Reviews for Calcium carbonate

Lulu · Taken for 1 to 6 months February 16, 2020

For Osteopenia: “El Carbonato de Calcio me produce estreñimiento y molestias gastrointestinales. On the other hand, in most brands, the tablets are too large and rough. Very hard to swallow. I prefer Calcium Citrate that is absorbed faster, does not produce constipation and the tablets are coated. Easy to drink I use the Citralgel brand that also comes with Vitamin D”

Alka-Mints (calcium carbonate) for Indigestion: “These Alka-Mints work as well or better than Tums and are easier to breakup by chewing, also I love the spearmint flavor. No one else seems to make spearmint antacids.”

Alka-Seltzer Fruit Chews (Antacid) (calcium carbonate) for Indigestion: “I've been taking these every day for months now, (mostly because I don't eat much) and it helps a lot! The only downside to it is I have small bowel issues (to my knowledge at least) and these don't help, but the effects are minor.”
