"I have been taking Beyaz for a year now to prevent pregnancy. Because I have been taking it consistently at a scheduled time, it has worked wonders! I would recommend this pill to anyone that is sexually active. Only side effects I have noticed are blood clots and emotional sensitivity. 10/10, highly recommend."

"I was prescribed this medicine to help with my erratic periods. It was great, at first. About eight months into it, I became anemic from heavy bleeding and had nine-day periods instead of four. I've also experienced spotting eight months into taking it."

"When I first started taking Beyaz, it was great. I had no problems, but towards the end of the cycle, I had a terrible attitude, was very emotional, nauseous, and had too many headaches. Once my period was gone, it came back a day after, and it was light to medium. Very bad cramps. My appetite increased a lot more when I started. But everyone's body is different and would react differently to the pills."

"I have been on Beyaz for 6 months, and as a birth control, it works as it should. When I first started, I had no symptoms. But I gained around 10-15 pounds, which, for my size, isn't a bad thing, but the fact I don't fit in my pants comfortably now stinks. For my cramps, it didn't do a single thing. I still get cramps that make me want to curl in a ball all day. While my period is finally regular, it seems a little heavier. I was told it would help my cramps and period, but I guess my body doesn't like that."

"I've been on Beyaz for 6 days now, and I feel slightly different. Started on the first day of my period. I don't know if it's me, but I've been feeling nauseous on day 5 and a tiny headache here and there. Hope this is just a beginning process. Let's see how it goes. I'm not liking how I feel. Just blah."

"Took it for 4 years. Acne was cleared up perfectly, and I actually lost weight. In the beginning, however, I had pretty bad anxiety and was noticeably more emotional. Towards the end of my use, I noticed my lethargy and mental fuzziness while in college. I also had dryness and a pretty low sex drive. Great obvious pros, but for me, there were hidden cons physiologically and psychologically."

"I started Beyaz about 6 months ago. The first 3 months were great. No acne. No crying. No anger or crazy mood swings. The last 2 or 3 months have been bad, though. My face started breaking out, I am very emotional and angry. I don't know if it's because my pharmacy started giving me the generic version or it's the hormones, but everything was great until recently."

"I switched to Beyaz about 4 years ago, after being on OrthoNovum. The first 3 months were tough. I recall having irritability, fatigue, discolored complexion, breakthrough bleeding during sex, etc. After that transition, I felt fine. About 2 years ago, my period began being lighter and lighter and eventually went away. I asked my GYN if it was okay, and she assured me that Beyaz may eliminate my period. At first, I was displeased because I wanted a period to prove that I wasn't pregnant each month. But when my gyno told me she could put me on something else to force a period, I told her no! Now with the new year, I discovered that my new RX plan doesn't cover ANY of the BEYAZ/RAJANI/SAFYRAL contraceptives. I'm DOOMED!! :-("

"I've only been taking Beyaz for a week, but I have noticed a slight decrease in appetite. I've had minor headaches and feeling bloated. I just hope I don't gain weight, the other pill I was on made me gain 20 pounds."

"This drug can create absolutely horrible stomach problems. I went from having no stomach issues to horrible IBS, all due to Beyaz. My sister was on the same birth control while I was on this drug and was also experiencing the same symptoms. I got an IUD and went off Beyaz, and my stomach started feeling better. However, it took almost 9 months for my body to fully recover. Horrible side effects for a birth control, would not recommend it to anyone."

"Beyaz didn't work for me. My GYN put me on this pill because I wasn't ovulating. This pill turned out to be my worst nightmare. The first week, I became very emotional and had light menstrual bleeding and cramps. The second week, my bleeding became heavier and cramps turned into pressure in my lower abdominal area. The pressure made me so uncomfortable. No medicine helped. I called my GYN office and spoke with her nurse. She suggested doubling up on the meds I was currently taking. That helped some, but not much. The third week, the bleeding became extreme with large blood clots. Having to wear 2 huge pads at a time was awful. And the pressure turned back into pain. I called my GYN back, and they advised me to stop the pill immediately."

"I've been on Beyaz going on 5 years now. The good thing about this birth control is: it does the job! No babies, no bad acne, super light periods here and there. However, I've been experiencing mood swings lately. I will cry and cry and cry till I can't cry no more! I'm so mean to people now, which is crazy because I'm usually a people person most of the time. It makes me super hot at night and makes my chest feel heavier than usual. It's cool for keeping weight down, acne, and no babies. I just think Beyaz has run its course for my body."

"I've been off Beyaz almost a year now and have had only two cycles. I was on the pill a little over five years and went off of the pill due to weight gain, anxiety, and always feeling bad. I haven't had a period since March 2017, which results in me constantly having to take pregnancy tests to make sure I'm not pregnant (which I'm not). I wish I'd never started taking it. Please make sure your OBGYN explains all of the side effects before and after the pill."

