For Birth Control "I was initially really scared to start this brand of birth control because of all its negative reviews. But as a broke college student who had already paid for the medication, I figured I might as well give it a try. I take my medication at 7 PM every night. I haven’t felt any nausea or pains so far (I’m on my third pack). I have experienced some weight gain in my breasts and hips, but nothing crazy. I would suggest trying this out if you can, but be aware that everyone is different and everyone’s body is different. 8/10 for me."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Isibloom from Pill Club for almost 3 or 4 months now. I was very nervous about taking it because it was my first time taking birth control. And oh boy, did I change. I was angry all the time, always mad at something, felt like I was going to throw up all the time, my weight changed, I've gained almost 30-40 pounds (maybe that's because I live with my boyfriend lol), my acne was doing okay, but the changes in my period were great! My flow isn't as heavy, the first day it's light, but the second day it's heavy! The cramps are the worst on the first day, but after that, no cramps! My period lasts up to roughly 2-4 days, depends if Mother Nature wants to be nice. ALSO, this is coming from a girl that has sex almost every day or every other day, AND I'm not pregnant. AND we don't use a condom either. I would say this birth control is effective, but it just depends on who you are. And we all are entitled to our opinions. And taking the pill is worth all the struggles! Xoxox"

For Birth Control "I used Isibloom for 3 years. I initially got prescribed it at age 16 for hormonal cystic acne, and it immediately perfected my skin. I have not had cystic acne since, and I rarely get pimples. It was great at lightening and regulating my periods to the Wednesday of the placebo week. I did gain weight, but I believe this is not due to the medication and more so to just my body changing for the better over time (I was really skinny, 120 lbs, 5’8 when I started it). The reason I went off it was that I have anxiety, and remembering to take a pill every day was not good for my mental health. My body also did not respond well to the sudden decrease in hormones during the placebo week (I would become very depressed, bloated, and increased anxiety). But again, I did have an anxiety disorder prior to starting this. I switched to Nexplanon, and so far, it has been a lot better for me. But Isibloom is an AMAZING birth control for someone who is alright with taking a pill every day to prevent pregnancy."

For Birth Control "I was on Quasense for five years, starting when I was 14. I should’ve switched a long time ago. It gave me horrible nausea every time I started a new pack, to the point where I started to stop eating the night I took the first pill along with a nausea pill. It gave me acne, weight gain, and depression. It did NOTHING for my abnormally heavy and painful periods. I switched to Isibloom only a week ago, but I already love it. No nausea, I’ve lost 2 pounds and gained a cup size. I’m giving it a 9 because I haven’t been on it long enough to see what it does for my acne or for my periods!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for 3 months now. I’m in a serious relationship, so we thought it’d be a good idea. I didn’t really have that many side effects. The only things that have happened are a little weight gain, moodiness, and, worst of all, the entire time I’ve been on it, I’ve had a dark red discharge. I read that it can happen in the first 3-4 months, so I’m hoping it goes away soon. I’ve just had to wear panty liners every day!"

"Started on this birth control after 2 years of heavy periods and extremely painful cramping, and other pills I've tried before could never numb the pain of these cramps. My doctor put me on the continuous dose of Isibloom, and for the first 2 months, it was fantastic. Clear skin, no periods, and no pain whatsoever. The third month became absolute bad for me. Within a week, I had put on 6 pounds, then by week 3, it was 15 lb. My mood was a rollercoaster, and every small inconvenience had me either in tears or livid to the point of getting into screaming matches with my own family. My skin broke out with awful cystic acne in areas I have never gotten acne before. The pain in my neck and lower back has made me have to cancel plans and even stay out of classes. Do NOT take this if you have had bad experiences with similar hormonal birth controls because this is definitely the worst one I've ever taken."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on several other brands of birth control, all of which gave me cramps or terrible, terrible mood swings/constant depressive thoughts. I’ve been on Isibloom for about 7 months now, and honestly, it’s been great. My period is down to 3 days, which are very light. I no longer have to deal with horrible cramping/nausea, and my “PMS acne” is basically non-existent now. The only side effects I’ve noticed are a slight weight gain, and oddly, I now find the taste/smell of hot coffee absolutely repulsive."

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old, this is my first birth control, and I have been on it for around 9 months. The first 3-7 months were bearable, I didn’t gain weight, my mood swings increased a little, and I had a few headaches here and there. Months 8-9, I’m noticing more breakouts on my skin and more dryness around my eyes, it could just be the environment, though. Overall, Isibloom does its job of preventing pregnancy, and its side effects aren't all too bad."

