For Birth Control "I am 34 years old, and I've had my share of birth control. The NuvaRing made me have yeast infections, Mirena had me bleeding for 8 months. I stayed with it because my doctor told me to hold out. I also tried Depo twice when I was a teen. This is my 3rd week on Loestrin 24 Fe. The 1st week, I was a little moody. I still am a little. I spotted in the second week, but other than that, I'm fine. I know that with taking any birth control it will affect me some, but other than small things that are to be expected, I have no other problems. My skin is clear, and I feel pretty cool. As I mentioned though, this is my 3rd week. I will keep you all posted."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control from 2008-2010 and just started taking it again, on my second month this time around. The first time I didn't have any negative side effects. My periods were really light and only 2-3 days and didn't experience any spotting between, minimal cramps if any, and my skin cleared up. I may have had slight mood and weight changes, but I don't blame the birth control. This time around I started taking my pill at 9 a.m. instead of 7 p.m. I spotted for the first 2.5 weeks and am on week 2 of my second pack and never started my period during the placebo days. I'm not too worried since my body has probably changed over the past 2 years. I also noticed that my breasts grew 0.5-1 cup size the first month and are slightly tender."

"I'm fifteen and my doctor prescribed this for me because I have no health insurance and am unable to afford to take the proper tests to figure out the thing that is wrong with me. So far it's been okay. I'm on my second month and I have experienced spotting in the first month, but I was also on antibiotics, so I don't know if it's from that or not. Overall, I really like this pill, it made me start my period on time, and although I had painful cramping, it only lasted for 4 days and was a lot lighter than usual. I'm not using this as birth control, so I can't say if it's a good contraceptive."

For Birth Control "I am 18 and just switched to Loestrin 24 a month and a half ago. I was on Tri-Sprintec for about 2 years, my periods were 7 days long, and I was sick of it. So I have taken a pack and a half of Loestrin 24, and all was good until 2 weeks in when I started spotting and got my period. I have now been spotting for a whole month on and off. It is pretty annoying but not a big deal. I have read a lot of these comments, and a lot of women have had this happen for about 3 months, ugh! My sex drive has increased significantly, and I have been climaxing very quickly. Other than the random spotting for a month, I have nothing bad to say about this pill. No weight gain, no increase in acne, no sick feeling or anything, hopefully, the spotting stops soon!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Loestrin for 5 weeks now. I had many side effects so far. I've had the heavy spotting almost like a regular period 2 weeks before my actual period supposed to start. My breasts are tender and I feel nauseous all the time. I take mine before I go to bed and they said to take it with food, it should help with the nausea. I get dizzy and very moody. I do mean MOODY! I thought about stopping, but I read from others to stick with it and it will get better. I just had a baby six months ago, so I know my hormones need time to adjust to this pill too. I'm going to keep trying to take it and wait and see if I feel better."

For Birth Control "I've been on Loestrin 24 for about a month and one week, and I went from 112 to 117, and my breasts went from a C cup to a D cup! The breasts I suppose I don't mind too much, but I absolutely cannot stand the weight gain. I'm a cheerleader, and I'm a flyer (the one who goes in the air), so I'm unhappy with that. I've also had some random spotting."

"During the first month I felt sick and had some spotting. I have been using it for almost 18 months now and I love it! I love the shorter periods (only 2-3 days). I started using it to stop serious cramping and it worked very well. It caused no weight gain, my breast size increased from a B to a C. I am an active runner and this pill still works great for me, I will not be switching to anything else anytime soon. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for something good to use."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm in the beginning of month two on Loestrin. I've always had crazy periods, so my body is still adjusting. I've had spotting the last week or so and my period just started before it was supposed to, but I think it's because I haven't been taking the pill at EXACTLY the same time every day. I'll quit taking it for a few days to let my period run its course, then will start again and hopefully keep things under control. So far I have had no weight gain, no moodiness/anxiety, no crazy acne or anything. I have had minor cramps here and there, but that's about it! I'll leave another review in a month or two!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Loestrin 24 Fe for a year and my new doctor emphatically took me off of it today. Yes, the pill did its job (no baby - yay!), but I also experienced increasingly light/missed periods, frequent spotting in between, and most recently, recurring ovarian cysts which grow so large that they rupture and cause the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. I was afraid that I had a problem with my ovaries, but my doctor thinks I'm fine and that the pill is to blame. I'm 27 years old and in the past I have taken three other brands of birth control pills (Yaz, Yasmin, and Aviane) and have never had a problem."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Loestrin 24 Fe for 2 months now. 1st month I kept forgetting the pill, so I would double up - not good I know, but there were no bad side effects other than spotting before and after my period. So it made my period seem like it was 2 weeks long. If I didn't forget the pill, I would never run into that problem. I'm almost done with my second pack, and so far I've noticed my adult acne is clearing and my breasts are getting firmer - which is awesome. I've also noticed my demeanor is a lot more calm. My emotions seem to be in check. I'm not freaking out or crying all the time. I don't feel like I'm going insane or anything. I really like Loestrin 24 Fe and I'm glad I'm taking it."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 6 weeks. I've never been on birth control, so this is all new to me, but the first few weeks I had really heavy spotting, and then I didn't get my period at all when I was supposed to. I don't know what's wrong, but I'm just really worried about not getting my period."

For Birth Control "I wanted shorter periods and had breast pain on my old pill, so I asked for a low dose BC. I'm on month 4 of this pill and want to be off it desperately. Pack 1, I got a 1-day period and got excited. Pack 2, in the second week, I spotted a lot, then got a 2-day period on schedule. Pack 3, I spotted for 2 weeks and then had heavier spotting for a period. I'm almost through the first week of pack 4 and still bleeding, although it is way lighter than my previous periods on a different pill. I can't deal with this bleeding. My doctor said to give it 4 months, and here we are. I am asking to be put on my old BC ASAP, I'll put up with the sore boobs!"

For Birth Control "I have been on the pill for 12 days. It's my first time on any type of birth control pill. I am 28 years old. I have been spotting now for about 3 days. I am not sure if I should think of it as a light period that has been shifted because of the pill or not. I'll wait and see, I guess, but I am not supposed to start for another 2 weeks. Also, the first few days, I had a mild fever. My doctor said it was okay, and it went away shortly. I did have some breakouts on my face, and they have cleared by now. Some mood swings and definitely feels like I am PMSing all over again. It's still probably early, so I'll put up another update in a month or so."

For Birth Control "This birth control made me have my period every other week, and when I wasn't on it, there was still spotting, which made me crazy emotional."
