For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was put on this Estarylla birth control pill after a long 2 month period and ovarian cyst . It stopped my period almost immediately! I’ve been on Estarylla For three months now and the worst side effect I’ve experienced is weight gain. My period is also more heavy and painful than usual but honestly I will take that over two months of non-stop bleeding ."

For Birth Control "I started this pill exactly 1 month ago and I absolutely love it. I've been on birth contol twice before and Estarylla is definitely my favorite one. The only side effect I’ve had is being emotional towards boyfriend & friends, nothing extreme. I haven’t noticed any weight gain or loss. I see everyone is having different reactions to this pill but it totally works for me!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 8 months now, and I go on here and read these reviews and wonder where people are getting this from. I understand everyone's body is different, and reacts differently to different pills. For me, this pill cleared almost all my acne, I haven't gained weight, my super painful cramps have almost vanished, my flow isn't as heavy, the only real bad side effect I have noticed is the mood swings, but even those are not that bad. It's a great pill."

For Birth Control "I started taking pill form of birth control at the age of 16 and stopped at 23 when I experienced a pulmonary embolism in my lung due to this drug that almost killed me. On top of the blood clot, I had severe acute necrotizing pneumonia (which I believe I contracted due to the dead lung tissue from the blood clot.) I was in the best shape of my life in terms of fitness: a muay thai martial artist and a recreational body building weightlifter. My fitness & my youth saved my life. I was the sickest patient in the ICU stepdown. I still have PTSD. Think twice if you want to take this birth control. There are much safer options (such as Mirena IUD that I am now on). My gyno also had me on years of premarin which I had stopped taking months prior to my blood clot. Regardless of the premarin boosting my chances, it is still not worth the risk by taking this drug. Avoid taking this at all costs and use a safer birth control option that is non-systemic. It’s rare until it happens to you."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was a little excited to say the least but nervous since I haven’t been on any medications since my tubal ligation 6 years prior. Within the first few weeks I was already bleeding. I bled for 9 weeks straight. It was miserable and then if to make things worse, I wanted to take out everyone around me for about 5 weeks. I had extreme anger issues, depression, my skin was breaking out. Talked to my doctor many times and was told to give it a little time to see how I adjusted. After 6 months I decided I couldn’t take it anymore. I would have times that were okay but I often felt like rubbish on this pill. The last straw was when I started a new packet of pills. I was fine the first week, started bleeding mid 2nd week and by the third week I was passing large blood clots for days and then I got my period the 4th week. This pill isn’t for me and now I’m starting something new. Hoping for better results!!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was on this birth control for just one month. When I reached the final week of pills, my period was so heavy that I went through a super tampon almost ever 2 hours. Around the third day of this, I experienced abdominal pain so awful that I couldn't sleep. I ended up going to the hospital because I was passing large clots and I couldn't stand up without feeling extremely dizzy. This is was the first birth control I ever tried and needless to say, it was not a present experience."

For Birth Control "This medication does prevent pregnancy for me. It cleared my acne and made my periods lighter. However, it gave me mood swings, extremely sore nipples, high irritability, loss of sex drive and decreased my appetite. I've been miserable. I don't get cramps during my period but now during ovulation I get slight cramps. Every month I swear I'm pregnant because of the side effects but I get my period. I'm almost done with month 4 and I'm thinking of stopping."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Insurance wouldn't cover the usual so I was given this one. Well only one week and I feel crazed. Heart rate off, breathing labored, sweats, fatigued but can't sleep, super restless. And on day 7 I said - its this pill. Mind you also bleeding on it. Never have I ever had side effects from birth control but this one makes me just feel off. Looked up anxiety and boom all my symptoms. This pill made me super anxious. I am done. No more for me."

For Birth Control "I have never in my life had acne but ever since I been taking Estarylla tablets 28s I have acne and my period doesn't come on time, it comes 4 days late. I always take it at the same time everyday and never miss a day. I would NOT Recommend it to anyone."

For Birth Control "I am about halfway through my first pill pack and I am having pretty good success so far. This is my first time taking birth control but so far there have been no side effects and no real changes. Reading the reviews here had me worried but so far for me everything seems to be fine. I guess I'll have to report back in a few months."

For Birth Control "I was originally on Sprintec then switched to Estarylla so I didn’t have to pay every month for birth control. I experienced weight gain at first, but once my body got used to the hormones my weight dropped down back to normal (but my boobs did get bigger so that’s a plus). I was so shocked to read all the negative reviews. I haven’t really ever had any problems on this birth control, no pregnancy scares, and my period is extremely regular. The only thing that’s annoying is that my period continues for an extra 3 days and it’s just really light spotting, but that also happened before I started birth control. My periods were extremely heavy, I’m talking bleeding through an ultra tampon after 3 hours, and now it is so much better. I do still have cramps, but they are so much better than they were prior to birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started Estarylla 3 months ago due to prolonged bleeding caused by my previous pill. Estarylla stopped my month and half long period almost immediately. Unfortunately, this is only good thing that I've found since being on the pill. I have severe nausea and vomiting weekly, loss of appetite, extremely sore, swelling breasts but no change in size, spotting, heavy bloating and MOOD SWINGS. Little things seem to make me irritated and angry. It seems like the side effects are beginning to die down going into the 4 month but it's hard to tell. The only reason it has 3 stars is because it stopped my prolonged bleeding and I'm not pregnant. I will not continue use if my body doesn't adjust soon."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This is supposed to be my second month on Estarylla, after not taking birth control for over 8 years. I’ve never experienced mood swings (although I’m naturally moody) on any birth control until now. Estarylla has made me so depressed, I constantly had headaches (and I very rarely get headaches), and the bleeding this month was insane. I was passing blood clots the size of my fist and went to the ER because I was so worried. They said everything was fine and I wasn’t prescribed anything to stop or slow the bleeding.... but I know that this isn’t normal. Gonna find a new birth control because Estarylla is not the answer FOR ME. I started taking because I was having bleeding between periods for a few months, and I wanted to be more regular. This did regulate cycle but I’d rather be irregular than have the massive amount of bleeding that I did on my cycle."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for a little over a year. It cleared my acne very well, it worked perfectly to prevent pregnancy (noted that I NEVER missed a pill and was NEVER more than 3 hours late.) I never had any negative side effects with this pill. Only thing that it did not solve was my awful period cramps. Did lessen my heavy bleeding, though."

