"I have been taking Beyaz for 3 years. And I love it! I take it religiously! Same time every day! I have had no problems with it, in fact, my periods have become lighter since taking it! Which I love because I hated my period. And my face is so clear! I had bad acne before I started it, and I get compliments all the time now about how clear and smooth my face is! And I would recommend this pill to someone who knows they can take it on time every day, who wants to get rid of their acne, and who doesn't want any kids!"

"I have been on Beyaz for a week now. Before that, I had an IUD, which was removed after four years because of severe pain. The only side effect I really notice at this point is nausea throughout the day, and I feel tired all day. I have a history of depression and anxiety with panic attacks. I don't notice any difference with those symptoms so far. The nausea is really bad around the afternoon every day, even though I take it at night. Since this is only my first week, I'm going to stick it out and see what happens this month!"

"Beyaz was my first birth control pill. I bled throughout the first month, and I got cramps, which really scared me because I usually have short periods and almost never get cramps. After the first month, the bleeding stopped, my face cleared up, and my sex drive increased. Sadly, after 6-7 months of being on Beyaz, I noticed my vaginal lubrication wasn't the same, even when my sex drive was high. For me, that was a huge upside down, and I decided to switch to another pill, but I would definitely recommend it since that was the only side effect I experienced."

"I am 19 years old and have been taking Beyaz for 3 months. This is my first time being on birth control. However, I am switching because of the mood swings. I feel like I have crippling depression. I am NOT like this at all - this isn't me. It has gotten worse each month. I cry at every little thing and have had increasing suicidal thoughts. It is absolutely miserable. Other than depression, other negative effects have been weight gain (nearly 10 lbs), low sex drive, and my acne has stayed prominent. The only positive aspects are I didn't get pregnant (a few times I missed my time to take the pill up to 7 hours), and my breasts are definitely bigger than normal."

"I've been on Beyaz since September 2013 after switching from the Depo shot. I love the pill, however, I get really bad cramps when my period comes. Not sure if it's because my body is still adjusting to being off the shot or what."

"I was put on this pill for two months. In the first 3 days, I already knew I needed something else. I am normally quite laid-back and cheery but have had small issues with anxiety. On Beyaz, my anxiety was constant, and I would get into periods of complete emotional detachment or where anything someone said would hurt me. I would have anxiety attacks so bad that I would scratch at my skin, and my boyfriend would have to hold me down. Not to mention, my sex drive was pretty much gone, and when I would have sex, there would be intense pain or pressure on my lower abdomen. If you already struggle with anxiety or depression, I recommend staying away from this pill."

"I used to be on Yaz until the price got so high. I switched to a different one for a few months, had awful side effects, so my year check-up came and my doctor recommended Beyaz. I have been on it for almost a year. And my sex drive is almost completely gone, and I'm more moody on the pill than off. It's crazy. But I don't have any headaches anymore. Had no weight gain and no cramping or back aches on my period."

"If you're browsing this wondering whether to try it, just give it a chance for 2 months. Everyone is so different, you'll never guess your own reaction browsing others' experiences. But if you're curious - here's mine. It was recommended to me for a hormonal imbalance/acne when I was 18. I'm 25 now and still taking it. The first month was awful, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Now my periods are lighter, cramps are milder, migraines are gone, and I did not experience any major side effects (no weight gain or moodiness!). However, my sex drive isn't as high. Not nonexistent, just taken down a notch. I still think the benefits have outweighed the cons for me. Also - I was switched to Rajani and then back to Beyaz. Didn't notice any difference."

"I was scared to take Beyaz because of some of the reviews I had, but I’m so glad I did. I was diagnosed with mild PCOS and was having irregular spotting and pelvic cramps from it. After 2 months of being on it, my pelvic cramps and irregular bleeding have gone away. My periods are now lighter, and I have less cramping. I did experience a breakout when I first started taking it, but it wasn’t too bad, and it eventually went away within a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend this birth control, and it hasn’t caused me anything bad for me so far!"

"I have been on Beyaz for only 5 days. My doctor recommended it knowing that I am a smoker, but I'm only 25. I already had a tubal ligation, so Beyaz is for hormones and acne. I feel very nauseous and have severe migraines, loss of appetite, extremely tired, also, I have a nasty taste in my mouth that just won't go away, no matter how much I brush, floss, or use mouthwash. I'm not sure if I could handle these side effects, being a 2 and 3. Working full-time, I have to have the most energy possible. These side effects don't help."

"I’ve been on Beyaz for about a year now, and I’m loving it! The only thing I have noticed is, when taking it, make sure you take the pills at the same time or 30 minutes after you usually take it. I noticed when I got COVID, I would sleep all night and day, and it made it so I would spot (that sucked), but other than that, if you’re good at taking your pills on time and you want to skip your period, TAKE THIS BIRTH CONTROL!!"

"I had been using the pill for 8 years. I used the first version of this pill, Yaz, then switched to Beyaz when it came out. I went about my life for a few years and then considered switching to Ashlyan, which is just one period every 3 months. Well, let me tell you, having only one period every 3 months is MAGICAL. Unfortunately, my acne went full force, 6 months into the new pill, my entire face was broken out. I was using the strong topical prescription available, and still just getting worse. I was at my lowest when I realized the problem was probably the pill. I spoke with my doc, and we decided I could switch back to Beyaz and just get 2 extra packs a year and still get only 1 period every 3 months. 1 month into Beyaz, and my face is clear again!"

