For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was on this birth control for just one month. When I reached the final week of pills, my period was so heavy that I went through a super tampon almost ever 2 hours. Around the third day of this, I experienced abdominal pain so awful that I couldn't sleep. I ended up going to the hospital because I was passing large clots and I couldn't stand up without feeling extremely dizzy. This is was the first birth control I ever tried and needless to say, it was not a present experience."

For Birth Control "This medication does prevent pregnancy for me. It cleared my acne and made my periods lighter. However, it gave me mood swings, extremely sore nipples, high irritability, loss of sex drive and decreased my appetite. I've been miserable. I don't get cramps during my period but now during ovulation I get slight cramps. Every month I swear I'm pregnant because of the side effects but I get my period. I'm almost done with month 4 and I'm thinking of stopping."

For Acne "I am about three weeks into my first pack of Estarylla BC and my acne is worse than ever before. I was on trinessa for 5 years and still had some annoying hormonal acne and I was beginning to spot in between periods so my gyno switch me to Estarylla. What I like about Estrarylla is that I haven’t had any nausea from the pill like I have had with trinessa in the past. I’ve read other reviews saying to just stick with estarylla for a couple of months since the skin should clear up as the body adjusts. I sure hope that is right. I’m 22 and I’m at my wits end with this acne !!!"

For Acne "The only good thing about this drug is that it cleared up my acne around my cycle time. The bad thing is I cramp like my cycle first day for two weeks. Period was a week late, and then stayed on for a week and a half and I spot/bleed constantly. If the spotting seems to stop, and I go to have sex, here comes the period back on. And the spotting comes back. It messed up my body so bad. I don’t think the irregular bleeding is worth keeping a few pimples away. And not to mention that you will be nauseated and will have a queasy stomach all the time. It gets worse after you eat. Every single time."

For Birth Control "I have never in my life had acne but ever since I been taking Estarylla tablets 28s I have acne and my period doesn't come on time, it comes 4 days late. I always take it at the same time everyday and never miss a day. I would NOT Recommend it to anyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started Estarylla 3 months ago due to prolonged bleeding caused by my previous pill. Estarylla stopped my month and half long period almost immediately. Unfortunately, this is only good thing that I've found since being on the pill. I have severe nausea and vomiting weekly, loss of appetite, extremely sore, swelling breasts but no change in size, spotting, heavy bloating and MOOD SWINGS. Little things seem to make me irritated and angry. It seems like the side effects are beginning to die down going into the 4 month but it's hard to tell. The only reason it has 3 stars is because it stopped my prolonged bleeding and I'm not pregnant. I will not continue use if my body doesn't adjust soon."

For Birth Control "I am about halfway through my first pill pack and I am having pretty good success so far. This is my first time taking birth control but so far there have been no side effects and no real changes. Reading the reviews here had me worried but so far for me everything seems to be fine. I guess I'll have to report back in a few months."

For Ovarian Cysts "I was diagnose with POS and was told that my uterine wall was thickening. My periods became abnormal so my uterus was not shedding its wall the way it's suppose to every month. My doctor put me on Estarylla to clear the cysts. Six months later, my follow up showed no more cysts and uterine wall was normal. She suggested to stay on the pill for three more months but I decided to stay on it longer for the birth control effect. This pill worked effectively in ridding my cysts. The side effects weren't too bad. Loss of weight, but I always lose weight with birth control pills. Little to no sex drive. Maybe a little moody, but I can't really say, because at the time, my family was going through changes-everyone was stressed and moody, even my five year old :) Overall, it did its job which was to reduce or clear my cysts, and thin out my uterine wall. Side effects, not too bad. I've had worst with other BC pills. This is only my personal experience. Everyone's body reacts differently."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This is supposed to be my second month on Estarylla, after not taking birth control for over 8 years. I’ve never experienced mood swings (although I’m naturally moody) on any birth control until now. Estarylla has made me so depressed, I constantly had headaches (and I very rarely get headaches), and the bleeding this month was insane. I was passing blood clots the size of my fist and went to the ER because I was so worried. They said everything was fine and I wasn’t prescribed anything to stop or slow the bleeding.... but I know that this isn’t normal. Gonna find a new birth control because Estarylla is not the answer FOR ME. I started taking because I was having bleeding between periods for a few months, and I wanted to be more regular. This did regulate cycle but I’d rather be irregular than have the massive amount of bleeding that I did on my cycle."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for a little over a year. It cleared my acne very well, it worked perfectly to prevent pregnancy (noted that I NEVER missed a pill and was NEVER more than 3 hours late.) I never had any negative side effects with this pill. Only thing that it did not solve was my awful period cramps. Did lessen my heavy bleeding, though."

