For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am on my second, three-month pack of LoSeasonique, and I am seriously contemplating stopping the birth control. My first three-month pack, around week six, I started bleeding. This lasted about a week, and I thought my body was adjusting. Since then, my face has broken out - I have never had acne problems. I am now on week four of my second cycle of pills, and I am now bleeding lightly again. I am experiencing the worst cramps I have ever had in my life. All I do is sleep, and I am still exhausted all the time. I can't even get myself to do normal activities like grocery shopping."

For Birth Control "I started taking LoSeasonique just about a year ago. Before this, I took Yaz for about 6 years. My doc recommended LoSeasonique, so I agreed to try it. The first pack was not too bad. No spotting, but I was very nauseated. On the second pack, I began spotting, and this continued for weeks at a time. Soon after, I began to notice my skin was breaking out. (I have never had acne before.) During the third pack, the breakthrough bleeding continued, as did the acne (now spread to my back and chest), also, I started having headaches on a daily basis, to the point where I could no longer function. I am now at the end of my fourth pack and have been spotting for the entire last month! Getting off soon."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for a little over a year now, and I cannot wait to switch my birth control in 2 weeks. Although I have not experienced any weight gain, acne, or emotional changes, this pill has made me spot like crazy. I would be fine for the first month of the pills, but literally, as soon as I start the second pack of the pills until I get my period, I spot. It is infuriating! I told my doctor about this problem, and she told me that you have to take this pill at the exact same time every day. No being 10, 20, 30 minutes late because otherwise, you spot. I honestly thought I did a darn good job of taking my pill on time, and yet I still experience bleeding."

For Endometriosis "I realize that everyone is different. I have never written a review for a medicine before, but felt compelled to share my experience with LoSeasonique. I found it helpful to read reviews from women who had similar experiences. I only lasted six weeks on this pill. Because space is limited, I will just list the symptoms: horrible hair loss, severe acne (I'm 42 and had clear skin), depression and anger, and lastly, very heavy bleeding. I ended up weak and tired from all the blood loss. It was dark blood, with increasing clots. After six weeks, I had to stop. After four days, the heavy bleeding subsided. This pill may work for some, but if you had similar side effects, you are not alone."

For Birth Control "I am on my first pack, and I have to say I am so happy I changed from Loestrin 24 (I actually still had 7 days left). I have had light spotting for the first few days, and that's it. I think really sticking to the same time every day is the key to limiting side effects, like within the hour every day for real. Some breakouts on my chest and a little on my face, but that normally happens anytime. I changed pills. I think I have tried everything that is out there, and this is the best."

For Birth Control "I'm not completely done with the first month, and I got a period. It's longer than my usual periods and heavier. I thought it was gone, and then it came back. I have noticed some change in my skin being dry and having some acne problems, which I've never had before. What's the point of being on birth control if you can't have sex because of all this period business."

For Ovarian Cysts "So far, so good on this medicine. I have tried just about every birth control pill out there. The only (and most annoying) side effects I have had so far are breaking out really bad. There are waves of breakouts (mostly on my chin) that I have never had before. I am hoping that will subside. Also, I have been more easily emotional about things. Like if something is sad, I am more likely to cry about it than I would before. Hope this helps people out there wanting to try this. Beware of any acne that may arise!"

For Birth Control "After about a week on this birth control, I started to get awful acne and had to stop taking it after two weeks. According to my doctor, a side effect for some people is a worsening complexion. It also made it very difficult to sleep and wake up in the morning. All of these side effects stopped a few days after I was taken off the pills."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I just started my second pack, and I have been on my period for the last 3 weeks. At first, it was just some spotting. Then it turned into a heavy period. I started experiencing moderate acne immediately, and my mood swings are through the roof."

For Birth Control "I started taking LoSeasonique about 3 weeks ago. Since I've started taking it, I've experienced many negative side effects, such as cramping, gaining 10 lbs, intense mood swings where I will cry for no reason, get angry extremely easily, and a significant increase in acne. I will continue to take this medication for the next 3 months and see if things will change once the medication has been in my system for long enough. But like they say, this pill is different for everyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was taking Seasonique, and my doctor switched me over to LoSeasonique because I was still having periods that lasted 7-8 days. I have been on LoSeasonique for 7 weeks now and have been bleeding off and on since I started. My face has broken out on several occasions. This is really getting old, and I am going to stop this birth control and switch back to just Seasonique."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this for a little over a month now. Not satisfied yet. I have had a lot of spotting happening, I get cramps (of which was something I was trying to not get), which still causes me to take my pain medication. I also have had the worst acne I have ever had in my whole life. I have never had it this badly. If after 3 months nothing has changed, I will be done with this product and onto another. I have a wedding in a week and am sad to say this pill caused my skin to look like this. So much for flawless skin on my day and honeymoon."

For Birth Control "I have taken LoSeasonique for 9 months now (3 packs). At first, it was great and I was all excited about 1 period every 3 months. I was wrong. This was my first birth control ever! At first, I had mood swings, I'd be fine, then the next thing I'm angry, then I'm crying over something stupid. I can handle the mood swings, but the spotting was horrible. I would get my bleeding into the 5th week mark, and then it would go away for a few days, then come back and wouldn't stop until maybe 3 days of the sugar pills. My skin had cleared up, but now when I get pimples, they scar. Oh, and the sex life was gone because of the bleeding. I stopped taking it just today, and I can already feel my hormones getting crazy."

For Birth Control "My OBGYN switched me to this pill in hopes to reduce my menstrual migraines I suffer with every month. While I have not had any migraines, I have been bleeding for 3 weeks straight, have a horrible outbreak of acne, and very bad nausea since starting this medication two months ago. At this point, I think I'd rather live with the monthly migraine than be bleeding all the time and look like I have chickenpox on my face."

For Birth Control "I have the biggest, reddest, and most painful pimples I have ever had in my life. I even have a cyst on the side of my nose. This all started about 1 week after starting this birth control, and it has just gotten worse during the second week. I am calling my gyno and going back on Yaz. It is the only birth control that I have ever taken that has made my complexion perfect. Your experience may be different, but I am 23 years old, and I am completely embarrassed to leave my condo because my skin is so awful."

For Ovarian Cysts "I switched to LoSeasonique after taking LoEstrin24 for about a year because I was still getting extreme side effects from my periods (passing out, couldn't get out of bed, etc.) and stopped taking it after the first month and a half because my skin was breaking out really badly. This past month was my first month being off birth control in about 3 or 4 years, and it was horrible! I started a new pack of LoSeasonique this afternoon to see if my skin will react any differently, and if I do end up breaking out again, I will switch back to LoEstrin."

For Birth Control "I was put on this pill to help out with my crazy emotions that I get about a week before my period. I am almost done with my first 3-month dose, and I have found that I have a big increase in my appetite. I have been experiencing more severe migraines, and I get dizzy/lightheaded for a couple of minutes quite often. My skin has been breaking out with little pimples that are coverable, but I can feel them and have never been there before. I have been on a variety of pills, and this one has seemed to give me the most side effects. Since I have been on this pill, I find myself getting extremely emotional about little things."
