For Birth Control "I didn’t have any issues with this birth control. It was the first one I was put on so I don’t have many to compare it to, but overall I never had an issue with it. It made my periods a lot shorter and lighter (from 7 days and extreme pain to 4 days and moderate pain.) I did gain a bit of weight and it didn’t help with my acne too much, but I was mostly looking for something to help my periods which it did. I just recently switched due to manufacturing issues but hopefully it comes back!"

For Birth Control "I'm only going on 2 months on Vienva and I'm done after this. It does it's job of preventing pregnancy, sure, but the side effects are a killer! It increased my anxiety substantially which is a problem as I already have GAD and panic disorder. My appetite swung from constantly starving to not wanting to eat a crumb. The abdominal cramping I get is severe, even worse then the cramps I got PMS-ing every month before I took this medication. And, isn't birth control supposed to help relieve PMS symptoms? It certainly does not do that for me. It makes them 10 times worse. This is just my final straw here and I will be stopping this medication."

For Birth Control "I took this medicine to help ease some of my menstrual pain and make my periods more regular. It has cut my menstrual pains and cramps down to about 10% of what they were, and I can CHOOSE when to get my period or not to get it at all. How awesome is that? I have experienced zero negative side effects. My quality of life has improved so much."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Vienva for exactly a month now and I am definitely switching. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow already. This pill has made my migraines 10x worse. The migraines will last anywhere from 24-36 hrs straight along with nausea, tiredness, dizziness, throbbing head pain, and mild mood swings. I had awful cramps within the first week of taking it and my period lasted 15 days. This pill is just awful. I will never take Vienva again."

For Birth Control "I was take Vienva for 2 months is the worst pill I have tried with that pill I only sleep 5 hour or less and make a lot cramping with my period and my skin have a lot break out pimples I don’t recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "I started this Vienva 3 weeks ago and it’s the worst . I’ve been have terrible stomach pains for a week now. Every time I look at food it makes me feel sick. I feel as if I’m hungry but when I eat the stomach pain gets worse. Woke up last night feeling like I was gonna puke and couldn’t go back to sleep. On top of that I have zero sex drive and everything upsets me which is affecting my relationship with my boyfriend. I’ve also noticed hair loss."

For Birth Control "HORRIBLE experience. I'm surprised this BC is on the market because it almost ruined my life. While on it, I was depressed, irritable, and bursts of anger as well as hair thinning, loss of appetite (I'm already thin), and acne. I could not figure out why I had basically no will to live or motivation to do anything and getting extremely irritable to not only my friends, boyfriend, but coworkers as well. I'm normally a very calm/collected person but this pill made me feel like I had no control over my life. AVOID!!"

For Birth Control "This is the worst birth control ever. I’m only a week and a half into this and have never felt this depressed and was wondering what was wrong with me. For Birth Control "This Vienva is the first birth control pill I’ve tried and I’m not pregnant so it’s doing its job. I felt nauseated a handful of times during the first two weeks, but it went away. I didn’t have to deal with any breakthrough bleeding and my periods are less heavy now, which is never a bad thing. My sex drive is definitely lower than it was before, but I haven’t really noticed any other side effects."

For Birth Control "Hi. I started Vienva because my boyfriend and I had decided we wanted to try having unprotected sex. The Vienva was the worst experience of my life. I'm the happiest girl in the world- always laughing and smiling. But Vienva just completely flipped a switch in me. I'm miserable, I can't concentrate, and my anxiety is through the roof. I feel terrible and I'm always crying-- AND I'M NOT A CRIER. Do not take this birth control PLEASE. I didn't think it would affect me like this but it has. Save yourself."

For Birth Control "Started taking birth control 6 years ago. Originally started with a different brand but I've been taking Vienva for a couple years now and haven't had a problem. My periods have gotten lighter and lighter as expected with taking any birth control for long periods of time. I think you have to consider that any birth control might give you typical side effects, mood swings, bloating, acne, head aches, etc. It just depends on how YOUR body reacts. I felt more side effects when I was on the first brand I tried and actually prefer Vienva. Everyone's different. Don't hesitate to try something. If it doesn't work out you can always switch."

For Birth Control "When I first started taking Vienva (Generic of Aviane, Orsythia, Lutera) I could instantly feel my mood change. I've become very moody/irritable and its made my anxiety much worse. Now three months in, I've been bleeding for 12 days straight and haven't gotten a goodnights sleep in weeks."

For Birth Control "Worst pill ever! I mean it! Please make sure you consult with your primary care before starting so they can go over your health history as well. I switched to this pill and have been having severe migraines for two weeks now. I’m also more anxious than before and irritable (my poor boyfriend). I stopped taking this pill and have had the best two days in the last 2 weeks!"

For Birth Control "Literally no. Stay away from this birth control. I didn’t want to listen to the reviews and decided to give Vienva a try. The first day that I began taking it I began feeling anxious. And then it got worse and things didn’t feel real and I felt like I was not myself at all. The night that I took my THIRD pill, I was in bed not being able to sleep the entire night because I had such bad anxiety, so many scary thoughts, and my mind and body would not stop going going going. I felt myself going insane. I am not taking the 4th pill... this is crazy. And I’ve been on a different birth control before that made me a little more sad and emotional, but this was a whole other level."