For Birth Control "This pill Isibloom started out great with little to no side effects and seemingly does its job considering I’m not pregnant. However, after 3 months, I began to experience severe mood swings. I cry all the time over little things and sometimes nothing. I also get uncontrollably angry and lash out on everyone. I have no motivation and I’m depressed most of the time. Some other side effects I’ve noticed were painful periods, nausea (to the point that I actually fainted), weight gain, and bloating. This pill is not worth taking, it greatly affected my mental health. After today, I will no longer be taking Isibloom. I absolutely DO NOT recommend."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for one cycle. I’ve experienced some side effects including increased appetite (few lbs weight gain), bloating/water retention, tender and swollen breasts— I’ve gone up a bra cup size— really didn’t want to as they’re already too big for my frame... Moodiness, pimples. The only positive is that I get to skip my period, but I am definitely considering stopping the pill. I wish it worked for me, but I don’t think the side effects are worth it."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this birth control for 4 months now. I was scared for a second because most of the reviews have horrible side effects. With me, I haven’t had any mood swings, no weight gain or loss, no dizziness, I feel the same. I guess Isibloom is not meant for everyone."

For Birth Control "I am 25 years old, and I was prescribed Isibloom over a year ago. I have not experienced any negative side effects! I will say that I may have gained a little bit of weight, but nothing extreme/out of my normal range. I do not have any mood swings or headaches! My period/withdrawal bleeding is pretty much exactly the same as it was pre-birth control! The only thing that changed from that was that my breasts do not get sore before my period. My experience pre-birth control vs. now is pretty much the same, other than I am protected from pregnancy!"

For Birth Control "So I haven't been on birth control since the birth of my second son 7 years ago. I'm 26. I heard about the pill club and was prescribed Isibloom. I took the pill for 3 months and overall had no side effects except I did notice an increase in my appetite and weight gain, obviously. I decided that this month would be my last on birth control, so I threw the pack away. I've been on my period for 2 weeks now. No cramps, just super heavy bleeding and clots as big as quarters sometimes. I'm worried because my periods have always lasted no more than 3 or 4 days. Pretty sure this isn't normal. I have to use a pad and tampon to make sure I don't have any accidents. Hoping it's just my body getting rid of the extra hormones."

For Birth Control "I think this medication can work for some people, but for me, I’m fed up. I’m just another one of those youths that got yelled at by their parent to get on birth control with no support to actually get birth control. I was too embarrassed to ask my doctor, so I just went on Pill Club. What’s the harm of anti-social convenience, right? Three years later, I gained nearly 50 pounds, lost my sex drive (I’m a Scorpio… that’s like unreal.), and had anxiety attacks that’d last hours for the first time in my life (I had anxiety prior but never an actual attack…). I kept using it because I was uncertain if it was contributing, and my husband was a pharmacy tech at the time-now physical trainer-that said it was highly unlikely that the birth control was causing my concerns. Three years later, I’m over it. I’m convinced it is the culprit and want my life back. Ditching this birth control and the doctor I was uncomfortable with so I can get in better health."

For Birth Control "My doctor switched me to this birth control to help control my endometriosis. Not only did this make it worse, it caused a lot of other symptoms. Was only on it for 2 months before I couldn’t take it anymore. I gained 16 pounds, extremely irritable, mood swings, and severely increased my anxiety and depression."

For Birth Control "I started Isibloom 3 years ago. It made my periods consistent, and it cleared up my acne. I used to be 120 but haven’t been able to get under 130 since. I haven’t changed how active I have been or how I’ve eaten, other than trying harder to lose weight. My bra size went up from a double A to a B, but it did add a lot of fat in other places very quickly as well. I also experienced depression for the majority of the time I was on this drug. I feel like a totally different person than 3 years ago, but the drug was effective in its main purpose, birth control, since I haven’t gotten pregnant. Would I recommend this? No, but everyone’s body reacts differently to different things, so it might be worth it to try it out. Just be very aware of your bodily and mental changes. After looking back over the past three years and noticing that my weight gain and mental health issues all started after taking this medication, I will be looking for another brand or possibly going on the ring."

