For Allergic Rhinitis "Can anybody please tell me how long their side effect symptoms lasted? I used Dymista twice a day for 6 days, and I stopped because it was hurting my eye, sinus pain (on top of the brow), blurry vision, headache, earache. I think it caused me panic attacks, anxiety, and feeling depressed as well. It's horrible. I didn't feel like this before using it. I'm wondering if it was the nasal spray or the ear spray (the ear spray definitely hurt my ear when I sprayed it and felt so down after each spray). I just want to get back to normal."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Do not take this spray. I experienced 2 weeks of hell. Massively increased anxiety and panic attacks, depression, blurred vision, headaches, fatigue, restlessness. I thought I was going crazy! I put it down to the anxiety and thought I was just having a relapse. Turns out, it was the steroids in the spray. 1 week off it and my eyesight is slowly returning to normal but still have the anxiety and killer sinus pain. Not recommended."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have been using this for a long time now, maybe 3-4 years. I have tried using it only in the hay fever season. It was a miracle initially. It helped me a lot. Not paying attention really to the side effects led me to my situation now. I am experiencing huge headaches, I sometimes need 2-3 pills to get rid of the sinus pain. The taste is indeed awful. It goes in your mouth, and it feels terrible. I constantly have a sore throat and now even mouth and lips ulcerations. I had no idea it is actually made out of corticosteroids and that they can do that to me. I feel sleepy all the time, have itchiness on my skin, and feel drowsy often. I am only now reading comments and getting my thoughts clear on this. I will stop it immediately and give feedback after some time."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have been suffering from post nasal drip and allergic rhinitis for many years. Dymista worked, but the side effects are bloody awful. Headaches, lack of concentration, felt like a zombie, stopped using it."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have been using this nasal spray for three weeks now, and I have had the toughest time with side effects. I have been having headaches, sleeplessness, rapid heartbeat, and anxiety. Although it has helped with my allergies, I don't think it's worth all of this!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "My ENT recommended Dymista for my seasonal allergies. Got a headache within the first few days. Stopped using it, then went on and off of it again and feel more terrible than before I was using it. Nosebleeds, sinus pressure and blockage, and constantly sniffling. Very unwell, tired, and blocked chest. I have mild anxiety, and I feel more depressed now. So disappointing. Now I just take oral Zyrtec at night only."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I had horrible sinus pressure headaches 3-4 days a week. It got to where OTC medication would only work for 3-4 hours, then the pressure would be back. I went to an ENT who said I had rhinitis and gave me a prescription for Dymista and sent me for allergy testing. Came back, I was allergic to a lot of things. The 1st week on Dymista, I had 2 headaches. By the end of the 1st month, I had not had a headache in 2 weeks. I missed 6 weeks in, and the headache came back. I won't do that again!!! This medicine has been a huge game changer for me. A lot of reviewers talk about the taste. You need to shake the bottle lightly before using, and make sure to look at your toes with your head slightly bent down. Then the spray won't go down your throat."

For Allergic Rhinitis "My ENT prescribed this for me, and it is so totally amazing. I have not had headaches or drowsiness, as mentioned by others. I must be using it properly because I have never tasted it. All I know is my nose is not running all the time, I don't have to always have a tissue in my hand, and I can go for walks without having to pay the consequences of being outside. It is expensive, but I'm worth it! LOL."

For Allergic Rhinitis "My doctor prescribed this instead of the Flonase I've taken for a month. I have severely swollen sinuses, a history of sinus surgeries. After a few days of use, the headache has gotten so bad I have to stop use. I've had more bad side effects than benefits, including painful sinuses and a dry nose. I'm better off without it."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Have used this product a year against my perennial allergy. Interesting reviews, half love it and half hate it. I understand why. It is very effective against allergies but comes with a price. I stopped sneezing almost instantly, so far, so good. The side effects I’ve experienced are the common ones, but one less so. I experienced drowsiness, sleepiness, affected smell and taste, blurred vision, swollen eyes, mouth dryness that affected my teeth, headaches that have made me take far too much headache remedies. Swollen nose passages. Finally, I ended up getting my ear trumpets congested, couldn’t get the air pressure right. A doctor insisted it was my allergy, I never had this problem before, though. Got bad tinnitus and impaired hearing, sound distortions, felt I was going deaf. I have stopped taking Dymista now, and my ears are slowly improving. My sneezing has returned, but I will find other ways to deal with it. I'm 63, need my eyes and hearing."

