For Birth Control "I am 39 and started Isibloom about 2 weeks ago. The only thing I noticed seems to be getting hungry more often. I could not say if it is the pill or just me not eating enough on a daily basis. Either way, no migraines, no acne, no body ache. Everything is good!"

"I had terrible cramps every month. I would be doubled over in pain for hours and oftentimes vomiting. I would be unable to work for 2-3 days every period. Isibloom was a complete game changer for me. In the beginning, I had acne and tender breasts, but after the first three weeks, it’s been smooth sailing. Just give your body maybe at least a month to adjust. I’m not using this drug to prevent pregnancy."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Isibloom from Pill Club for almost 3 or 4 months now. I was very nervous about taking it because it was my first time taking birth control. And oh boy, did I change. I was angry all the time, always mad at something, felt like I was going to throw up all the time, my weight changed, I've gained almost 30-40 pounds (maybe that's because I live with my boyfriend lol), my acne was doing okay, but the changes in my period were great! My flow isn't as heavy, the first day it's light, but the second day it's heavy! The cramps are the worst on the first day, but after that, no cramps! My period lasts up to roughly 2-4 days, depends if Mother Nature wants to be nice. ALSO, this is coming from a girl that has sex almost every day or every other day, AND I'm not pregnant. AND we don't use a condom either. I would say this birth control is effective, but it just depends on who you are. And we all are entitled to our opinions. And taking the pill is worth all the struggles! Xoxox"

For Birth Control "(Not as bad as the reviews might lead you to believe. Usually, people who have bad experiences are, of course, going to post about it. Not to undermine any experience that anyone has on this BC.) Let me tell you, though. I’ve tried six different kinds of birth controls (from Nuvaring to other pills). All of them gave me the WORST mood swings. It was not healthy, and I had to get off all of them. With Isibloom, I think I finally found one that works for me. I still get mild mood swings, but I just have to remind myself I’m adjusting to the new medication. Other than that, there have literally been no other side effects. I have bad acne in general, and I’m hoping soon it’ll clear up too! Ladies, good luck finding the birth control for you! Everything is going to be different for everyone. So try until you find yours. -Xoxo"

For Birth Control "I honestly love the Isibloom birth control pill! I did not get any bad symptoms at all! I did get body acne for the first month, but then it completely went away! The only thing that I noticed was that my periods got very light and were only 3 days short!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this Isibloom for 2 months. It has made my periods only 3 days long and my cramps more bearable. I have not gained any more weight. I have been getting acne below my nose though ever since I have been taking it. Sex drive is fine. I get irritated easier now though. Overall, I like it though, so don’t be afraid to try it!"

For Birth Control "I take Isibloom at the same time every day and have had light bleeding every single day for 3 months straight. I got it for birth control and to skip my period, but the daily bleeding and acne breakouts (I'm 35) are inexcusable. I'm never taking this drug again."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this Isibloom for a week (not sure enough to judge, but this is what happened so far). I’ve been breaking out? I never used to get acne like this... might be from stress, though. I’ve also had spotting/vaginal discharge. I feel like my boobs have been bigger, but they aren’t sore. This is my first birth control, so I’m going to stay on it and see what happens, but so far, nothing that makes me feel horrible!"

For Birth Control "I have crazy PMS. I mean crazy. I cry a lot, I'm nauseous (I even vomit some months), get heat flashes, acne, horrible cramps, mood swings, etc. This is why I was not afraid of any birth control side effects because I live with these bad problems regardless. I took birth control (through the pill club and was prescribed this) because of my symptoms and because I've been sexually active for a few months now. I took it a week before my period, and those symptoms seem to have been minimized so far. I have a very high sex drive, however, the pill makes it a little harder to get turned on. I've had okay sex so far and also very great sex (my advice is to use a good amount of lube. It fixes the problem). I've only been on it a week, but so far so good. I will, however, be back to post a review in a few months to see if my symptoms have changed. So far so good, though. (: All bodies are different, but if you're anything like me, I would consider trying this pill."

For Birth Control "I was on Quasense for five years, starting when I was 14. I should’ve switched a long time ago. It gave me horrible nausea every time I started a new pack, to the point where I started to stop eating the night I took the first pill along with a nausea pill. It gave me acne, weight gain, and depression. It did NOTHING for my abnormally heavy and painful periods. I switched to Isibloom only a week ago, but I already love it. No nausea, I’ve lost 2 pounds and gained a cup size. I’m giving it a 9 because I haven’t been on it long enough to see what it does for my acne or for my periods!"

