For Birth Control "This is effective in terms of keeping me from getting pregnant. I was a little upset my pharmacy gave me something new without telling me, but I tried it anyways. My previous bc didn't make me lose weight or gain weight. Made it constant unless I worked out it. This new bc I've been taking for three months now made me gain back weight that took me a long time to lose. I'm pretty upset. It makes me act out and more depressed than I am on random times. I'm more upset about it making me gain weight. I also break out a little more than usual. I already have bad acne, but I noticed I get it more often now. Either than that. No baby. No other side effects I noticed. I will be asking my pharmacy to change my bc when I am done with my last one."

For Birth Control "First, I have to say this birth control is very effective for what it is intended. My period is very regular; I always know the day it will come. After deciding with my then-boyfriend to have unprotected sex, it also never failed me. However, those are the only two good things I experienced. I was nauseous, anxious, and at times very depressed while on Falmina. Nausea was the worst symptom for me and heightened after drinking or not eating enough. At times, I'd be vomiting for hours straight. I can't be happier to be off this drug after what I've experienced."

For Birth Control "I've literally had the worst experience with this pill. I had been taking another birth control that got replaced by my pharmacy with this pill, however this one had a lot of side effects I had never experienced. I started experiencing major headaches, getting acne, becoming extremely depression, no sex drive at all, increased anxiety, and I was just overall moody and irritated at everything. I wish they would've never switched me to this generic version of the drug because this is way worse. I have never experienced such a terrible medicine. I do not recommend it."

For Birth Control "I'm 19, and I started taking this pill because I was sick of passing out from painful cramps and I had started having sex with my boyfriend like 8 months before and I was always afraid I'd get pregnant. This pill is quite effective, my cramps have most certainly subsided and I feel safe and comfortable having sex with my boyfriend. There is just one problem though: I have become very hysterical in situations where I should usually be more calm and collected. Lately when I get in arguments with my boyfriend over very little/petty things that used to not bug me as much, I end up screaming and sobbing hysterically. Also, about a week ago I stubbed my finger and reacted as though I had been stabbed. I screamed and cried for 30 mins."

For Birth Control "Terrible experience. Had sore nipples, tightness in chest; abnormal bleeding as well as loss of sex drive. Was on this for almost 6 months and side effects did NOT subside"

For Birth Control "I started on this birth control 3 months ago and it has given me awful mood swings, and intense mood feelings. It made me feel depressed and then I'd switch to feeling great. Also, it gave me blood clots in my lungs. Don't take this birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed Falmina bc I was having too many heavy periods and was anemic, and also because I always got bad cramps and headaches. The first month was fine but the second month it seemed to just stop working, I had horrible cramps, heavy bleeding and my hemoglobin (iron) levels have dropped. I'm constantly tired, and have lost all sense of self motivation. Also I'm getting significantly more breakouts than I ever have before."

For Birth Control "Okay so I just wanted to update. This pill is killing my face. I literally have over 30 pimples on my face that are huge, red, cystic, and definitely 100% because of this pill. I never had acne like this. Also IT GAVE ME GINGIVITIS. I literally have GUM issues because this pill is so wacked out. I am a very mellow person and recently I have been having the worst anxiety and it's definitely because of this. Today was my last pill so hopefully everything will start to go back to normal."

For Birth Control "I have only been on Falmina for about 2 months but I'm switching soon due to the ridiculous amount of cystic acne it has caused. I'm prone to acne anyway, but this put it through the roof. I never got chin or cheek acne until this product. The up side it besides that I have no other side effects. My mood is good, no nausea or headaches, and I think it's slowed my hair growth. Most of the problems I've heard about this birth control have to do with skin so if you're not acne prone then I would recommend it."

