For Type 2 Diabetes "Wanted to get off Jardiance because of constant yeast infection and peeing. After two doses of Trulicity, I was so sick. Nausea was mild and went away, but diarrhea started. Second dose diarrhea became worse. One night I farted and had sulfur burps for 3 hours, I had stomach ache and no appetite. Of course, most people would lose weight living like this. But not me-not a pound. Then skin on my forefingers started to peel in chunks. That’s when I called the doctor and said I am going back on Jardiance. I waited 3 weeks until this drug got out of my system and blood sugars started to creep up. Only then did I restart Jardiance, so yes it will lower your A1C, but you feel like you are dying. Now I am stuck with over $200 of meds I can’t use."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Week 1 shot low dose - GERD kicked in, not really hungry. Week 2 shot, GERD worse, burping sulfur all day, still not hungry, nausea, tired all the time. Week 3 shot maintenance dose - GERD all the time horrible, sulfur burps, diarrhea, nausea, stomach pains, tired all the time, food is revolting. Week 4 shot - wish I was dead. All the above now at the extreme - plus now I'm vomiting, missed work because of it. I will not take it again. Will stick with metformin and start cinnamon again."

For Type 2 Diabetes "The worst! Been on it for over two months. I take it on Friday. Fridays, I am so sick, by Sunday, I’m still sick. Monday is better. Wednesday, I swear every muscle in my body is very painful. I have crippling leg and foot pain. My heart races like a race car. I passed out once. Horrible stomach pains, gas, belching loud and hard, and bloating. I’m so dehydrated I went to the ER more than once, and they stuck me five times but still could not start an IV. I wore a heart monitor, had a Doppler done on my legs for blood clots, chest X-rays and EKG for chest pain and to rule out heart attack. Did a 24-hour urine test, provided stool samples due to so much diarrhea, but everything checked out fine, and the doctor concluded it was the Trulicity. I only started it because the insurance company stopped covering Victoza 1/1/18. My A1c was 12.75%. I started Victoza, and it went down to 8.6%. I have not been tested since I started Trulicity, but this is my last week on it, hopefully, my doctor can get Victoza authorized!"

For Type 2 Diabetes "Within four hours, I started feeling full and couldn’t eat. Within eight hours, I was passing gas and belching with an awful taste in my mouth. Couldn't eat, everything sat like a rock at the top of my stomach. Even water gave me heartburn. Got dizzy and started to vomit. I went to the ER, and they kept me two days. Said I was dehydrated and constipated but wouldn’t blame Trulicity because they didn’t know for sure. Put me on a liquid diet. I will not try this again, obviously, the drug is not good for me."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Awful heartburn, belching, headaches, nausea, and absolutely no appetite, lost over 7 lbs in 4 weeks, could not afford to lose weight. Worst medication I have ever been on. The only good thing about it was it did bring down my blood sugar levels."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I had really bad gas and sulfur burps too for 6 weeks. I stopped drinking coffee a week ago, and the sulfur burps are pretty much gone."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I started 4 weeks ago. My first shots were 1.25. It sent me to the E.R. twice in one week. They lowered my dose to 0.25. I'm still having stomach pain and sulfur burps, and stomach pain. The only good part is I'm not hungry. I have bouts of constipation and diarrhea. Something has to give, or I'm done taking it."