"I've been on vienva for about 3 years now! My periods are lighter, and I feel completely fine. I have noticed no change in my weight or in my mood. Only side effect I've experienced is just the migraines right before my period starts. I feel as though this is common considering a dip in your estrogen levels happens before your period. Overall the best thing you can do it is try it for yourself. Everyone reacts differently to medication."

For Birth Control "Just started and have had breakthrough bleeding since. I’m really hoping this ends soon because my last birth control had me very sick and I’m scared I’ll have an issue with this bc also. I know it’s a trial and error thing until you find a bc that works but this is very annoying and kinda scary too"

For Birth Control "I wanted to do this review for anyone who has just started this medicine. I’m 28 years old and have only tried birth control when I was 23 for a 2-week period and hated it. I wanted to try again so I was prescribed the Vienva. So far I have taken mine for 8-days. I waited for all the awful side effects I had seen in many reviews but have had few. The worst side effect I experienced was the nausea. Some days so bad my mouth would salivate and I would tremble. I have not experienced any noticeable effects on my mood, no headaches, no anxiety or depression, or any breakthrough bleeding. I’m honestly surprised as being someone whose basically never taken BC on the norm, I haven’t experience any worse side effects. I’ve also had a decrease in appetite and have noticed no effects on my sex drive either. So though it is still early, I feel like this is going to be a really good option for me."

For Birth Control "I started this birth control as my first ever, to stay protected from pregnancy and help with bloating/acne. After my first couple of months I have had zero side affects. I do get very tired about 20 minutes after taking the pill so I take it at night, but other than that, it hasn’t affected me at all. I am grateful but I know I need to wait and keep watching for side effect symptoms, in case any arise in the future. I highly recommend. (I thought I would leave a positive review because most people who are happy, don’t seem to bother!)"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Vienva for over a year now and only have good things to say! It does not impact my pre-existing anxiety and depression, doesn’t give me acne, or other issues. I recently realized as I’ve been losing weight that I’m bloated a lot, which could be attributed to this pill but I really don’t know. I recommend it!"

For Birth Control "Horrible, I hate these birth control pills Vienva. They have made me nauseous every morning, gave me headaches for a good week or so and will get really bad mood swings and make me feel so emotional sometimes. As soon as I finish this pack I will change to a different brand, or maybe even sooner because I can’t deal with this. Oh not to forget to mention, I’ve been bleeding since I got my period and have not stopped, I got my period over a week ago... without the pills my period will only last a few days 4 days tops."

For Birth Control "I would NOT recommend this to anyone. I wasn’t even on this birth control for a week before I stopped taking it. It made me extremely moody and tired, and gave me the WORST cystic acne of my life and I have never gotten cystic acne before. I had to call my doctor ASAP to switch my birth control."

For Birth Control "I've been on Vienva for 3 months now and I really like it. This was my first time on BC so I was terrified. The first month was probably the 'worst' (not even that bad but out of the three months it was), but my body was still adjusting. I had tender breasts, night sweats, a little bit of acne, I got tired easily, spotting, etc. But on the second month, those things went away. I still get my occasional pimple but nothing that I couldn't handle. I have a lot of stomach issues, so I thought I would be nauseous all the time... but I haven't experienced that at all. Also, my period is basically the same as it was before. Give it a try and definitely switch if you don't feel like this is for you. Just trying to give my opinion since I was one of the people who was scared to try it, and I read a lot of negative reviews..."

For Birth Control "So I have been on this birth control for over a year and am now suddenly having really swollen boobs about 2 weeks into the pack so a week and a half before my period starts. I thought I was pregnant the first few months it happened but it keeps happening to where I literally can’t touch my boobs or nipples without being in so much pain. Plus they have grown and are way too big for my body, don’t know what to do because I don’t have any other bad enough side effects that would make me want to change birth control."

For Birth Control " Ever since I started taking this birth control, I noticed a complete shift in myself. I have been soooooo depressed and my mood swings are so out of control. Before I started this birth control, I was a very happy and out going person and now I'm so depressed and emotionally about everything. My appetite is either extremely hungry are not hungry at all. There will be days where I just keep getting hungry and other days where I'm hunger maybe once a day and that's all. I'm always naueseous when I do eat and my cramps feel just the same as before. Beware and do your research before taking this!!"

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old and this is my first time on any kind of birth control. I’ve been taking Vienva for about six months. When I first started taking it, I experienced some bigger acne breakouts for a few days, but then my skin became completely clear and has stayed that way since. I don’t experience any nausea. My periods went from wildly irregular and unpredictable to coming like clockwork every 28 days. My sex drive has stayed the same. The only negative side to this medication so far has been very minor hair loss. I noticed my hair thinning out a couple months after I started taking the pill, but it’s nothing crazy. No bald spots, just thinner all around. Also, I’m not pregnant, so that’s a plus! If you’re looking to take the pill, I do recommend Vienva. Still, keep in mind that every body responds to medication differently. This is only MY experience, and yours might be different. Still recommend, though! :)"
