For Lichen Planus "I got lichen planus starting this summer season. Biopsy confirmed. I take 2 different blood pressure meds. One a beta-blocker, which I read can cause this. Dermatologist says he has a pill for this. I was supposed to get off the BP meds, and I did for about 2 weeks per med. He says 8 weeks off BP meds. Mom died of a stroke in the ‘90s. So I’m trying again going off metoprolol for 8 weeks. So, I didn’t get the pill because I’m still on BP meds. He asked me about coming back, I told him no, I’ll try again for 8 weeks without BP meds. Metoprolol is an added med for my main blood pressure med, and it does help. So I risk a stroke to try to rid myself of this stuff. Clobetasol 15g tube lasted one week, no help, fluocinolone no help. Used creams about a month. Going to try Emuaid max strength. I did get off my cholesterol med. That did help for the itching, which isn’t as intense as it used to be. CeraVe itch jar cream helps too."

For Lichen Planopilaris "I’m in my upper 50s and was diagnosed with Lichen Planopilaris about 10 years ago. I go through stages of losing my hair. When I start seeing redness and white flakes around my hair follicles, I use Clobetasol and it helps with hair loss, redness, and white flakes. I highly recommend this. I also get Kenalog injections in my scalp every 2-6 months when it gets really bad, but Clobetasol definitely helps."

For Lichen Planus "I was diagnosed with lichen planus about 2 years ago. I started having my teeth cleaned every 3 months, switching from dentist to periodontist. I have been treated with clobetasol and tacrolimus. I have had significant improvement. I had my first visit with the specialist, who said my mouth was a mess. At three months, he was surprised at how well my mouth looked. I, however, didn't understand that I needed to use this for the rest of my life! I went back for a follow-up visit after not having used clobetasol for about 3 months, and he said there is one spot in my mouth which is again a mess. He said this is a pre-cancerous condition and there is no cure."

For Lichen Planus "Works great with my mouth lichen planus. Unfortunately, it is not for internal use. I heard about some patch development by Sheffield University, UK, that can be attached to the tongue. That would be a great idea to try, but I don’t know where and how to purchase them. I will give 5 stars to Dermovate."

For Anal Itching "Like the other reviewers, I had constant itchiness. I was offered fissure cream, lidocaine, and I even tried an online product called Pranicura, but the steroid cream fixed the problem practically overnight. As soon as I used it, the itch was gone within 3 days and hasn’t come back. I can walk down the street without fighting the urge to constantly scratch my rear end."

For Lichen Sclerosus "I have had this problem since I was probably a preteen. I always wondered why one side of my outer vulva was more swollen and just not right looking. I can't believe I've dealt with this for at least 10 years undiagnosed. No one has ever said anything until I went to my doctor, finally complaining. She diagnosed me and prescribed me this ointment. First treatment went great, itching went away completely! Since I have only applied it twice, I'm not sure yet how well it will work. I'm just happy to have a diagnosis."

For Eczema "This product, from what I've seen, does clear dark spots from the skin condition. Regular use, as noted, is not recommended, as it will thin the skin. Do not use on open sores. It works almost like a fading ointment that clears dark spots after the healing has begun."
