For Premenstrual Syndrome "I’m starting my 3rd month on this pill and am using it to treat PMDD. I take the pills continuously, only the active ones. The first two weeks I had a few mood swings (nothing like PMDD, so manageable), chills, and nausea rarely. I used to get menstrual migraines every month and still do, but am hoping those go away as my body adjusts. I’ve been spotting for 2-3 weeks and hope that will go away too. Most importantly, I haven’t had PMDD in two months!! This is life-changing, and the side effects of spotting and one pimple here and there are 100% worth it to me."

For Birth Control "When I came home from college, my pharmacy didn’t carry Aubra and switched me to “generic” Falmina, and I HATE it. It made me gain an incredible amount of weight. My periods are completely out of whack; some months it will come a week early, some will be a few days early, and others will be when it’s supposed to be. When I get my periods, I never know how heavy they are going to be, and some months they still give me awful cramps. My breasts are tender for all weeks of the month other than the week right after the placebo pill. I get worried that I’m pregnant (which Falmina has been good at preventing) because my symptoms, such as breast tenderness and random spotting between placebo pills, are so bad. I get dizzy and nauseous, have had no motivation, have zero sex drive, and have been prescribed an anti-depressant medication since I’ve been on Falmina. I have been on Falmina for 9 months and will be switching."

For Birth Control "First, I have to say this birth control is very effective for what it is intended. My period is very regular; I always know the day it will come. After deciding with my then-boyfriend to have unprotected sex, it also never failed me. However, those are the only two good things I experienced. I was nauseous, anxious, and at times very depressed while on Falmina. Nausea was the worst symptom for me and heightened after drinking or not eating enough. At times, I'd be vomiting for hours straight. I can't be happier to be off this drug after what I've experienced."

For Birth Control "READ THIS PLEASE!! I was taking Falmina for only one month. On my last week of almost being done with the first pack, I started getting panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. I would cry for anything and started getting so much nausea, I couldn't even eat at all, only drink water!! It's the most horrible symptoms I have ever experienced with birth control. I couldn't even be around my kids. I read this site and stories and didn't think it would happen to me because I tried different birth control, and this never happened!!"

For Birth Control "I was started out on Falmina to regulate my period, but during the three months it hasn't done so very well. Meanwhile, the side effects are horrible. The nausea is seriously so terrible, I’m miserable, and I barely eat throughout the day because I’m so nauseous. Not only do I feel the urge to puke 24/7, I have the worst mood swings that I’ve never had with other birth control pills. Half of the time I’m either really angry or balling my eyes out and starting stupid fights. It’s awful, and while it does prevent pregnancy, I don't think the side effects are worth it."

For Birth Control "First, I started off with Aviane and switched to Falmina, which, from what I was told, is the generic brand. Honestly, I had the most trouble with Aviane. I would get nausea, very emotional, low sex drive, and thick discharge. Never had any problems with spotting or irregular periods. Then when I started the Falmina, all basically was taken down a huge notch and the thick discharge went away. I like that I know the exact day I will start my period, it only lasts for about 4-5 days, also very light, and usually, I am not emotionally bothered. Occasionally, I can be irrational and a bit of a crybaby, although, it wasn't as intense as when I was on Aviane. The only problem that I've had is my muscles can get very tender after work or exercise."

For Birth Control "I hate this birth control! I was on a different kind that my body finally adjusted to when all of a sudden the pharmacy I went to switched me to this without any warning. I was upset! They claimed that it has the same ingredients. I'm almost in my third month of taking it and I get dizzy, weak, tired, and nauseous. I hate it so much! I also feel irritated and a lot of anxiety. I never had these side effects. I will be getting off of this. It's horrible and makes life miserable."

For Birth Control "I had the Nexplanon implant for 3 years, got it taken out, and my Dr. started me on the Falmina birth control. I've been taking it for two weeks now, and it's made me so sick, constantly throwing up. Chills. Sweats. Diarrhea. The works. I still haven't had my period either. I'm still on the fence about it."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Falmina for about 5 months now, and before this, I was on Tri-Linyah. I switched over to Falmina because Tri-Linyah constantly made me nauseous and physically sick. Falmina has not made me feel like that, and my period is really light. I have gained some weight while being on it, but I’m also 19 and don’t eat the healthiest because my boyfriend has been cooking for me. My boyfriend and I are sexually active and don’t use condoms or the morning-after pill, and I haven’t had any pregnancy scares, and I’m super paranoid about that all the time. I would recommend this birth control, but I know everyone reacts differently."

For Birth Control "I have only been on Falmina for about 2 months, but I'm switching soon due to the ridiculous amount of cystic acne it has caused. I'm prone to acne anyway, but this put it through the roof. I never got chin or cheek acne until this product. The upside is besides that, I have no other side effects. My mood is good, no nausea or headaches, and I think it's slowed my hair growth. Most of the problems I've heard about this birth control have to do with skin, so if you're not acne prone, then I would recommend it."

For Birth Control "When I first started Falmina in August 2021, I had constant nausea and heavy bleeding for a couple of weeks. I called my doctor, and she told me to stick with it for three months as a trial. I was miserable, but I did it anyway. During the three months, I experienced constant mood swings. I cried easily. I got angry for little to no reason. I became very anxious about everything. The pros of this pill for me are that I never got pregnant and I knew when I was going to have the withdrawal bleed. The cons of this pill for me are the mood swings, anxiety, depression, and weight gain. I have never had so many panic attacks in my life as I have had in these months from August 2021 to January 2022."

For Ovarian Cysts "This BC in only one month has given me the worst experience. I’m constantly nauseous and dizzy. Have gained eight pounds even though I have had loss of appetite and have been retaining water like crazy, my ankles are swollen so bad. Have always had bad anxiety, but it has become crippling, and I have experienced a lot of dark thoughts and am constantly sad. This medicine is horrible, and I will never take it again."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've only been on Falmina for 3 months, and I'm on the fence about it. I'm having abnormal periods. They last almost two weeks now. My period comes the last week of the active pills and will last almost all 14 days. Acne hasn't been that bad so far, but the nausea is pretty terrible. The doctor said to give it at least 6 months, so we will see."
