For Chronic Pain "I have chronic low back pain as well as fibromyalgia! I have been taking generic Norco for over 10 years, off and on, and never had such horrible side effects in my life as I had when given the Camber brand of acetaminophen/oxycodone. I feel like I have the flu. I wake up with diarrhea, migraines, dizziness, sweats, stomach cramping, feels like my heart's racing while sitting. I’ve called the pharmacy with no help, I also called my doctor and will call my insurance as well. What is in this stuff? Poison fillers. Praying this gets fixed ASAP and they pull this rubbish off the market."

For Chronic Pain "I’m on Percocet 10 for years. I was switched to the Mallinckrodt. I knew they made me sick, but I wasn’t told about the switch. I had to take them all month. Years ago, my father-in-law built a pharmacy building. I got to know the pharmacist and her son on a casual basis. I got my Percocet there one month. I asked the pharmacist's son why they carry a medicine that makes some people have stomach problems. This is what he said: "It’s strictly business. We’re allowed to purchase a pill with 100% active ingredients but as low as 20% less." It’s now 30% less. It is sad that Mallinckrodt was allowed to take 30% of active ingredients out of their formula and makes us sick. Hang in there, chronic patients. We worked all our lives and got hurt, etc., and just want out of pain and a normal life. Thanks."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "My experience began when I was a child. I had very strange headaches, eventually diagnosed as 'ice pick migraines'. They had all the symptoms of the normal migraine you hear about, except they were so painful, my feet would draw up, my eyes would roll back, and I went almost stiff from the pain... nothing helped. When I hit my thirties, I started having issues with my spine, my pancreas, and my kidneys. Percocet is the only therapy out there that keeps me from wanting to die. My blood is thinner, and I have issues, as stated, with my pancreas and stomach, so I cannot take OTC drugs, they make me sick. Very sick. But, of course, no one believes that until they see what happens to me. It's kind of a living hell. I say if we can help, help."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have been on Percocet for 16 years. I started out with low-grade Vicodin. I have taken the name brand with no problems. When they switched me to generic, I had some problems with the way they affected me, they didn't seem to work as well. But when they switched the generic brand to another generic brand, I had an upset stomach and a very bad rash. Sometimes you have to take the name brand instead of generics, even though they say the generics are the same, they are not. I could tell the difference, but I have tried OxyContin and had a very bad itching and a rash, so I guess I'm stuck on them. I have days I take more than I'm supposed to in the morning and do without later, but the pain is so bad it's almost suicidal."

For Chronic Pain "I’ve never looked up a medication before, but I have chronic arthritis of the spine, and it’s only getting worse. I didn’t look at my medication, I just assumed it was the same as usual. I always take a half dose in the morning and half a dose approximately every three to four hours throughout the day. I only need 25-30 mg a day to get me through my day. Well, today something was off. I started feeling so much pain, I had stomach cramps, and my spine and shoulders could barely move. I couldn’t believe I was taking another half a dose within another hour and a half. Then I felt nauseated. I took the bottle and looked at the pills and saw they were not the same. I am a half a dose away from my full daily dose and feel no effects from this medication. I just took an entire pill, something I haven’t done since my spine surgery 5 years ago. I can barely move, and my legs are starting to ache. I thought they gave me placebos, so I looked them up. I will no longer get my prescriptions at CVS."

For Chronic Pain "This ALV brand is horrible! Makes me feel so sick. They were out of my regular oxycodone and gave me this crap. I don't want to take it. I'm in more pain. Headache, an upset stomach, and feel like I have the flu."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I have really bad back pain, and at such a young age, I take Percocet four times a day, and it allows me to sleep and work, whereas other medications just made my stomach upset. I would rate it a 9 for the relief it gives you. I honestly felt like I could not function anymore, I was in so much pain, and now I enjoy walking. I don't have to stop every 10 minutes to catch my breath from my pain."

For Chronic Pain "RP10/325 white oxycodone, made by Rhodes Pharm., is highly ineffective for the treatment of pain, this medication should be removed off the market. It causes stomach problems, irritability, and sleepiness. It really has only added to and aggravated my pain rather than helping to manage it. I don't know if it is the hydrochloride or what, but this is the worst pain medication ever, and I will be taking mostly Motrin this month and avoiding being active in an effort to manage my pain until my pharmacy gets me my more regular brand of prescribed pain medications and will only take one of these horrible ineffective pills at bedtime to ensure I don't suffer from opioid withdrawals so that I can go to work. This is all that this medication is good for, is simply to ensure that you don't get withdrawal symptoms until next month when I can get a decent brand of medication again."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I have 4 herniated discs and 4 bulging discs with bone spurs. I am only 46, I clean for a living and need to work. I will eventually need surgery, but Endocet keeps me moving for now, free from stomach upset. However, this drug is very addictive and keeps me moving as if I am functioning like a 'normal' person. However, my loving doctor is managing this whole process and will help me wean off of this amazing drug that I have the utmost respect for. I don't take anything else and need to stay on this drug until I get through my surgeries and post-operative care. I am hopeful that I will eventually no longer need this drug, but it is the only option I have right now to get me through my days. I am afraid but hopeful the surgeries will help."