For Acne "I was prescribed Estarylla by my gynecologist in an attempt to lessen my hormonal acne. That said, I did some research on Estarylla before I took it, and came across an overwhelming amount of negative reviews. Despite that, I trusted my gynecologist and decided to try the Estarylla. WORST. DECISION. OF. MY. LIFE! I suffered from minor side-effects such as breast tenderness and back aches, all the way to more severe side-effects like horrible mood alterations, paranoia, and heightened anxiety levels. My panic was so bad at one point in the day, that I had to take my prescription anxiety medication to calm me down (which I haven’t had to do in months). I’m not saying “don’t try Estarylla“, as all bodies are made different, but please be carful and consult your doctor first!!!"

For Birth Control "Okay, I was really nervous to take Estarylla because of all the bad reviews and I normally take Trinessa. Anyways, after I ran out of Trinessa, I decided to put on my big girl jeans and try out Estarylla. If the pill was gonna be bad for me, I was gonna stop taking it and request another birth control. When I took the first pill, I had a slight headache, but I still went to all my classes. By my third pill, I think I had a lil depression but I couldn't tell if it was the pill or just my college classes being tough on me. Regardless I still got my work and extracurricular activities done. Currently, I'm on Week 3 and I'm still alive!!! No headache, stomach pains, depression. I'm good. I think you, reader, need to be reminded that our body reacts differently to certain medication. Also my acne isn't bad either, my face is actually clearing up. Just know every lil pill is different. Good luck!"

For Birth Control "ive taken this pill one month and so far the first week I was absolutely fine then the second week I started to be a little bit down and then the third week I literally cried at least 3 times a day. I became very tired and I had no motivation to do anything I slept 12-14 hours or I didn't sleep at all I've been angry and irritable for the slightest things I am 15 and normally I'm a very bubbly positive energetic person and I don't even feel like me anymore and ive been really depressed. I'm very highly disappointed with this pill it was the first birth control I've ever used I used it to regulate my period so far it's done its job I suppose however the side effects and mood that I've been in are most certainly not worth it don't take it."

For Ovarian Cysts "This is a TERRIBLE pill! I was on Mononessa for years, mainly to balance issues related to PCOS- depression, anxiety, irregular bleeding, excess hair. All was going OK- better when I ate right and exercise regularly, then suddenly no pharmacies near me would stock Mononessa, and they switched me to Estarylla claiming it was exactly the same pill. I spoke with my doctor and nurses, and they assured me it was the same. They are NOT the same. I've been on Estarylla for 3 months, and have never in my life had panic attacks and depressive episodes like this. I've had spotting between periods, and my libido is dead. Makes you wonder who's making $$$ off this pill- because after reading other reviews it sure as hell isn't helping anyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Stay away from this pill. I NEVER have side effects from any birth control I've taken in the past. I was switched to Estarylla and took it for maybe 2-3 months and I have been bleeding for a week and a half now, who knows how long it'll last."

For Birth Control "I've been on Estarylla 0.25mg for a month and half now. I've had such terrible experiences with birth control pills. But I can say theirs not too much bad I can say about Estarylla other than I am nauseous as if i'm pregnant. Mornings seem to be the worst I take my pill at night to help avoid sickness but I'm sick regardless. But I can say it's cleared up my ache and NO CRAZY MOOD SWINGS! Thank god.. NO MORE, depression, anxiety, night sweats, NO WEIGHT GAIN. I'm waiting on period #2 to see how my blood flow will be on this month because unlike the other pills I can say I had a longer period then the typical 3-4 days my period last month was a good 7-10 days. I am hoping this month will be lighter and my typical 3-4 days:)"

For Birth Control "Absolutely the worse BC I’ve been on in my 13+ years. I will refuse to accept this when I go in for a refill. This has given me horrible cramps, headache, breast pain and tenderness, mood swings, nausea and has killed my sex drive, definitely no way to get pregnant on this if you never want to do anything so I guess it works in that aspect. STAY AWAY I wish I would have known before leaving the pharmacy, I can’t wait for this to be over!"

For Birth Control "I got a severe leg blood clot (DVT) and lung blood clots (PE) from this birth control. I have been on it for a couple months and it has been confirmed from hematologists that I received my blood clots from this birth control. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through the pain and suffering I have from taking this pill. DO NOT TAKE"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I used to take Sprintec, but the pharmacy isn't carrying it now I believe. I started taking this generic which is suppose to be the same and the first month was ok, my period was shorter than normal, we get to month 2 and my period starts up on week 2 of the pack. I am now on month 3 and my period started up again midway they week 1, I haven’t stopped bleeding. So for the whole entire month of January I have had to stock up on supplies because my period hasn't stopped at all. I want to sleep all the time, I already have issues with my depression and anxiety and I’ve noticed since starting the birth control I am a little bit more on the edge. Would not recommend anybody take this pill."