For Birth Control "I started the pill club subscription in the middle of 2019, and they prescribed me Isibloom. They were in the green packaging, and let me just say, if you are struggling or have struggled in the past with mental health/self-doubt, I would not take this pill. It made me super unmotivated, and I sat inside for days at a time, was self-conscious about my body (it caused me to gain 15+ lbs in the first 3 months), and altogether avoided social situations; not to mention nausea, fatigue, tender breasts, and irregular discharge. But after about 4-5 months, most of those side effects went away, except I have noticed it is harder for me to lose weight or gain muscle mass since being on the pill. I’m still currently on it, even though it’s the pink packaging now, and I’d say it has 100% shortened and lightened my period, and I have no other issues with it."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Isibloom for a little over a year and I love it. I was on a previous pill before Isibloom and was super depressed and sad, but the moment I switched and got on Isibloom I felt normal again. I have noticed a little weight gain, but that’s the only negative I really have! Overall, it’s a great birth control, and from someone that tried two other kinds of the pill, this one has been the best! Highly recommend."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill, it seems like forever. One year, I renewed my prescription, and that’s when I started seeing a change. At first, everything was fine. For about a year or so, I was getting regular 5-6 days of bleeding. Cramps only on the first day. Nothing else serious or major. Maybe slight mood swings, but that’s it. Then, I renewed my prescription, and for some reason (IDK if they changed the pill), everything slowly started getting worse. Acne on my face came back after trying to fight it off for years. My cramps went from one day to many days before I started and days during my period. My period lasts for only 2-3 days. Mood swings are abnormal. I’m crying when I don’t want to cry. My energy is drained before my period starts. It’s hard to concentrate as well. I didn’t get much weight gain while on it, but I have gained some weight. That’s about it."

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for a little over a year. In the beginning, I experienced mild side effects such as mood swings and nausea, but it eventually went away around month 3, and my period became shorter with little to no cramping. However, around month 11, I began to experience some of the worst stomach pain and nausea that I have ever had. I was unable to keep any food down, had a very low appetite, and was extremely depressed and unmotivated. As time went on, I started to have severe headaches, inability to focus, repeated UTI infections, and an increase in weight gain, along with all of my nausea and sharp stomach pains. In addition to all of these side effects, I would frequently cry for no reason, have extremely heightened anxiety, and severe changes in mood. If you want to be on a pill that makes you feel as if you’re going insane, Isibloom is for you."

For Birth Control "I really like this birth control and wanted to share my experience because of the horrors I’ve read from other people taking this pill. I never had bad acne, but it cleared up the few pimples I do get, I always have clear skin now. Periods are light and only about 4 days for me. The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 was because the first month you’re on it, the boob pain is so bad. But I’ve been on for 3 months now, and it has gone away. I have gained a few pounds, but it could also be from moving back into college while beginning this pill. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

For Birth Control "I was on birth control starting at 14 years old and got switched to this when I was 18, and everything literally just went horrible. Immediately gained like 30 (130-160) pounds without my exercise level changing or my diet changing at all. My depression and anxiety became so severe that I literally didn’t want to live anymore. My acne got worse. I had absolutely no sex drive. I’m now on the implant, which I’m getting out soon because, although I stopped gaining weight when I got off this pill, the effects have not gone away. I genuinely feel as if this medication ruined my life, it changed me into a completely different person and changed my body, and no matter how hard you try to lose weight, it will not budge. Please avoid this."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Isibloom on and off for four years now. I like to give my body a break every now and then. I've always had really painful periods, and this pill was magic. Minimal cramping and back pain, and I now get my period on the dot every month. For some reason, however, this last time around I started taking it again, it has caused me nausea, weight gain that I'm unable to lose, and a decreased sex drive and vaginal dryness. I'm stopping it for a bit and starting it back again later, which hopefully will work out better."

For Birth Control "Currently crying from the pain of cramps!! My doctor prescribed me Isibloom because my period has been late about 4 months, and I also have PCOS, which makes it harder. I’ve only been taking it a month, and I can tell you right now I won’t be taking it ever again! The cramps are almost everlasting, and they are so, so, so bad, so bad I want to go to the hospital because I feel like something is really wrong! The nausea is even worse, I throw up everything I eat almost all the time! (No, I’m not pregnant)! My acne hasn’t cleared, I’ve only been gaining weight, and my mood is always so crappy! Worst ever!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom since 2010. I don’t have a period, so I have no cramps or bloating. There were no side effects such as mood swings or weight gain for me personally. This is the best birth control."