For Birth Control "I'm 18 years old and I started this birth control 3 months ago. I went on birth control specifically for my acne and my irregular periods. This birth control did the exact opposite of helping my acne. In the beginning I broke out extremely on my forehead and hair line. They aren't even pimples just huge bumps and you can't do anything about. It is my 3rd month taking it and I'm still breaking out. I absolutely do not recommend this birth control for the use of acne. However, this did make my period very consistent, extremely light, and barely any cramps"

For Birth Control "I was taking another birth control pill for a couple years and never had any side effects from it. Then, a couple weeks ago I went to get a refill and the pharmacy said that the pill I was taking had been replaced by Falmina. They said it had the same ingredients as the last pill I had been taking. The first week of taking this new pill, I bought everything was normal, then within the second week I started getting really angry and sad, etc. I also started spotting, which I never did between periods before. I've even been extremely tired and haven't had any energy in the past couple weeks. I was not expecting any of these side effects since I thought there was not a difference in medication, but the crazy mood swings and tiredness terrible."

For Birth Control "I switched BC because I was worried about being on depo for 8 years. First I switched to the arm implant and delt with the month long bleeding and hormonal changes for almost a year before finally being put on falmina. Yes, I did bleed 7+ days the first placebo week but by the second I was already seeing improvement. Now this also happened to corrolate with me finally conquering my decade long opiate addiction so I'm not sure how much of my mood swings were attributed to that or the BC but the mood swings were intense. Yes, I got super anxious and depressed but when I found something that made me happy it felt as if the happiness permeated my entire being. Sexually active with my man everyday for a year with no protection, still no baby"

For Birth Control "In my experience this has worked wonderfully! I have no problems with weight, if anything I feel like it helps me loose weight, I've had no problems just the usual symptoms when your first start taking it. This birth control is really effective. If any accidents happen you'll be fine, there's plenty of times I thought I would get pregnant but it worked and my period came. I really have nothing bad to say and I'll continue to take it, even if u don't take it at exactly 9:00pm for an example, and u take it a little later you'll be fine just as long as you take one each day. Hope this helped, I recommend (:"

For Birth Control "My gyn put me on Aviane... So I was taking that for only a month, and for my second month I had switched to a different pharmacy location and they didn't have Aviane but instead they gave me Falmina stating it generic for Aviane. My first month on it, I experienced no side effects which kinda scared me cause I thought it wasn't working. But now I'm in my second month and I thought I continued to be side effect free until I've become crazy depressed, angry, irrational, anxiety, and I blamed it all on the fact that it is the end of my semester so I have a ton of finals and stuff to worry about. But as I was just taking my BC I decided to check the reviews just because... and almost everyone is experiencing these same side effects."

For Birth Control "I have had a large variety of problems with birth control. My first bc, Tri Linyah, depressed me to no extent, gave me mega cramps, heavy periods and made me feel sick everyday. I switched to Falmina after being on that for 6 months and it was amazing how normal I felt again. My mood swings were under control and I could fully function theough my day without have to feel ill. I recently have been switched to Orsythia and, even though it's only been a month on it, I can tell it's leading right to depression. I'm switching back to Falmina immediately. I wanted to share my experience because Falmina was a god send for me and I wanted to give more insight than the negative reviews gave. Everyone responds differently. Find what works for you :)"

For Birth Control "I HATE this Birth Control! I was on a different kind that my body finally adjusted to when all of a sudden the pharmacy I went to switched me to this without any warning. I was upset! They claimed that it has the same ingredients. I'm almost In my 3rd month of taking it and I get dizzy, weak, tired and nauseous. I hate it so much! I also feel irritated and a lot of anxiety. I never had these side affects. I will be getting off of this. It's horrible and makes life miserable."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control for about 4 months. While I did not get pregnant, I got a side effect that I've never gotten with any other type of birth control. I got a condition called melasma or cholasma. It is just a hyperpigmentation of your skin. Mine is located on my forehead and upper lip. It is so horrible, I look like I have a mustache. I've been a few different birth controls for about 9 years and switched for various reasons but I have never experienced anything like this. My GYN told me this was not a listed side effect of this medication so she was surprised. But it happened to me so I just want to prevent it from happening to others. It's extremely embarrassing and takes months to go away."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for a little over 3 months and this pill made my life hell! The only good thing about this pill is I didn't get pregnant, but this pill made me extremely depressed and very irritable. The last month I was on the pill I had my period for 3 weeks and it was still continuing when I switched to my new birth control, and the month before I had my period or 10 days. I would not recommend this birth control to anyone!"

