For Chronic Pain "I’ve been on all kinds and dosages of hydrocodone, oxycodone, and fentanyl over the past 10 years. Currently back on Oxy for several years. As we all know, when you are late, the pain gets stronger, missing a dose is ill. My pharmacy recently stopped carrying my previous brand and switched me to Rhodes brand - they are crumbly and don’t taste right. These are hit and miss, more miss, and I feel like I’m in withdrawal half the time, not to mention not being able to stand and walk due to the pain. Spoke with my pharmacist and called a new pharmacy, I have to have my doctor switch my preferred pharmacy because they will not transfer the script this month. Why are there no law firms willing to take on these pharmaceutical companies on our behalf?"

For Chronic Pain "I just want to confirm what other people are saying about AMNEAL PHARM brand of acetaminophen/oxycodone - I feel no pain relief whatsoever. And they are so hard to crush because I have to take with pudding. Have to beat them with a hammer first, that’s ridiculous. I’m going to call this company and complain today. I don’t know what good it will do. They, like other companies, are making what feels like placebos, and if you ask the pharmacist, they look at you like you’re crazy. I wonder if these companies are barely putting the actual active ingredients that we need for pain relief or are they only like 10% of what they need to. They make me have withdrawal symptoms. I don’t like it, and they don’t make me itch. Not fair to patients, especially those that are terminal. If you get a good Percocet and it makes you itch, that means they are legitimate. The FDA and DEA really need to check into this."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "Many back injuries, as a child and adult. At 40, I had fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and more. On 8 Advil/day, I experienced much pain. Wonderful old doc said I would blow my kidneys on Advil, so he put me on Percocet 5/325 - it really helped. Later, other MDs put me on a variety of antidepressants. They did NOT relieve my pain (some aggravated it). Side effects were monstrous; so was the withdrawal when I quit. I remain on my Percocet. After 2 decades of careful use, I now take a 10/325 dose, cut them in half and take as needed, averaging 3 pills/day. I can walk, function well, and think straight. No side effects! BEST PAIN MED EVER. My heart breaks for people in severe pain."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "Took the pill every six hours for two weeks after shoulder surgery to deal with the immense pain. It worked! Then I stopped one day. Big mistake. The withdrawal took a week, and I felt like going to the ER. No one told me to taper off. The pain became unbearable again, especially after physical therapy, and now I only take one an hour before PT. Bottom line, it works but is a narcotic so addiction CAN happen, and withdrawal must be executed carefully."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "Been on these meds for 9 years due to a severe back injury. Each MRI was worse than the previous. W/O these meds, I cannot function. The mfg (Rhodes) was changed to KVK Tech. KVK gave me severe diarrhea. My dr said that was impossible. She said I most likely had diarrhea because I’m selling them instead of taking them. I'm on 112 of the 5 mg every 14 days, and I’m having withdrawals. I found out the KVK brand has an extra inactive ingredient, some kind of lactose something, I’m lactose intolerant. My dr cut the quantity in half, believing I was selling them. 2 months on the KVK brand, severe diarrhea non-stop. One morning, the pain was so bad in my leg and back I couldn’t walk and was taken to the hospital and was admitted. MRI revealed a benign growth on my spine and was now pinching nerves. My dr called it arthritis. Years of Rhodes (oxy) seemed to work. Mallinckrodt also worked okay. I just filled 10/325 of Camber, will see if those work. KVK absolutely does not work for me."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "Only in regards to RP10325 Rhodes Pharmaceuticals Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10/325. In chronic severe pain, I've been taking Percocet for years, and it gave me back my life. I was ready to give up until I was finally told that this is what I needed, and some people do need opioids when taken as prescribed. It helped for years. Recently, CVS switched to the Rhodes Pharmaceuticals brand. I talked to the pharmacist, and all she said was that she's out of the normal brand she gets but didn't elaborate. Is there a shortage? Or is this all that's available? The Rhodes brand feels like I'm having withdrawals as well. There is something wrong with this brand, as many others have noted. As someone else suggested, I sent in an online complaint, as if we don't report it, it will never change and be made correctly. I can't believe the fillers would make it not work, and I'm not a scientist, but my back is still hurting after taking the Rhodes brand of Percocet for 2 days."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I too have had chronic pain after a terrible accident and have been on pain medication for decades. When I take CAMBER OXYCODONE HCL 15 MG, they made me sick from withdrawal, nausea, diarrhea, chills, aches, no pain relief, and stuck on them for a month - is there any active ingredient in these? Tell your pharmacy to NEVER give you that brand again. If a chain, DRIVE TO ANOTHER to find a different brand and PLEASE REPORT TO FDA. I have reported this terrible, worthless drug to the FDA. The more reports they get, then maybe they will inspect further, and hopefully do tests on how much active ingredients are in them. I have refused this brand with my pharmacy. I am so sick from them and in terrible pain - I just can't function but have to use them for this month. DEMAND FDA do something. Please, please report. There is a shortage of opioids thanks to junkies, not us people in chronic pain who do what we are told. But if the FDA doesn't stop this company, we may be stuck with only being able to get these TRASH, USELESS PILLS!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have had 3 back surgeries by the time I was 25 years old. I have degenerative disc condition and on top of that, I was involved in an accident at work which resulted in a herniated disc. I went through a discectomy, a spinal fusion, and a correction surgery. Needless to say, I have A LOT of hardware in my back! Percocet was wonderful. It made my recovery bearable and living a somewhat normal life. Unfortunately, I'd been on it for 3 years and then my doctor cut me off cold turkey and told me to take Tylenol extra strength. The withdrawals are awful and I'm still living in awful pain, but I had 3 years with mild to no pain with Percocet!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I find when I do take Percocet for my back problems, they really help. Stopping taking them when I'm not in pain was an issue also. For the withdrawal, I would take a few Tylenol #2 or #3. Really helped. After a week, it was all good and not much withdrawal at all."

