"El carbonato de calcio me produce estreñimiento y molestias gastrointestinales. Por otro lado, en la mayoría de las marcas, las tabletas son demasiado grandes y ásperas. Muy difíciles de tragar. Prefiero el citrato de calcio, que se absorbe más rápido, no produce estreñimiento y las tabletas vienen recubiertas. Fáciles de tomar. Uso la marca Citralgel, que viene también con vitamina D. Calcium carbonate causes constipation and gastrointestinal discomfort. On the other hand, in most brands, the tablets are too large and rough. Very hard to swallow. I prefer calcium citrate that is absorbed faster, does not produce constipation, and the tablets are coated. Easy to drink. I use the Citralgel brand that also comes with vitamin D."
