For Premenstrual Syndrome "I have been on birth control pills for 26 years and switched to LoSeasonique to help with PMS that gets worse as I get older. Halfway through the first 3-month pack, I stopped taking it because of hair loss, headaches, breast tenderness, fatigue, and weight gain."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for a little over a year now, and I cannot wait to switch my birth control in 2 weeks. Although I have not experienced any weight gain, acne, or emotional changes, this pill has made me spot like crazy. I would be fine for the first month of the pills, but literally, as soon as I start the second pack of the pills until I get my period, I spot. It is infuriating! I told my doctor about this problem, and she told me that you have to take this pill at the exact same time every day. No being 10, 20, 30 minutes late because otherwise, you spot. I honestly thought I did a darn good job of taking my pill on time, and yet I still experience bleeding."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking LoSeasonique for 6 1/2 weeks, thought I was going to really like it but started my period 7 days ago with cramps and all, and it is still going on. I have a call in to my doctor, just waiting for a phone call. I am seriously thinking about giving it up as it was only to alleviate PMS symptoms, as I am done having kids, and my periods before were only 3 days, so I would rather have 3 days with severe cramps than non-stop spotting or period, as I would call it. Oh, and I have also gained weight from it, not much, but it has only been 6 weeks."

For Birth Control "I have taken LoSeasonique for over 5 years. It has helped with migraines (no hormone fluctuations) and did not have weight gain until my insurance tried to get me to take the GENERIC version. Not the same, hence bioequivalent. Now, no pharmacies have the brand name on the shelf, nor can they order it. Oh no!"

For Birth Control "I have read so many comments on this birth control. I was on Seasonique (doctor recommended for endometriosis) before LoSeasonique, because when I went to my doctor's office and asked for samples (due to insurance changes), they were out of Seasonique and only had LoSeasonique. I asked the nurse if they were any different in dosage (wondering if I'd have more chances at getting pregnant), and she said they were about the same. LoSeasonique is my 5th pack already... and well, I can say that it's helped me a lot when it comes to preventing pregnancy. Every 3 months, I have had a super light period for over a year now. I have never really broken out, only with stress... I just hate that I gained weight, have normally low-grade fevers, and can't sleep at night."

"I love it! I have been on it for two years and have only had two periods, both of which pantyliners were more than enough! No mood swings, no bloating, no cramping, and no weight gain. It does not get any better than this, and I have tried it all (shots, rings, IUDs, and other pills)."

"I've been on LoSeasonique for about a year and a half. I love it. I had no major weight gain (that I can tell), hair is still thick, and when I do have a period, it's very light and cramping is less severe. However, my body seems determined to have a monthly period, so occasionally I have to stop for a week and allow my body to have a period to stop the spotting. I highly recommend it, however, everyone's body reacts differently to birth control, so make sure you ask your doctor before making your decision. Hope this helps."

"I really like this birth control, which is a surprise after reading all the negative reviews. I just finished the first 3-month pack. I had absolutely no breakthrough bleeding, no crazy weight gain, and no other terrible side effects. It made me a little sick to my stomach the first week, and that is all I have noticed. I would highly recommend this medicine to anyone who doesn't need a large dose of estrogen to keep breakthrough bleeding from happening."

For Endometriosis "I was put on LoSeasonique in October of 2010 for endometriosis. I am only 20 years old, so the doctors have been trying hard to find something that will work for me and not cause lifelong effects. This pill did the trick. I have had nothing but happiness with it, it helps the pain of the endometriosis. My doctor gave me 6 months to try it (2 sample packs at once) to see if it worked. I was stupid and took it back to back, so I didn't have a period for 6 months. I did spot and bleed for that reason. The bleeding was heavy and painful, so as soon as I finished the pack, I allowed myself to have an actual period before starting a new pack. Since that mistake, I only had weight gain, and it was only 10 pounds. I love it."

For Birth Control "I was on LoSeasonique for almost a year. The first few months were great, some spotting every now and then, but nothing major. About 2 months ago, I took a pill one day late. Consequently, I have been spotting for the entire two months. My gyno tried everything, putting me on a week's worth of estrogen and then a regimen of taking multiple pills a day for a week. Nothing worked. I've been miserable and bloated and have gained a few pounds. Before this, I really liked this pill. If you take it, make sure you take it at the SAME time every single day. She said pills with this low dose of hormones are more likely to do this. I'm currently having to switch to another pill just to make the bleeding stop."

For Endometriosis "I've been on LoSeasonique for 2 sets (6 months). I've seen no weight gain, no changes in my skin, and my hair is as thick as ever. I like it, I went off of LoEstrin because I had bad cramps that got worse when I went off it for a year and pelvic pain (caused by cysts). So, this birth control certainly assisted with alleviating these issues. It's helpful, though, to exercise regularly, I think. I've had spotting, but it's nothing compared to my normal heavy periods. I am questioning what other benefits this pill may hold over others."