For Chronic Pain "I went to Walgreens to pick up my medicine, and when I looked at them, they had changed to the Mallinckrodt brand. I've been taking 10/325 mg of oxycodone for a while. I have been taking the yellowish colored ones. This brand of pills is just like a placebo pill. I have been having withdrawals since the 11th of February because this medicine doesn't help. I called the pharmacist and told her my symptoms, but she said it was a virus. I told her no, it isn't a virus because it started when my medicine was changed. She told me to call my doctor, and I will tomorrow to see what can be done. It's ridiculous for my insurance to have paid almost $300.00 for a medicine that doesn't work at all. I'm very upset over this because I shouldn't be hurting like this. No one should."

For Chronic Pain "Quick note -- avoid Camber. If your pharmacy tries to give you Camber, refuse immediately. I have been taking Endocet due to fillers in other generics that made me feel a bit ill. After having no problems with medications for a year, suddenly Walgreens only has Camber generic for oxycodone. No one seems to have Endocet anymore for some reason, and no one will be getting it for months. After the first 5 days of taking Camber, I went through awful withdrawal. After withdrawal, I went through awful headaches, stomach problems, felt like vomiting, got vertigo, some chest pain. I get no relief from my chronic pain anymore. I can't even go out and do daily activities anymore since my pain is no longer managed."

For Chronic Pain "I have been taking Actavis brand for nearly 10 years due to chronic pain. As many others have stated, they knew something wasn't right with the Camber brand, as I did 2 months ago when I was given this inferior brand. I thought it was just me feeling this way, but last month I got my regular manufacturer, and I knew after the first pill that my conclusion was right because with Actavis brand I actually felt relief again from my pain and my feelings of withdrawal and other strange side effects went away. Unfortunately, I had my wife pick up my meds today for me, and I got the Camber brand again, and already my pain level is up, and like before I feel like I'm going through withdrawal, and it makes my skin feel sensitive and a weird sensation all over. As I said before, the first month I took these, I thought maybe it's just me, but due to all the other patients I've read complaints very similar to mine, these issues are 100% legitimate."

For Chronic Pain "I've been taking oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325 for about 2 years for severe pain. I got my monthly refill and immediately noticed it didn't work. I had taken my morning dose from the old bottle, and it worked just fine. By the next day, I started to experience withdrawal symptoms. I called the pharmacy, and they are unwilling to replace these pills with pills from a different batch. Both the old prescription and new are from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals acetaminophen/oxycodone, but obviously, they have distributed a bad batch."

