by half, and I can wear my wedding ring again. Flare-ups are not near as debilitating."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Taking for 8 months, has completely stopped flares in its tracks. Sometimes able to lift heavier objects without pain and can sleep on my side for short periods again. But having psoriasis on scalp and some kind of sores on skin now. Will space injections out to see if sores/bumps clear up. Taking every 5 weeks."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Simponi has helped my symptoms tremendously. I did not have to take methotrexate along with this. I am very happy to be almost pain-free. But I do notice maybe psoriasis beginning on my scalp."