"I’m 19, 5’7’’ and weigh 135 lbs, and I’ve been on birth control since I was 16. My periods were so bad ever since they started. I bled so much, but it only lasted about 3-4 days. I would get really bad hot flashes and deep aching cramps with my periods (even on birth control). My hormones were all over the place. I’m on my 3rd pack (I skip my periods). I was scared to go back on birth control because of how nauseous and crazy I felt on my other type. I have not had anything negative happen so far with Beyaz. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost a pound or two, haven’t had any period bleeding or symptoms (bye-bye hot flashes), my boobs are very tender and have grown like 2 cup sizes, they’ve grown so much that I feel like they’re in the way now, lol. Well, with bigger boobs comes forth a very excited boyfriend, but now I literally have no sex drive. I feel bad, haha. I used to, but now I don’t. Overall, I 10/10 recommend. It’s a game changer."

"I've been taking Beyaz for about 5 years now. I started when I was 14 because of severe cramps. It worked great for a while, but in the last few months, I have experienced spotting and longer periods with more severe cramps. I am going to speak to a doctor about trying another pill."

"I have been on Beyaz for about 3 weeks after switching from Yaz due to cost. Now I feel more bloated, depressed, and have experienced weight gain. I have also had headaches. I haven't had a real period in several months since Yaz would just make me have cramping, not actually bleeding. I even have taken tests to ensure I wasn't pregnant because I wasn't bleeding. I'm not sure if the same thing works for Beyaz or not. I just hope my body adapts to this and I start to lose weight again and get energy back."

"I've been using this birth control for 7 years. I love it! At first, I definitely saw a change with myself. Positive and negative. My period became shorter, and my skin cleared up so quick! I have not had a pimple on my skin since starting this. The only negative I can think of is a little bit of weight gain and an emotional side effect. I definitely felt a little more sensitive and anxious after taking it, but nothing crazy enough to go off the pill. Definitely recommend for people who are struggling with acne or bad breakouts."

"Gained twelve pounds in the first 2 weeks! I don't get it? That is my only side effect, but it is a bad one. I already eat healthy and work out regularly, and I can't seem to drop this weight from the pill."

"I started taking Beyaz in 2016 and was on it for four years. I never had any serious side effects, just headache, some slight stomach pain, and mood swings. I am now back on it after being off for a year, and I’ve had much worse mood swings. I’m hoping they will subside in the coming weeks and am willing to stick to it because I have PCOS and my periods suck. It does wonders for my acne, and I have very regular, easy periods on it. It’s nice knowing when I’m going to start, and I only bleed for about 3-4 days. I do notice I have a much lower sex drive when I’m on it, though. All in all, this birth control is good, and the good outweighs the bad."

"I started this birth control when I was 18. It was then called Yaz and changed to Beyaz. I love it, it shortens my periods to 2 to 3 days, and that was back then. I have had 2 kids, and after nursing and using a different pill during that time, I got back on Beyaz. Now it has actually stopped my periods after a couple of months of use. I highly recommend trying this pill, I have had zero issues with it-all positive from this gal! (I am now 28), so I've used this for a long time."

"I've been taking Beyaz for about a week now, and it has been great. The only side effect I've really had a problem with is intense cravings. None of the other side effects (clearer skin, increased libido) have been a problem for me in the slightest. I would say that starting to take Beyaz was a wonderful choice."

"Beyaz was the first birth control I experienced, and I was on it for 2 years. It was nearly the perfect pill for me: no weight change, no mood swings, I regulated to it immediately, it dramatically shortened my periods to 3-4 days, and was exactly on time every single month. The ONLY two problems I had that warranted me switching included a decreased sex drive and multiple yeast infections. It was also a tad pricy. If it weren't for the yeast infections at least, I would stay on it! I'm nervous about switching pills, but I'm glad to know that I can go back on Beyaz if the others don't work out."

"I've never taken birth control before. I'm 24 and I got on it to try to stop sudden breakouts. I've been on Beyaz for only 6 days. I can see my oily skin becoming noticeably less oily and shine-free throughout the day, which I'm hoping will clear my face completely in the long run. As of now, my skin feels softer, less oily, and seems to be clearing up. On the downside, I feel very, very tired. I'm on my last week of school taking finals, and I regret not having waited until after finals because all I want to do is sleep. I do feel a little more irritable than usual, but it's manageable."

"Overall, this was a good pill for me. The only reason I stopped taking it was because I wanted to switch to a form of birth control that I didn't have to take every day. At first, for maybe the first two weeks, I felt more depressed, but after that, I felt the same as usual. I did spot through pretty much the whole second month, BUT that has happened with every birth control I have been on, so I think it is just my body. There was also a mild increase in acne toward the end of the first pack, but it went away and my skin became very clear. This pill was also helpful for excess hair growth that I have in certain areas. It was a helpful pill for my PMS symptoms and to regulate my periods."

"I've been on Beyaz for 1 month. It's the first kind I've tried, and it's worked pretty well for me so far. The only problem is that I have moments where I get extremely moody. My hunger has increased, and I get headaches more often than usual. Also, towards the end of the pack, I started spotting a lot. Other than that, I'm happy with it. The side effects aren't too bad, so I can't complain. They will probably go away since I've only been on it for a month, and my body's still getting used to it."

"So I will say that Beyaz has served its course. I've been on it for a little over a year and can only offer 2 pros. Pros: it stopped my period, it prevented pregnancy. Cons: the mood swings are terrible, I am always irritated, every little thing bothers me, I am so rude to my husband. Not to mention, I cry at the drop of a dime. Before Beyaz, I could count on one hand the number of times I had cried in the last 5 years. Also, the weight gain. My doctor put me on Beyaz because it was supposed to help me lose weight. Instead, I have gained everywhere, and although I constantly work out, I can't lose the weight. I have never had acne, so I can't really speak on that, but I will say that I have had quite a few breakouts while being on Beyaz."