For Chronic Pain "I voluntarily dropped down to 10 mg Oxycodone from 20 mg to try to change my life for the better. However, Camber 10/325 has caused 3 months of endless withdrawal. STAY AWAY FROM CAMBER! Check your pills before you leave the pharmacy and REFUSE THIS BRAND."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have had 1 discectomy and laminectomy on my left S-1 & -2 discs. After surgery, I was given the peach-colored 7.5/325, and they did wonders. During physical therapy, I herniated my L-4 & -5 on the right. I have surgery in a few days. My neurosurgeon prescribed me 30 of the white generic 5mg/325 percs until my surgery day. These small white round generic 5mg Percocet are complete trash. Yeah, it might slightly ease my back pain for an hour or so, but I personally believe that’s because my mind is concentrating on keeping my food down. Honestly, I’m a recovering addict, and I came off my suboxone for surgery per doctor's orders. You would think Percocet might subdue the withdrawal symptoms, but I’m not even sure if it did. I actually felt worse after I took the Percocet. I’m calling my doctor today and going back to hydrocodone or morphine if he will. I will NOT take another generic Percocet again."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "This medication worked well until they changed brands. I was relieved when I read the comments on Camber Pharmaceuticals. When Walgreens changed, I said I would give it a try. Within several hours, I could tell they were not going to work out. I started having withdrawal symptoms. But unlike some, I only have to wait for 2 weeks before my next script. This brand, Camber, sucks. I hope Walgreens gets the point and changes to someone else. At this time, they have lost my business for that medication."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "It works better than Lortab, I think. It was getting to where I had to take at least 3 Lortab 10 mg just for my pain to go away. Now I am on Endocet 7.5 mg, and it does wonders. The thing is, medicines scare me because I don't want to get addicted, but I have been taking this medicine for a good long time, and I have just recently been coming off of it, and I haven't suffered from one withdrawal. It's awesome."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "Percocet is the only medicine that gives me relief from chronic back pain, sciatica, trochanteric bursitis, fibromyalgia, and restless leg pain. I don't even waste my time on any over-the-counter medicines. Been using on and off for about ten years. I can quit anytime I want without any withdrawal symptoms. I'm very pleased with the way it works for me!"

For Chronic Pain "Usually I take my scripts to CVS because it is closest and stayed open the latest. This last time I went to Walgreens because CVS didn't have them. When anyone is on a pain med for more than 2 weeks, your body is automatically addicted to them, and if you so much as miss a regular dose/time, you will meet an even worse type of pain - aka withdrawals. Within 30 mins, I got really itchy, and my heart started beating fast. I thought it was because I was used to taking meds from CVS. I looked up the pill number, and tons of complaints came up with both the manufacturer and Walgreens. Called my DR to see if I could bring the rest of my script and get one for CVS, but the FDA is now in control, you have to wait 31 days to try to refill narcotics. Been going through withdrawals for the past 3 days. Baclofen and Zofran help a little. This needs to be looked into. It is bad enough the label has a new weird name on the generic bottle, so many people are complaining about the same thing!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "25 teeth pulled and Percocet or Lortabs were the only medicines that would make life, let alone eating, bearable. Unfortunately, doctors like to put you on it long enough to become accustomed to living as pain-free as you can, then cut you off. Withdrawals are the worst for about 5 days, and the mental part of it is much worse."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I had been prescribed Percocet after 2 failed back surgeries. I now have permanent nerve damage in sciatica and my right leg. I found it to be the only thing that worked for me. My primary doctor prescribed it for me for about 6 months and then released me from the practice because she felt that she couldn't prescribe for someone with chronic pain. I had to stop taking them immediately, as I haven't been able to get another doctor. The withdrawal was noticeable but only lasted about a day. Both doctors referred me to Pain Management, but my insurance doesn't cover it. I have been to 2 doctors that have turned me away because my case is 'too complicated,' and now I have to live with NO quality of life. Percocet, to me, was what made me normal."

For Chronic Pain "I am forced now to take Rhodes oxy 10/325 because there is nothing else available in my area. They are not scored, they will not split without crumbling. They do not work nearly as well, and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms I've never had before. I take a half pill every 4 hours because they don't last, and I'm so frustrated. They are garbage."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have not been out of pain for 41 years. I lived at a pain level of 3. Now I have not been able to get any effective pain relievers in well over a year. Living in Florida is a nightmare horror. My life has stopped, I go nowhere, see no one, and worse than that, is no one that can help will help. Had I known about Florida's pill mill problem, I would have never moved here. I have been responsible and am now paying the price for people that could not. Now I can't get brand name meds either, which I would have had to mortgage my house for. Also, I have never gone through withdrawal when medication was stopped."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I tried one time at a different pharmacy because I called beforehand to ask what brand they carried. They filled it grudgingly and made me feel like I belonged under a bridge with a heroin needle. But their brand, Rhodes, was still better than the Alvogen. I switched back to my old pharmacy who knew me for the crappier pills just to save myself the 'shame.' And that is wrong, and I shouldn’t have to do that or feel that way. Asking questions about the brand or asking anything about a narcotic seems to immediately put a label and a target on you. In the rare instance when my pharmacy received a different brand (KVT Tech, Mallinckrodt, Aurolife Pharma) they were all white oblong pills and worked well for my pain management. But of course that didn’t last, and the abrupt switch back to the round yellow Alvogen gave me withdrawals and pain again. I do not want to leave my doc and pharmacy because I have history there that has protected me from the medication shaming that is so rampant."