For Birth Control "I switched to Isibloom (ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg, desogestrel 0.15 mg) when I ran out of the birth control I got abroad that was called Marvelon. Marvelon was amazing, but they don't sell it here. My gynecologist said Isibloom is the generic of Marvelon, though she was hesitant to prescribe it because it came with an unusually high risk of blood clots. I've had a very negative experience with most types of birth control (NuvaRing, Yaz, IUD). While the Isibloom one isn't the worst, I still have severe mood swings, lots of gross cystic acne (which I never had), and am exhausted all of the time. My breasts also fluctuate about one cup size each month. Symptoms seem to get particularly bad during the last week of taking it. I heard it's supposed to ease up after three cycles, but I'm close to the end of my third cycle, and if anything, it's just more intense. Now, I'm always angry and covered in zits. I'm 29. I definitely wouldn't recommend it, but I also don't think they make an alternative in the US that isn't a nightmare. I'm giving it one more month."

"Started on this birth control after 2 years of heavy periods and extremely painful cramping, and other pills I've tried before could never numb the pain of these cramps. My doctor put me on the continuous dose of Isibloom, and for the first 2 months, it was fantastic. Clear skin, no periods, and no pain whatsoever. The third month became absolute bad for me. Within a week, I had put on 6 pounds, then by week 3, it was 15 lb. My mood was a rollercoaster, and every small inconvenience had me either in tears or livid to the point of getting into screaming matches with my own family. My skin broke out with awful cystic acne in areas I have never gotten acne before. The pain in my neck and lower back has made me have to cancel plans and even stay out of classes. Do NOT take this if you have had bad experiences with similar hormonal birth controls because this is definitely the worst one I've ever taken."

For Birth Control "I’ve been using Isibloom for about 2 years now, and the only bad side effects I’ve had are cramps and acne. I never had cramps before taking this birth control, but they’re not terrible, I can still manage to work and be fine. As for the acne, not sure if it's caused by this birth control or not, but once my period starts, I start to see a few. Other than that, I’ve had no other issues, and I'm going to continue to use this because I am scared to try anything else. The reviews on this website for other birth controls and this one are kinda scary."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 4 months now, and I have experienced zero side effects! This is my first time taking birth control, as I decided to go on a bit of a spree, lol, and figured it would be a good idea. I went through my spree and now have a serious relationship with no pregnancy scares so far. I ordered this from Pill Club without insurance and only had to pay $40 with the copay for a year's supply. I DID request a pill that would stop my period, and Isibloom does no such thing, but that's on the Pill Club, not the pill itself. It did regulate my period, which is something I haven't had since I started it, so at least that's something. My periods are pretty much the same as they were prior to the pill, my acne is back and forth on how bad it gets, but no weight gain, mood swings, or change in behavior. All in all, I like this pill!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for 4 months. I noticed a big difference in my eating habits. I eat less and lost about 15 pounds since starting. I have had major mood swings in the beginning where I even scared my family. I wouldn’t recommend this to teens, just young adults. The hormones make me go back and forth with my acne, but only around my regular period time, and I still get ovulation pain while on the pill, so I’m not sure it’s actually doing what it’s supposed to. My advice: research as much as possible about what you want to put into your body and talk to your doctor or nurse about it, they will put you on a better track than looking at reviews."

For Birth Control "I am on my third pack of Isibloom, and for the first 1.5 months, acne was crazy! Especially around my chin. Now that I’m onto my third pack, that has cleared up a bit. Secondly, my libido decreased a lot in the first month. My sex drive was high before switching to Isibloom, so I was shocked that it made a huge difference. My boyfriend was aware of the situation, so if this ever happens, have some lube on hand! Thirdly, my period was quite heavy with this BC pill. But before I even started taking BC pills, I always experienced heavy bleeding, so it was nothing new to me. Lastly, I didn’t notice a change in anything-appetite, weight, mood change, nothing-since I first started taking Isibloom. I decided to skip my period from the second pack onto the third pack, and it was a smooth transition! I’m on my second week in my third pack, and it’s nice not having a period! No pregnancy, too!"