For Acne "I was prescribed Estarylla by my gynecologist in an attempt to lessen my hormonal acne. That said, I did some research on Estarylla before I took it, and came across an overwhelming amount of negative reviews. Despite that, I trusted my gynecologist and decided to try the Estarylla. WORST. DECISION. OF. MY. LIFE! I suffered from minor side-effects such as breast tenderness and back aches, all the way to more severe side-effects like horrible mood alterations, paranoia, and heightened anxiety levels. My panic was so bad at one point in the day, that I had to take my prescription anxiety medication to calm me down (which I haven’t had to do in months). I’m not saying “don’t try Estarylla“, as all bodies are made different, but please be carful and consult your doctor first!!!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I used to take Sprintec, but the pharmacy isn't carrying it now I believe. I started taking this generic which is suppose to be the same and the first month was ok, my period was shorter than normal, we get to month 2 and my period starts up on week 2 of the pack. I am now on month 3 and my period started up again midway they week 1, I haven’t stopped bleeding. So for the whole entire month of January I have had to stock up on supplies because my period hasn't stopped at all. I want to sleep all the time, I already have issues with my depression and anxiety and I’ve noticed since starting the birth control I am a little bit more on the edge. Would not recommend anybody take this pill."

For Birth Control "Okay, I was really nervous to take Estarylla because of all the bad reviews and I normally take Trinessa. Anyways, after I ran out of Trinessa, I decided to put on my big girl jeans and try out Estarylla. If the pill was gonna be bad for me, I was gonna stop taking it and request another birth control. When I took the first pill, I had a slight headache, but I still went to all my classes. By my third pill, I think I had a lil depression but I couldn't tell if it was the pill or just my college classes being tough on me. Regardless I still got my work and extracurricular activities done. Currently, I'm on Week 3 and I'm still alive!!! No headache, stomach pains, depression. I'm good. I think you, reader, need to be reminded that our body reacts differently to certain medication. Also my acne isn't bad either, my face is actually clearing up. Just know every lil pill is different. Good luck!"

For Birth Control "ive taken this pill one month and so far the first week I was absolutely fine then the second week I started to be a little bit down and then the third week I literally cried at least 3 times a day. I became very tired and I had no motivation to do anything I slept 12-14 hours or I didn't sleep at all I've been angry and irritable for the slightest things I am 15 and normally I'm a very bubbly positive energetic person and I don't even feel like me anymore and ive been really depressed. I'm very highly disappointed with this pill it was the first birth control I've ever used I used it to regulate my period so far it's done its job I suppose however the side effects and mood that I've been in are most certainly not worth it don't take it."

For Birth Control "I started taking pill form of birth control at the age of 16 and stopped at 23 when I experienced a pulmonary embolism in my lung due to this drug that almost killed me. On top of the blood clot, I had severe acute necrotizing pneumonia (which I believe I contracted due to the dead lung tissue from the blood clot.) I was in the best shape of my life in terms of fitness: a muay thai martial artist and a recreational body building weightlifter. My fitness & my youth saved my life. I was the sickest patient in the ICU stepdown. I still have PTSD. Think twice if you want to take this birth control. There are much safer options (such as Mirena IUD that I am now on). My gyno also had me on years of premarin which I had stopped taking months prior to my blood clot. Regardless of the premarin boosting my chances, it is still not worth the risk by taking this drug. Avoid taking this at all costs and use a safer birth control option that is non-systemic. It’s rare until it happens to you."

