For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra for 3 months now. Everything was going well until I decided I wanted to skip a period by skipping the sugar pills and going straight into a new pack. Instead, I ended up with a light period for 2 weeks and acne around my mouth and chin. I have never had acne my entire life until I got on the birth control. I called Planned Parenthood, where I got prescribed it, and they said it's normal and acne may last 3 months! I've decided today to get off of it, my face hurts from this acne, lol, and I do not recommend!"

For Birth Control "Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this pill. I read all the terrible reviews and still went for it. I was previously on Microgestion for 6 months, it did me wonderful. When it came time to get my new packs, Planned Parenthood supposedly didn't carry it anymore. I was told Aubra was the exact same thing and wouldn't affect me differently. What a lie that was. Two weeks into my pack and I got my period again for the month. Third week and I'm having terrible cramps accompanied by more bleeding. My appetite has changed, I'm not eating much. Grateful I haven't experienced acne, mood changes, nausea, or headaches. But don't even want to chance it. Contemplating if I should throw out the pack or finish and just drop. DON'T RECOMMEND!!"

For Birth Control "I have only been on it for 2 weeks, and already I am ready to get off the pill ASAP. Already, I've had bad mood swings, gained weight, and also I'm currently experiencing the worst acne I've ever had. My acne is so bad it hurts my face so much. This is the first birth control I have ever taken. I do not plan on continuing this contraception, nor would I recommend it to anyone."

For Birth Control "Medication made me depressed easily over nothing, never was one for mood swings. Also, it was a constant struggle to stay awake. Period. Went from super tampons to ultra tampons, acne for the first time in my life after I decided to get off of it. And worst of all, it made sexual sensitivity numb to any stimulation. So glad to be off of this garbage."

For Birth Control "This birth control is alright but not what I’m looking for. It definitely didn’t help my acne, and I think it made it worse. It made my boobs tender the first month, and I never gained weight. I think I’m going to switch..."

For Birth Control "I am very happy with Aubra. At first, I experienced terrible migraines for the first few weeks, but afterwards, they went away. Similarly, with acne, I had a flare the first few weeks I used it, but afterwards, my acne has severely improved, and I've had a clear face since. Sometimes, around the time of my 'period,' I get a few blemishes, but nothing serious. To be fair, though, I never had bad acne to begin with. For the main reason, in terms of birth control, I haven't gotten pregnant, which is the best part! In addition, my cramps and periods are a lot shorter and less severe. I was afraid to try this, but overall, I would highly recommend!"

For Birth Control "I'm 35 years old with 4 kids. I got Aubra birth control pills from Planned Parenthood. The first week was fantastic, but in my second week, I noticed some acne or rashes on my forehead. By the end of the second week, it spread all over my face and chest."

For Birth Control "I have NEVER had a negative reaction to birth control pills. I've never gained weight, felt bloated, had acne, or ANYTHING until taking Aubra. Over the last 6 years, I've tried at least 7 different pills, and this is by far the worst. Yes, it keeps me from getting pregnant and keeps me from having a period. However, since taking it, it seems like I have developed IBS. It is NOT agreeing with my body. I constantly have to go to the bathroom and get woken up at 2 am with that burning stomach pain before I'm forced to rush to the toilet. I've gained a little weight, but my belly is so bloated like I'm 4 months prego. Lastly, my face has broken out. I've always loved BC pills, but this brand is terrible!! Hope you guys have better luck with Aubra."

For Birth Control "The first month was awful, a lot of spotting that sometimes required a tampon. My sex drive stayed the same. Second month, I changed the time I took the pill in the morning. Sex drive the same, no weight gain, but horrible acne. I hadn't had acne since junior year of high school, and now my forehead is covered, and I've had acne on my cheeks and jaw (which I have never had in my teen years). I'm hoping my body regulates soon in the third month because everything else is good."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Aubra for about 6-7 months now, and I have had no major side effects. The only thing I can really complain about is before, when I got my period, I would never get cramps. Now, when I do have it, I get cramps, but they are very minor. I had little to no acne before taking it, and I have noticed I only get a few pimples here and there. My sex drive has not changed at all, still pretty good. Mood swings are a bit of a problem to where I will get upset with my boyfriend for not replying in a timely manner over dumb stuff I get upset. And no weight gain at all. But other than that, Aubra has gotten me on a regular monthly period, before, I only had it maybe 3 times a year."

For Birth Control "Didn’t get pregnant, so at least it was effective. However, I gained 15 pounds (while dieting and going to the gym 5 times a week), felt either depressed or irrationally angry 24/7, and got the worst painful cystic acne of my entire life. This pill is the worst, I only lasted a month on it. I can’t wait to switch back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen. Many people recommended trying this one, but it was a huge mistake for me."

