For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Not good! I've tried regular Seasonique as well as LoSeasonique, and although yes, it did get rid of my cysts after only one month, the LoSeasonique caused me to have breakthrough bleeding for almost the whole time that I took it (9 months). Some days, it was as much blood as having a period, and I even had cramps and nausea that I usually have when I have a period. With regular Seasonique, the spotting only happened for the first pack (3 months), but still made me nauseous. But all in all, LoSeasonique's side effects of being in a period-like state for 9 months straight do NOT outweigh the benefit of helping with PCOS."

For Birth Control "I am only about a week and a half into my first pack and can already feel my emotions getting out of control. I have never cried in public, but today something that would have normally made me angry actually made me burst into tears. How embarrassing. I feel like I still have PMS even though there is no 'flow'. Besides the hormonal imbalance, I love not having to worry about my period, which was extremely abnormal; rather than carrying around spare panties, I carry my little pill container."

For Birth Control "I started LoSeasonique a couple of months ago. I had a headache the first day I took it, but that went away. I have no periods, no breakthrough bleeding, and best of all, no PMS or overeating from PMS. I wish I would have started this pill years ago."

For Birth Control "After the birth of my son in June 2011, I started LoSeasonique. Before the birth of my son, I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen and loved it with no problems. I only stayed on LoSeasonique for one month due to a flow like a heavy period on an almost everyday basis. It stopped for two weeks in the second month and started again very heavily with severe abdominal pain and cramping. The only reason I wanted to try LoSeasonique was for the 'fewer periods' purposes. After trying LoSeasonique for three months (one pack), I have discontinued the use and will be going back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen!"

For Endometriosis "I was put on LoSeasonique in October of 2010 for endometriosis. I am only 20 years old, so the doctors have been trying hard to find something that will work for me and not cause lifelong effects. This pill did the trick. I have had nothing but happiness with it, it helps the pain of the endometriosis. My doctor gave me 6 months to try it (2 sample packs at once) to see if it worked. I was stupid and took it back to back, so I didn't have a period for 6 months. I did spot and bleed for that reason. The bleeding was heavy and painful, so as soon as I finished the pack, I allowed myself to have an actual period before starting a new pack. Since that mistake, I only had weight gain, and it was only 10 pounds. I love it."

For Birth Control "I was on LoSeasonique for almost a year. The first few months were great, some spotting every now and then, but nothing major. About 2 months ago, I took a pill one day late. Consequently, I have been spotting for the entire two months. My gyno tried everything, putting me on a week's worth of estrogen and then a regimen of taking multiple pills a day for a week. Nothing worked. I've been miserable and bloated and have gained a few pounds. Before this, I really liked this pill. If you take it, make sure you take it at the SAME time every single day. She said pills with this low dose of hormones are more likely to do this. I'm currently having to switch to another pill just to make the bleeding stop."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Have been taking this for about a week now and have had severe breast tenderness and almost a burning pain. Happens about 30-40 minutes after taking pills. This stopped today and now I have a migraine-so far two days. If this continues I'm done. No spotting yet. Has helped alleviate pain in my left ovary."

For Premenstrual Syndrome "This pill was to be my rescue from painful periods, but I have only enjoyed 1 month period free, and I am on my second 90-day pack! I have had my period (spotting) for 1 month straight. I am skipping the placebos, but no guarantees that the spotting will stop. I may just have to go on a monthly because the appeal of this pill is quickly losing my interest."

For Ovarian Cysts "This medicine made me have terrible uterine bleeding for 75 days in a row, accompanied by terrible uterine pain. It's been a full week since I stopped the medicines, and the bleeding and pain have both stopped. My cysts have shrunk to half their size, but I'm not sure if the cysts were ever a problem to begin with."

For Ovarian Cysts "I switched to LoSeasonique after taking LoEstrin24 for about a year because I was still getting extreme side effects from my periods (passing out, couldn't get out of bed, etc.) and stopped taking it after the first month and a half because my skin was breaking out really badly. This past month was my first month being off birth control in about 3 or 4 years, and it was horrible! I started a new pack of LoSeasonique this afternoon to see if my skin will react any differently, and if I do end up breaking out again, I will switch back to LoEstrin."

For Birth Control "I find if you were on a birth control before LoSeasonique, you will already have the hormones in your system and will have fewer side effects!"

"I'm just about finished with the first pack, and so far I've only had mild side effects. My sex drive is now completely unpredictable, and I'm super emotional, both of which are completely uncharacteristic. I'm hoping that I won't need to use these for more than a year."