For Ovarian Cysts "Dangerous. Especially if you are prone to anxiety or depression. My pharmacy switched me to this twice after Mononessa was no longer available. Once last year and again in the last month. I’ve spotted every day on this pill, with abnormal depression and anxiety. Definitely will never take again, and definitely do not recommend!!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Stay away from this pill. I NEVER have side effects from any birth control I've taken in the past. I was switched to Estarylla and took it for maybe 2-3 months and I have been bleeding for a week and a half now, who knows how long it'll last."

For Birth Control "Hello, So I've been on Estarylla 0.25mg for a month and half now. I've had such terrible experiences with birth control pills. But I can say theirs not too much bad I can say about Estarylla other than I am nauseous as if i'm pregnant. Mornings seem to be the worst I take my pill at night to help avoid sickness but I'm sick regardless. But I can say it's cleared up my ache and NO CRAZY MOOD SWINGS! Thank god.. NO MORE, depression, anxiety, night sweats, NO WEIGHT GAIN. I'm waiting on period #2 to see how my blood flow will be on this month because unlike the other pills I can say I had a longer period then the typical 3-4 days my period last month was a good 7-10 days. I am hoping this month will be lighter and my typical 3-4 days:)"

For Birth Control "Absolutely the worse BC I’ve been on in my 13+ years. I will refuse to accept this when I go in for a refill. This has given me horrible cramps, headache, breast pain and tenderness, mood swings, nausea and has killed my sex drive, definitely no way to get pregnant on this if you never want to do anything so I guess it works in that aspect. STAY AWAY I wish I would have known before leaving the pharmacy, I can’t wait for this to be over!"

For Acne "I have recently started my third month of Estarylla and I am trying to be really patient with this pill because I have not experienced any side effects that I read. Not even one! My mood is the same, I have always been emotional (Cancer moon and sun), and I am not feeling sick or anything like that. I understand that it takes time for things to adjust nothing is instant so hopefully toward the end of this month I will start to see changes!"

For Birth Control "I got a severe leg blood clot (DVT) and lung blood clots (PE) from this birth control. I have been on it for a couple months and it has been confirmed from hematologists that I received my blood clots from this birth control. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through the pain and suffering I have from taking this pill. DO NOT TAKE"

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Estarylla for about 4 months now. Before this I was taking sprintec and it seemed to be working just fine for me . The pharmacy changed the prescription saying that it was the same birth control with no different side effects. Wrong!!! I am a little bit of an emotional and sensitive person as it is, but this birth control has turned me into the worst emotional wreck that I have ever been!!! I am constantly nauseous with relief very rarely. Headaches come and go but it’s mostly the nausea, anxiety and depression. I definitely would not recommend this birth control to any girl who wants to keep their happy spirit alive and kicking. It’s terrible."

For Birth Control "The WORST! I was switched to after years of being on mononessa. Mononessa gave me no issues. I have never had depression before and over the last year I have been depressed, and one time I had suicidal thoughts. I get irate at small things .Like a coworker not refilling the handsoap or I would start crying when the person driving in front of me took too long to turn. I have always been a happy person and I never felt like myself when I was taking this pill. I am chronically fatigued all day, everyday. I can sleep 8 hours and still not want to get up. I started having to take naps daily because otherwise I can't even handle a small task, like the dishes. Gained a few pounds and even with exercising 5 days a week, and eating healthy I couldn't lose weight. I am a bubbly, active individual..not on this. I wasted over a year of my life, feeling crappy about myself & crying because of this pill. This pill has tormented me. My sex drive was weak. I hope no one else has to experience any of this."
