For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for a month now. My experience with this birth control was really great. I didn't know what to expect on this pill, but I ended up having a great experience. I had little to no nausea, and I only got a tiny bit emotional the week of my period. I love being on this pill. It eased my cramps a lot and doesn't make me break out. I will continue to use this birth control."

For Birth Control "I’d been on it for a couple of months and had no problem. Then I started it again for a month. It’s way different. I never felt so many mood swings in such little time. Literally making me cry and just different. People notice it as well, and I’ve never had this problem."

For Birth Control "As someone who has always struggled with severe hormonal acne that I’ve been able to tame with good skincare, diet, exercise, etc., this helped so much in balancing my hormones and preventing hormonal breakouts. I didn’t gain any weight, but my breasts did get bigger and firmer. I used to get some bad cramps, but I haven’t had any since starting Aubra, and my period is so much lighter now and was only about 4 days. Most importantly, I haven’t gotten pregnant. I got a few headaches when I first started and some mood swings, but it wasn’t anything crazy, so I’d say the side effects for me have been very minimal."

For Birth Control "I was never on any BC and decided to, and they gave me Aubra. The first couple of months I’d say were fine, then I started getting really bad mood swings. Mostly, it just makes me a really angry person. My poor boyfriend, haha. My period was also normal for the first couple of months, then I just started bleeding nonstop, even if it was light. I also have gained weight, and I feel like no matter what I eat, I'm still hungry. The only good thing I will say about this birth control is no babies, and my skin is really clear."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for almost a year, I have noticed my behavior towards my relationship. I tend to get emotional for no reason, cry all the time. My mood swings switch a lot, I lost my personality. I push people away and want to be alone. I have noticed I will get my period in the middle of the month when I’m not on my sugar week. I get bad cramps, I am now starting to gain 10 pounds more than what I weighed a year ago. I’m going to the doctor today and hope to get a different brand."

For Birth Control "First birth control pill. Got a little acne before I was on it and get a little still. Plan on changing to a different BC though because it makes me extremely emotional and depressed. I messed up and forgot to take it for three days, and my period was affected, but once I got back on track and stayed on track, my periods were regular. Seemed to lose weight, but I still don't know if that's because of the birth control."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for three months. This isn't the first birth control I've ever been on. I haven't had any negative experiences with Aubra, just the same effects you would have when you're first starting birth control. No weight gain, no weird mood swings."

For Birth Control "I took this for a while. I skipped my period on this, but I started bleeding after a couple of months for more than a month of bleeding. I stopped taking it. Started it again, and I’ve had no complaints. The first week was rough since my body was getting used to it. I’m not good with birth control, but this one is the best one I’ve taken. I have had no weight gain, no headaches (I have frequent migraines usually). I think it helped so much with that. Mood swings stayed the same. If you’re thinking about taking this birth control, I’d say don’t skip your period with it."

For Birth Control "My experience when I first started taking the pill, I wasn't sure it was right for me because it was affecting my mood completely. Everything I felt was amplified: for example, if I was mad, I would be extremely pissed off and didn't want to deal with anyone. But after the initial two weeks passed, I started feeling better, no huge mood swings, and I don't really feel any of the other side effects either, which I'm happy about."

For Birth Control "Pros - didn't get pregnant, sex drive was super high, didn't break out, period was so much lighter (which is why I wanted to take birth control), no spotting. Cons - (all after 4 months of using Aubra) felt depressed (I've never experienced anything this bad, never wanted to get out of bed, got upset over everything and cried so much, which isn't like me), loss of appetite (lost over 10 lbs because I was never hungry and when I did eat, I was full after a bite), had mood swings (would get mad over the smallest things). It's been months since I've stopped taking it, and I still haven't gotten my period and I still feel depressed."

For Birth Control "I've been on it for almost 3 years. Mood swings were horrible at first, then got manageable. Started developing horrible acne, which I have never had before, and I know it's from the pill :( it comes on a week before my period every month and lasts 2 weeks. Hoping to switch and find something better for me."

For Birth Control "Pretty good so far. On month three. First month, I was very emotional and felt sick. Second and third feel completely fine. Periods are short for me (I have always had 3-day periods) and not heavy. Still not pregnant, so that's great. Skin is fine, do get 2 or 3 zits but very tiny. No weight gain either."

For Birth Control "I didn't get pregnant. That was the only positive on this pill: bad (the worst I've ever had) mood swings, no sex drive, spotting, and gaining weight to name a few. The first month was fine, the next few were awful to the point I was having mood swings and crying pretty well daily. Off it now and back to normal, a shame because for the first little while I thought it was good :("

For Birth Control "Well, I've been on this birth control pill for about a year now. When I first started this pill, I broke out really bad. Acne was horrible! My stomach hurt so bad from cramping. I felt nauseous a lot. About two weeks after starting the pill, my symptoms got better. Everything was normal. My cycle was lighter. Cleared acne. The only time I would get acne was close to my monthly cycle. The pill does work against pregnancy, which is great, but the emotions and weight gain are the bad parts about the pill. Within this year of being on this pill, I packed on at least 25 pounds. I'm thinking about switching off birth control completely, though. I'm always ready to cry about everything!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for a year and a couple of months now. Before I took the pill, I rode the train every day to work and school with no problems. Now I get sick and nauseous every time. I get very emotional about the simplest things. I cried on the train once because I got off at the wrong stop. On top of that, my period lasts 8 days, whereas they were lasting 3-5. I have the same amount of cramps. Breasts are very tender 2 days before my period. Acne seems like it's never going away. Weight gain. Bloating of stomach, kind of. I want to change pills but don't know what to switch to."

For Birth Control "I began taking Aubra five months ago. For the first three weeks, I suffered from constant nausea, severe headaches, shortness of breath, IBS-like symptoms, emotional instability, and I felt extremely lethargic. After those three weeks, those symptoms disappeared. However, now five months in, I have absolutely no sex drive, my last period lasted 13 days, and I have been in a depressed-like rut for about two months. On the bright side, my boobs got bigger, I have not gained any weight, and my acne has decreased. Since these symptoms are much better than the alternative (getting pregnant), I have decided to continue taking the pill. Once my prescription expires, though, I believe I will be switching to another brand."

For Birth Control "Ever since I started taking this pill, my acne has only gotten worse. I have not experienced any mood swings, weight gain, or weight loss. I have always had an irregular cycle, but this pill helped me regulate it."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill going on six months, and the mood swings have been so intense lately. This was the first ever birth control I had been on, and at first, I was happy I didn’t have to worry about pregnancy. However, quickly I began to notice how this pill began taking a toll on my own well-being/confidence, and most importantly, my relationship. Before, I would only really argue with him once a month when PMS’ing, and soon it was every single day. I hated it and would cry every single time, and I knew it was affecting us. I wish I had stopped sooner, as our five-year relationship is/was really at risk. I do not recommend."