For Endometriosis "PROS: What I love about Falmina: I have no cramps, no spotting between periods, no heavy bleeding. Only 3 days of very light bleeding. last day I only wear a pantie liner. CON: As I was reading AS36 experience, I thought I was reading my own. Gained about 20lbs in less than 6 months while taking the Falmina. From a size 2-4 to 6, bra size 34B to 38D (hubby loves it). I've become very anxious and depressed. I got so crazy and suicidal, I had to see a Psy. he put me on depression meds (which maybe contribute to my weight gain). I remember that I experienced the emotional/mental issues while taking Yaz, that's why I checked drugs.com. And bingo..."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for over 2 months now, and good news I have not got pregnant (me and my partner stopped using the withdrawl method and condoms). But that is the only thing I like about this pill. The first month I was on the pill I was fine I had no complications, but right after I started my second pack I got my first period and it lasted 10 days and it was heavy and crampy everyday. (usually it was only heavy and crampy the first day and usually it was only 5 days). I then started getting awful mood swings where i was angry and upset all the time. I am going to switch my pill the end of the 3 months."

For Birth Control "I switched to this birth control after being on Larin Fe, which made me feel completely crazy. I have been on this pill for 6 months and I did really like it. I used to have extremely heavy periods with horrendous cramps and since going on this my periods are much lighter, shorter & typically no cramps at all. The only negative is that I have breast tenderness pretty much the entire month. It only ever stops during placebo week. Lately though I have felt extremely anxious & I hope this pill won't turn out like Larin Fe where I felt so crazy and anxious 24/7!! I haven't gotten pregnant on it either so that is a major plus."

For Birth Control "Beware of this birth control!! I've been on them for the past 3 months. They are effective as to preventing pregnancy, but the side effects were so not worth it. For the past 3 months I had absolutely no energy and no motivation. I fell into depression and actually went to a psychiatrist and was prescribed anti-depression/anti-anxiety meds!!! I had no idea that the birth control was causing all of these issues until I have done my research. I got off them immediately and already feel so much better. Not to mention, I gained 15 pounds (that was probably a combination of hormones and the fact I didn't feel motivated to actually exercise). There are many other birth control options on the market that are so much better. Pass on this one!!!"

For Birth Control "I took this pill for 3 weeks, then entered the placebo week. It has caused MASSIVE hair loss for me. There is nothing to be done but wait for it to leave my bloodstream. I have long hair that is coming out in ropes and bunches. I would never recommend this to a friend. I am devistated with the results of the side effects."

For Birth Control "I spotted every day for the first two weeks on Falmina. And then it happened-I began to hemorrhage. This went on for 24 hours. Clots the size of golf balls began falling out of me every hour. I had to create makeshift diapers with my towels. I had to admit myself into express care early Saturday morning after a full night of no sleep due to such heavy bleeding. I have given birth and thought there was a lot of bleeding afterward. That was nothing compared to this. They gave me a pregnancy test in case it was a miscarriage, but it wasn't. It was just a nightmarish side effect of the birth control. They had to put me on something to stop the bleeding. It was a horrible experience and one I hope none of you has to endure."

For Birth Control "I've been taking 3 packets, then getting a period (on purpose, because of possible endo). I usually bleed a little for a week or two during the second pack and will definitely bleed on the third. My doctor told me it would be great to not have to buy so many pads having less periods - hah! My biggest complaint aside from that is that the packet itself is confusing. The foil has distracting writing all over it. The part where the days are is WHITE on WHITE. I didn't think all this would bother me, I'd just keep going across taking the pills, but I've already messed up twice... If a company wants you to not get pregnant so you can keep taking their product, don't you think they'd improve the design?"