For Birth Control "I've seen a lot of bad reviews about Isibloom birth control pill, and it makes me worry, but I personally like it. I've been on it for 2 months now, and the first month went pretty well. I lost almost all my appetite and didn't eat much. I have pretty bad mood swings that it seemed to help and even out some. Now, the second month is basically my usual mood swings and pretty regular appetite. Occasionally, I don't have an appetite, or I have too much of an appetite. My acne hasn't increased, and I don't have any weird discharge, and lastly, I'm not pregnant. All in all, I like it."

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old, this is my first birth control, and I have been on it for around 9 months. The first 3-7 months were bearable, I didn’t gain weight, my mood swings increased a little, and I had a few headaches here and there. Months 8-9, I’m noticing more breakouts on my skin and more dryness around my eyes, it could just be the environment, though. Overall, Isibloom does its job of preventing pregnancy, and its side effects aren't all too bad."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for one cycle. I’ve experienced some side effects including increased appetite (few lbs weight gain), bloating/water retention, tender and swollen breasts— I’ve gone up a bra cup size— really didn’t want to as they’re already too big for my frame... Moodiness, pimples. The only positive is that I get to skip my period, but I am definitely considering stopping the pill. I wish it worked for me, but I don’t think the side effects are worth it."

For Birth Control "To anyone looking to get on birth control for the first time, I would recommend Isibloom, but that’s just based on my experience. I’ve taken it for the past two and a half months. I would say that even before BC, I had slight pains during intercourse, so if you’re reading all the reviews that included that like I did, keep an open mind. I did not have the worst acne nor cramping before BC and still do not on Isibloom. Regarding mood swings, however, I used to have just horrible mood swings on my own, and I would say since Isibloom, I really haven’t. I wouldn’t say they cured them, but I just wanted to note that. So if you’re looking for a cheaper starter BC, I would definitely recommend. But everybody reacts differently, so good luck, ladies!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for around four months. I didn’t experience weight gain, and my mood actually was improved. However, I got horrible hormonal acne for all four months, so I think I need to switch to a different birth control."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for about 2 weeks. It was substituted at the pharmacy for my normal Apri. I figured it would probably be similar and be just fine. Not at all. I called off work this week because the nausea and diarrhea were so intense I thought I had a stomach bug. I have GI discomfort 24/7, it literally feels like someone is wringing out my intestines with all the cramping. My acne has flared up pretty badly, and I generally feel achy, weak, and sick all the time. Going to discontinue this ASAP. This is literally the worst experience I have ever had on birth control."

For Birth Control "Well, my experience is a mixture. I've been on this BC for almost a month. Just started the green pills 3 days ago, but I haven't started my period, and I never not have my period. Anyone have this issue? I haven't missed a pill or been late taking them at all. But the first week of this BC, I was extremely moody, especially day 3. I was mean and grumpy really badly. But then the next day I was fine. I haven't had any other mood swings except I've been a little emotional lately, but I figured it was because I was about to start. My acne has gotten a little worse starting last week, but again I figured it was because I was about to start my period. Other than that, it's been great. Boosted my sex drive tremendously! :) No nausea or diarrhea. So far, I recommend this BC."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill, Isibloom, for 3 weeks now. I started it because I went about 330 days without a period, so I figured it would help. I was breaking out so much, and my hormones were horrible, but surprisingly, with the pill, everything actually balanced out. Now just to see how the period will be..."

For Birth Control "So I used to be on Chateal, but after my insurance coverage ended, I started using The Pill Club. I have hormonal acne. When I did start birth control, my skin was GLOWING, I mean like YouTube skincare guru glowing. When I started Isibloom in Sep, it was okay, but I was getting HUGE zits. A month into using Isibloom and I started experiencing these huge acne build-ups. Literally cystic acne. They hurt so much and took 3+ weeks to go away. It was so painful. Not only that, but I was experiencing huge mood swings. 1-2 months in, and I was literally crying to work about absolutely nothing. I would also break down really easily over stressful things. This birth control also reduced my sex drive to zero. Stayed on this for 3 whole months and literally nothing improved, only got worse. Switched, and literally within a WEEK, I stopped experiencing mood swings and depression, sex drive came back, and my forehead no longer has huge mountains."