"I was on it for 2 years and overall it wasn't that bad. I'm in the market for a new birth control though, so I've been looking around. My biggest takeaways from Beyaz is that it made me a little moody. For the most part, I was always causing issues with my ex, but to be honest, he was actually horrible, so maybe it wasn't the pills. I gained probably 15-20 lbs overall, which isn't horrible, but I've lost 30 lbs since being off and I'm not looking to gain it all back. My skin was decent and I never got pregnant, so overall it did its job."

"I started Beyaz a year ago, and wow, it's been a trip! First 3 months, I bled non-stop. I started the pill at the beginning of my period, so naturally, I went the first few days with my period. But after my usual 3-4 day cycle, I wouldn't stop bleeding. It wasn't period bleeding, but there was definitely spotting to the point where I had to wear a liner or pad. For 3 consecutive months, I spotted non-stop. When I went back to the doctor for my next packets, she said I just needed to adjust. As soon as I started my 4th month, things were normal. I stopped spotting, I bled only during my period, and things were fine. I also broke out only on my chin during the first 2 months. Eventually, it cleared up and everything was good. I haven't had a pregnancy scare, my boyfriend and I never use condoms, so I think it's been really effective. The only thing I will say is that I used to rarely get cramps before, and now I get some, usually on my first day, and now my periods are about 4-5 days instead of 3-4."

"I started Beyaz my senior year of high school (about 7 and a half years ago) and have been on it ever since! Over the years, I've heard horror stories from girlfriends about having to try multiple different pills before finding one that was right for them, and all the side effects that went along with trying them. I was extremely lucky to have originally been prescribed Beyaz because I feel as though I have barely experienced any negative side effects. I did develop a sensitivity to caffeine that I think may be related to the pill, but it's definitely something that's manageable. My insurance is going to change at the beginning of the year, and Beyaz will no longer be covered. I'm going to miss it because it worked so well for me!"

"I was taking Yaz. It worked great, I lost weight, my skin and hair are healthier. Now I have been switched to Beyaz, and on the first day, I noticed I was craving and hungry late at night. It's only been a week, and I do not like the side effects."

"Beyaz was good my first year, but as I continued to take it, my libido was short to none. I grew emotional, started having anxiety problems. I will be discontinuing this birth control because it's starting to affect my marriage."

"BEYAZ is my worst enemy! I took this BC pill for 1 1/2 months. Completed week 1, and the mood swings started. Week 3, I started bleeding light with minor cramps. Week 4, my light bleeding turned into heavy bleeding, changing my pad every hour or less. The cramps were no longer minor, they were just unbearable that I had to take Norco and Ibuprofen at the same time just to take the edge off. I spoke to my GYN about the symptoms, and I was advised to give it another try even after I was in the ER injected with Dilaudid. Started the 2nd pack as the bleeding and cramping still continue. Put on Vicodin and Naproxen for pain. I became depressed, angry, isolated, emotionally unattached, and extremely tired. I quit taking it midway, and now I'm in recovery."

"I have been taking Beyaz for like a month now, and I wasn’t having any problems until the effects kicked in within the month. I had a nightmare of an experience. I was feeling depressed, so sad for an action that I did which wasn’t even bad to begin with. I was feeling nauseous, blurred/foggy vision (which was high blood pressure). I felt trapped. I felt this way for like 3 days straight. It was so scary. However, my skin is super clear, which was why I began the pill in the first place. My sex drive has definitely lowered, which I’m the total opposite. I’m a very happy, funny person, but this made me feel not myself. I was getting panic attacks and anxiety with sadness. I never read on side effects, but this time I did, and it was the pill. I’m so relieved to find out what it was."

"My daughter, after using Beyaz for 6 months, developed bruises, swollen lumps, joint pain, and finally she needed to use crutches to walk. We saw many doctors, but none knew what to do. So on our own, we decided she should go off Beyaz, and the symptoms slowly disappeared. 9 months later, they are gone, thankfully, but it was a nightmare!"

"This was the worst medication I've ever taken. It gave me terrible nausea, cramps, and stomach pain. I was somehow allergic to the placebo reminder pills - it gave me hives and trouble breathing. It also caused bladder spasms. You couldn't pay me to take this again."

"For 4 years I was on Yaz. I stopped when I got pregnant and waited over a year to get back on the pill. I couldn't handle even general PMS: bloating, cramping, achy body, emotional roller coaster, breakouts, not to mention feeling tired and irritable. So I went to my OB-GYN to get back on Yaz, but she prescribed Beyaz instead."

"Seriously, I am so grateful for this pill. I had horrible cystic acne my entire life because of a bad birth control formula I was on before. After 2-3 months on this one, my skin is completely changed. Cannot even say enough how much a relief this is."

"On day 7 of Beyaz. I'm 22, and I was previously taking Femcon. I discontinued because of severe anxiety that could or could not have been related to the birth control (it's hard to tell sometimes if the symptoms are the pill or just you). I took a year break off of birth control before starting Beyaz. So far, I have mixed feelings. I have been feeling panicky and moody, but again, I'm not sure if that is a product of the birth control or my GAD. I also went back on birth control for my skin because I have bothersome acne. I have been developing pretty severe headaches, and I have also been feeling nauseous. My doctor said these symptoms will go away with time, so for now I am going to stick it out and see."
