For Birth Control "After a few hours of taking the first pill, I felt slightly sick and sleepy. I woke up feeling down and took the next pill, about three hours later, I was nauseous and sick to my stomach. I threw up after the 5 hours of nausea and finally felt a little better. On the third day, I didn't take it because I was already feeling emotional and depressed, not to mention still sick and slightly weak. A birth control pill has never affected me this way before."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx birth control for 2 months now. I started taking it when my period started (like instructed to do). The next day my period had stopped completely. The week before Father's Day, I started spotting (no big deal). My breasts were so tender I couldn't stand to take my bra off, unusual pain (down there) and cramps so bad I would be doubled over and vomiting. It has caused major mood swings to the point I snap at a drop of a pen. The breakthrough bleeding has been going on for two weeks and is still going. My doctor has been called about it. I do not recommend Sronyx at all. When I took Lutera, I never had these problems."

For Birth Control "When I was 15, I had a different birth control pill that I was put on. And it did nothing at all... Fast forward to 20, I started taking this birth control medicine, along with my thyroid medicine, and noticed a tremendous difference in everything. I could never get a period every month on my own, and this has helped significantly. However, because that is helping me, I do notice that I've had more mood swing issues and depression. I also see people reporting about knee pain, which I can also confess that I have too! I haven't gained much weight from this medicine. Rather, I've been able to maintain. People are saying that they get light periods, mine are still more on the medium side/heavy. But that could also be from not having them after some time. And those who say that this didn't work, I highly recommend switching to some other form instead because not all of them will work for you."

For Birth Control "I was scared to use birth control because of all the taboos that come with being a Christian. I am a newlywed and don't plan on having kids till 1-2 more years, which is why I decided to get on it. I was prescribed this one, then Lutera, and now back to Sronyx. In all honesty, I have not felt anything with Sronyx, but Lutera did make me cranky, which is the only thing I will say is bad. My hair has actually grown, although I am breaking out more than usual, but nothing I can't handle. I have suffered from depression and anxiety previously, but BC has not had a large effect on that, as I have been able to control it. Don't be scared to try something because of others' bad experiences. You will have to live it yourself in order to understand if something works for you or not."

For Birth Control "Don’t use this. I went on this pill for abnormal uterine bleeding. I was on it for a full year and gained 10 pounds, been skinny my entire life and never felt so disgusting in my life than when I was on this pill. I was on another birth control before that, and it did not make me gain weight like Sronyx did. I just recently got the IUD, and I know it’s not for everyone, but I lost all the weight. I know that was what made me gain weight, even though the doctors do not say it. I also got crazy mood swings. Only upside is my skin was clear. I would never take this again."

For Birth Control "7/10 so far. I have been on it for 2 months, going on three. Not much weight change, I was very skinny before, so if I do gain a little here and there, I’m not mad. Regular periods, no cramps, don’t really have any extra acne than I already had. I will say my mood swings have gone crazy, 2-3 days before I’m supposed to get my period, I’m extremely depressed and anxious! That is my only complaint so far."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking this pill for a month. My boyfriend and I don’t use protection, but he always pulls out before he nuts. My period is late this month, but this is also my first time ever taking birth control and the first month of it. Google says that it’s supposed to happen, but yet, I’m so scared that I could be pregnant. It gives me such bad mood swings, and I get so mad and yell or get sad and cry about everything."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched me to Sronyx, and I took it for one month (minus the very last pill in the very last row). I had much more severe mood swings than I ever had previously. I had thoughts of hurting myself. I had to have the pharmacy make a note to NEVER switch me off my old prescription again. It’s been about a month and a half since I started taking my previous prescription again, and I still have really intense mood swings."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This is an update to my review from early June. I've been on Sronyx for about 2 months now (actually for HRT). The first 2 weeks were fine and then the fatigue, mood swings, and depression hit hard. I feel like I'm finally coming out of it, but be warned that it can be a tough adjustment for the first month or so."

For Birth Control "I started on Sronyx when I was 15 because I had bad clotting while on my period and it was very heavy. By far my favorite birth control out there made me lose almost 20 lbs within 2 months and made me feel awesome. No bad side effects and did the job, had hardly any cramps and no heavy bleeding. Then when I was 17, I got switched to Ortho Tri-Cyclen, absolutely the worst. Gained 5 lbs within my first cycle. My boobs felt tender and gave me the worst mood swings. And always had a craving. It was like I could never get full, my appetite was through the roof. Then on my first cycled period, it gave me clotting and cramps that made me not even want to move. So bad my back and lower stomach ached. So that resulted in me immediately switching back to Sronyx."

For Birth Control "Been taking this BC for a little over six months now. It's a huge upgrade from my previous BC (Aubra). Periods are always on time and short, usually about 3 or 4 days. Only downfall I find with this prescription is the mood swings. My sex drive stayed pretty stable and haven't noticed any changes in weight (although I do believe my appetite has increased). Overall, I recommend it."

For Birth Control "Sronyx was good, besides being totally emotional sometimes, angry, and the fact that I did gain about 15 lbs. The pill is great. My skin is clearing up."

For Birth Control "Finally, a birth control that doesn't give me horrible side effects like mood swings and heavy periods. I barely get periods, which for me is GREAT!"

For Birth Control "I've been taking it for a couple of weeks now, I've gotten very bad acne and mood swings like crazy. I cried over chicken noodle soup, if that tells you anything. But it may work for you, try it and see. It probably just affects everyone differently. I'm not sure if I should continue to take it or try a new pill."