For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra for 1 year. This is my 2nd form of BC. The 1st was Implanon, I had it for 2 months and couldn't deal with the spotting and crazy periods. I haven't noticed any HUGE side effects on Aubra, but there are some. I gained 10 lbs. My breasts feel sore the week before and the week of my period. I get minor mood swings and some depression, but nothing extreme. I break out a few days before my period, but I already had that problem prior to taking the pill. Sex drive remained as high as always. Headaches from time to time that I used to not get. No more severe cramps, and my period is light flow and it only lasts 3 to 4 days, it used to be heavy lasting 6 days. I am not pregnant so far, so it's worked. I have read it causes hyperpigmentation, which I have above my brow."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for the last six months. The only pro I can think of is that I'm not pregnant. However, the list of negatives is much longer. Before getting on the pill, I had clear skin, regular periods, no PMS or crazy mood swings. Since I got on it, though, I've noticed that my skin got worse-pimples appearing everywhere-bigger than I've ever gotten in my life. My periods have become so irregular despite following my doctor's instructions and taking it religiously at the same time (I have a pill tracker app too!). Pre-pill, my periods only lasted for four days and were relatively light. Now, though, my HEAVY periods last for eight days and happen every two weeks. Definitely gonna get off it and not recommend it to anyone."

For Birth Control "I started taking this BC about 3 months ago. For the first 2 months, I had terrible headaches every morning. On the 3rd month, they subsided, so that's good. I've noticed that I have gained some weight (about 7 lbs), but after reading more on this, I'm hopeful that it might slow down. I haven't gotten pregnant, so I'm happy about that. Also, I've had some pretty bad breakouts. I've never had acne before, so it's been a little upsetting. I am going to stick with it for another 3 months or so to see if my body evens out a little."

For Birth Control "I'm on my third pack of Aubra, and so far it hasn't been well. I've been on one other OC pill, and this one was worse. I have experienced extremely painful cramps and weight gain. And my face (normally pretty clear) has broken out with so much acne, and I've experienced vaginal dryness. But I'm not pregnant, and it does its job. My period hasn't gotten lighter or heavier, so it's pretty normal. I'm debating just continuing this pill to see if my face clears up."

For Birth Control "I started this pill because for whatever reason, I had a menstrual period for over a month. This awful pill slowed it down, but I'm still bleeding, almost 2 months now. I have awful migraines, acne, gained weight, terrible mood swings, and the worst cramps. I need off this ASAP."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for 3 months now and have had several negative side effects. I'm experiencing acne, bleeding, and cramping between periods, severe anxiety, headaches, moodiness, and weight gain. However, it has prevented pregnancy thus far."

For Birth Control "Horrible side effects! I'm super moody, terrible acne, mild to excruciating cramp pain, I'm having outbursts at work, and crying myself to sleep. Just stay away from this. All birth controls are bad, but this one tops the cake."

For Birth Control "Horrible BC. I have never in my life experienced any skin problems, but once I got on this pill, I had pimples all over my face. I got my period almost twice a month and a lot of spotting. Also had mood swings on it. At least my cramps stopped and breast tenderness stopped, but other than that HORRIBLE!"

For Birth Control "This is the first birth control that I have tried. I have no problems with it at all. No weight gain, mild mood swings, helps with acne (keeps my skin super clear), although I'll get an occasional pimple here or there. PMS symptoms are very mild too. I would recommend if it's your first time on birth control, try it, and if you don't like it, move on to a different one."

For Birth Control "I received Aubra from Planned Parenthood, and I've finished my first pack. I got my period, my normal period would be about 4 or 5 days after taking Aubra. I am on my 9th day, and I plan on going back to PPH to get switched to something different that will regulate my period back to normal. This kind of birth control has made me moody, not want to have sexual intercourse with my boyfriend, and I've broken out already."

For Birth Control "Terrible birth control for me. The first three months were great. No acne, no mood swings. Lost 7 lbs. Now on my 5th month. But here now I’m so depressed, anxiety-ridden, have acne all over my face and behind my ears! My hair has thinned out! Do not recommend this! Not sure why the first three months were great and then went terrible."

For Birth Control "After taking Aubra for a year and a half, I’ve had to stop taking it. It worked well for me at first, no bad side effects, but about 6 months in, I noticed that I was becoming depressed more and more often. I would be horribly irritable for almost a week before my period, my sex drive died, and I would get dry even while enjoying sex. I’d also get a pretty consistent acne breakout once a month. After being off of it for 3 weeks, I already felt much better mentally. Never got pregnant, though, no weight issues, my cramps were not nearly as terrible as before I took it, and that’s it. It got the job done, so it’s worth a try since all brands seem to be different for the individuals."

For Birth Control "Aubra is the first BC I have ever been on. It started out great. Two months in, I started spotting, but by the third month, my period was back to normal and fairly light. Now, I’m noticing weight gain, bad mood swings, and terrible acne. My breasts have grown quite a bit but are constantly sore. My back also aches now as well. My mood swings are completely unpredictable, too. I go from being very irritable and angry to crying and depressed to laughing and happy all within one day. As far as birth control, it is doing its job very effectively, but the side effects are a lot."