"Fluid in my ear and blockage. ENT put me on Flonase, prescription, and azelastine. Took it for a week. Also Claritin pill, prescription, and amoxicillin. I got very sick from the sprays. Nauseous, sore in the nose, headaches, dry mouth, can't sleep. I weaned myself off the sprays. Now just amoxicillin and pill. Never again. Back to my ocean saline solution and humidifier."

For Allergic Rhinitis "After suffering from chronic rhinosinusitis on and off for years, I have been prescribed Dymista and immediately, my sinuses and ears felt clearer. However, day 3 onwards, I have felt so fatigued, horrible sinus headache with sharp pains across my head, feeling congested in my ears and heavy eyes. My pharmacist did initially say that I would need to use it for 3 weeks before it really gets to work. And it's only day 6. So I am hoping it gets better soon."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I was prescribed Dymista because I couldn't breathe through my nose. It did clear my nose at first, but I am not taking it anymore because of these reasons: 1) After 3 days, I experienced extreme bouts of excessive and violent sneezing of an intensity that shook my entire body as if I was having a fit. 2) Watery eyes. 3) Flu-like symptoms, including total swelling and blocking of my nasal passages. 4) Itchy back, arms, thighs, and scalp. 5) Headache, and 6) worse still, anxiety of unknown origin. The anxiety hit me on the 7th day. I am not an anxious person, and it felt horrible and weird. I started having odd thoughts and worrying about things like how many books I would be able to read before I died. The anxiety did not make any sense to me or my husband. I was stunned to find that anxiety and depression are a potential symptom. So it is in the bin with the Dymista!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "So, the allergist gave me a sample. I have been using Flonase. The aftertaste is awful, but worse is the subsequent coughing, nausea with vomiting shortly afterwards, and slight headache. Did not realize extra tiredness was also from this. It does feel like the nasal passages are opened up more, but the morning porcelain throne is not worth it. And no, not pregnant! Ain't possible. Definitely will inform MD."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Dymista was recommended by my local GP for sinus congestion. After a week of use, I started feeling extreme fatigue, nausea, and headaches. I literally could not move from my bed, it was horrible. I even went to the emergency room, and no one could figure it out. I started searching for reviews online and read about similar symptoms. I threw the bottle in the bin after 3 days. I've finally started to recover from the fatigue, nausea, and headaches, but I also still have sinus congestion."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Sneezes like 10-20 times after spraying and get a pulsating feeling in my nose. I lose my sense of taste and smell and get terrible headaches from it… along with feeling really tired. Just not worth the side effects at all!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Experienced choking, headaches, and after using for 2 weeks progressively worse nosebleeds. I ended up in the emergency today, my nose is a mess inside. Cauterizations two days in a row, patches put on the area that have been bleeding. Now I can take no nasal spray until everything heals. I have taken Nasonex for several years and like it, but my mail pharmacy stopped carrying it. Threw away 3 containers of the horrible Dymista."

For Allergic Rhinitis "An ENT specialist recently prescribed this to me for a sleep apnea workup, I didn't report rhinitis as I don't consider I have it. Yesterday I suffered from severe colon spasms, nausea, and headache. Today I had (unpainful) loose, urgent motion. I have now looked up the adverse effects of Dymista 125/50 and conclude that this was the cause of the ailments. I thought doctors were supposed to warn you of adverse side effects, to keep an eye out for them! Not happy, lost a day's sick leave, and it cost $50."

For Allergic Rhinitis "The doctor sprayed Dymista up my nose in his office after I told him, if there are side effects, I'm drug sensitive, I will have them. But he said the side effects are rare, and before I knew it, he sprayed, and I only did little sniffs and not a big sniff to get it up very far. The taste was horrible, and I can still taste it hours later. My eyes hurt and feel dry. The eye pain is the worst side effect so far. I have a headache that occurred within 30 minutes after he sprayed. I see far more serious side effects listed. The bottle he gave me is now in the trash, and I left his office a message."

For Allergic Rhinitis "It fixed the pain I had in my upper back teeth from excessive coughing, but the side effects were minimal, and I only used it for two days. The morning after, I started experiencing crusted mucus that sealed my eyes shut overnight, and one nostril was blocked with it. I also began having headaches, which I never experience, within an hour of taking Dymista. On the second day, the glands under the left side of my mouth were swollen, and my eyes became red and puffy, and people asked me if I had been crying. I would need to be brave to consider using it again. Moreover, it was a waste of my time, health risks, and money, costing an astronomical $136 CDN. I do not have any allergies, but this almost made me wonder if my whole body was shutting down. I rate it 1 out of 10."
