For Birth Control "Be wary of how the effects can change over time! Timeline: First 3 months: Good! Very mild PMS in comparison when mine was awful before, easygoing light period. Months 4-7: Started getting irritable a lot more easily, got annoyed with my boyfriend at the littlest things, hormonal headaches every period, PMS getting worse again. Months 7-12: Totally intolerant of my boyfriend, libido down to 0, PMS WORSE than before, feel paranoid and depressed for a week before the period now. Developed stomach issues too. Months 12-17: No changes, overall mood is bad, feel too sad and paranoid to go out most of the time, cramps more painful, brain fog 50% of the time. I finally went off it about a week or so ago and already my libido is SO much higher, my stomach is feeling a lot lighter, and my mood seems to be improving."

For Birth Control "Absolutely awful. I don’t know why my pharmacy constantly switches my Enskyce out for Isibloom. I take birth control to help reduce period side effects (debilitating cramps, acne, etc.), and Enskyce has been the only one that works for me. Isibloom does the opposite. Isibloom MAKES me break out more — not just with acne, but itchy red bumps all over my face as well, and it also gives me constant cramps even when I’m NOT yet on my period. Isibloom sucks."

For Birth Control "I'm 37 years old and haven't been on birth control for about 10 years. I am having extreme abdominal pain, where I can't even get out of bed. I have missed several days of work, which is ridiculous. My doctor won't change my prescription and has advised giving it another month. I don't believe I will make it another month. Before my periods come about 2 weeks early, I am having horrendous cramping. Besides that, I am nauseous every day. The only plus side is I'm not pregnant!"

For Birth Control "I started Isibloom 3 months ago for constant cramping. The first month was kind of bad considering I couldn't touch my boobs at all. They grew a cup size and hurt so bad to the point that I couldn't wear a bra. My first period lasted one singular day, and it was very strange, to say the least (I'll spare you the details). After the first month, I was fine. I was finally not hurting anymore, and I had a normal period the second month. Now we are halfway into month 3, and my boyfriend is about ready to get rid of me. We have been together for 3 years, he knows when I'm not myself. I have been extremely moody and not just with anger, I cannot for the life of me stop crying. I have been depressed for the last couple of weeks, and even though I have a history of depression and anxiety, I know it's caused by this pill. I haven't had this many episodes since before I met my boyfriend. It has been really hard on our relationship, so I am done taking this medicine. Hopefully, there is another route."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Isibloom for over a month now. I have constant nausea throughout the day. Anything sad makes me cry, it’s definitely affected my emotions. I’ve had one period so far, and my cycle was longer this time around. My cramps were unbearable-something I didn’t deal with before. Headaches are also a constant thing since taking this birth control. I want to give it a chance to see if my body adjusts to it, but it’s definitely been a struggle so far."

For Birth Control "At first, I’ve been taking Cyred EQ, which I love because the side effects were minimal and it did its job well, but after 3 months, my carrier put me on Isibloom (another generic, supposedly the same actives and strengths), and I’ve been taking it for about 2 weeks, and I’ve been spotting nonstop ever since I started taking it. I also have a lot of fatigue, headaches, and cramps. I’m gonna try to get a better brand ASAP. I hate Isibloom so much, and the taste of the pill makes me gag every time I have to take it because it’s too overpowering."

For Birth Control "Isibloom turned my minor cramps into severe cramps so bad that I would throw up. It made my period even heavier than it had been. I wore a super+ tampon and a pad (I never wear pads on my period, tampons had always been enough) and have had to change both the pad and tampon every two hours! I have been bleeding for sixteen days now on this period, and the past two months, I bled for fourteen. I thought it was just my body getting used to the new medication, so I didn't mention it to my OB who had prescribed it, but when I went in for my annual physical, I mentioned it to my primary, and she was very concerned. She ran labs, and I was severely anemic. In terms of mood, I have PTSD and will often get a little down and had been fairly depressed before, but on this medication, my depression was by far the worst it has ever been. My therapist tracks symptoms like this and said I have had a noticeable difference the past three months (which coincidentally is when I started Isibloom)."

For Birth Control "I started taking Isibloom 3 months ago. At first, I didn't feel any side effects, and my acne (which I've been struggling with since middle school and am now 21) totally cleared up! My skin has never looked this good. At the end of my second month, I finally got my period. I have been on my period for 26 days. The first couple weeks of my period were super light, but now they're really heavy, and sometimes the cramps are horrible. I have experienced some nausea, but nothing too major. My boobs have been super sensitive, but I'm not sure if it's the birth control or the fact that I've been on my period so long."

For Birth Control "Currently crying from the pain of cramps!! My doctor prescribed me Isibloom because my period has been late about 4 months, and I also have PCOS, which makes it harder. I’ve only been taking it a month, and I can tell you right now I won’t be taking it ever again! The cramps are almost everlasting, and they are so, so, so bad, so bad I want to go to the hospital because I feel like something is really wrong! The nausea is even worse, I throw up everything I eat almost all the time! (No, I’m not pregnant)! My acne hasn’t cleared, I’ve only been gaining weight, and my mood is always so crappy! Worst ever!"

For Birth Control "Absolutely worst pill I have ever taken. I wish I could rate it a 0. I have never experienced a migraine in my life, and since starting Isibloom, I get them daily, to the point I have to lock myself in a dark room and can’t even open my eyes. In addition to that, my periods became heavier than ever before (used to use normal tampons or a light pad), and I have to use super tampons and a thick pad, switching them every two hours. Worst period cramps I have ever experienced, no medication works to get them away. If you’re considering Isibloom, don’t take it!"

For Birth Control "I took Isibloom birth control pill for about three months and experienced terrible cramps every single day. Also, now I’m pregnant, so it didn’t work for that either."

"I've been on Isibloom for a while now. Didn't have a period for a while now. I've been bleeding and cramping for a month. Anyone know if this will ever stop???? It's getting annoying."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill, it seems like forever. One year, I renewed my prescription, and that’s when I started seeing a change. At first, everything was fine. For about a year or so, I was getting regular 5-6 days of bleeding. Cramps only on the first day. Nothing else serious or major. Maybe slight mood swings, but that’s it. Then, I renewed my prescription, and for some reason (IDK if they changed the pill), everything slowly started getting worse. Acne on my face came back after trying to fight it off for years. My cramps went from one day to many days before I started and days during my period. My period lasts for only 2-3 days. Mood swings are abnormal. I’m crying when I don’t want to cry. My energy is drained before my period starts. It’s hard to concentrate as well. I didn’t get much weight gain while on it, but I have gained some weight. That’s about it."