For Chronic Pain "Quick note -- avoid Camber. If your pharmacy tries to give you Camber, refuse immediately. I have been taking Endocet due to fillers in other generics that made me feel a bit ill. After having no problems with medications for a year, suddenly Walgreens only has Camber generic for oxycodone. No one seems to have Endocet anymore for some reason, and no one will be getting it for months. After the first 5 days of taking Camber, I went through awful withdrawal. After withdrawal, I went through awful headaches, stomach problems, felt like vomiting, got vertigo, some chest pain. I get no relief from my chronic pain anymore. I can't even go out and do daily activities anymore since my pain is no longer managed."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "This is a comment directed at one specific manufacturer, Camber Pharma. 31722 I have been on this strength medication for a couple of years and manage fairly well until my insurance insisted this manufacturer is all they will allow. I now get headaches and an upset stomach and do not feel it is as effective for the pain as Percocet in non-generic form. This formula just does not work and is not worth the side effects."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "Generic drugs can be produced by several different pharmaceutical manufacturers, and more than likely, if you look up the ingredients from each one, you will find that they all use different binders, fillers, and such. Because of this, your experience with these drugs may include nausea, nervousness, upset stomach, etc., so my suggestion is that if you take a generic drug and are having problems or it isn't 'doing what it's supposed to do,' you may want to ask your pharmacist to change suppliers for you. In regard to generic Percocet, I had this problem. Yes, they did relieve my pain, but some did it better than others, and several made me 'nervous' and gave me an upset stomach. Most pharmacists are aware of this difference."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "My pharmacy ran out of my usual brand of Percocet and gave me this one in its place. It is awful. I did not get one bit of relief from my pain with this brand. There is no narcotic in this at all. I even took 2 at a time and nothing. It only hurt my stomach and made my heart race for a minute. I am not happy and now have to wait 28 days until I can get another prescription."

For Chronic Pain "I was switched from Endocet pill imprint E 712 (Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc.) to a generic. The generic has made me sick with diarrhea, horrible RLS and RAS. I am literally going through withdrawal taking this medication, stomach cramping, goose bumps. Someone take these off the market, they are horrible. Do these even have any acetaminophen or oxycodone in them?"

For Pain "I take generic Percocet - 30@5 mg every 6 months, so I'm not a heavy user. My former generic pills worked perfectly. Recently, I had Walgreens fill the prescription, and I discovered that their new manufacturer, Cambra, has a product that turns blue, even when stored properly in the bottle, is less effective in controlling pain, and causes stomach issues, headaches, and nausea. I experienced these side effects, and a quick look at where this pill was rated, the majority of reviewers reported similar reactions. I researched why the pills turn blue. (I thought I had been given counterfeit pills or molded pills). A blue dye has been inserted to prevent misuse, but I can't see how that would deter them. I read that the FDA as of 2017 will not approve dyes for the pills due to reactions such as what I had. Why would a respected pharmacy like Walgreens carry such an inferior and potentially dangerous product? Many have reported these issues, so I know they are aware."

For Pain "My issues are L-1 thru L-5, all bulged L-4 annular tear, arthritis in lower back. Took 10-500 hydrocodone with acetaminophen for 12 years, @ 3 a day, then the laws changed and had to go every month for drugs at the pain clinic, where I told them the meds only upset my stomach and didn’t help. So, I was changed to oxycodone with acetaminophen 10-325, 3x a day, along with epidural, facet injections, rhizotomy, and SI injections. I had no real relief and finally had a second opinion from a spine specialist that gave me meloxicam 7.5 and therapy - no more opioids, never any real relief from the opioids."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "Been in pain management for 8 years. Until 2 weeks ago, I was taking 120 mg methadone along with 5 x 30 mg oxycodone a day. I have spinal stenosis, DDD, DJD, post laminectomy syndrome, osteoarthritis in knee, spine, and shoulder. I missed a pill count and was discharged. 2 weeks later, I finally got into another pain management clinic, and he puts me on 4 Endocet 10/325 a day. Nothing in comparison to what I was on, but it was my first visit, so I wait. My first day on it, and it already makes my stomach upset, but it was worth it to get anything."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I had my tonsils out a little over a week ago at the age of 30. My doctor prescribed Percocet for the pain, and although it helped my severe throat and ear pain almost instantly, it was very hard on my stomach. After 2 days, I had to stop taking it due to the amount of nausea I was experiencing. As a pain reliever, it worked wonders, just be sure to eat before you take it to avoid an upset stomach."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I had my jaw broken in two places in a car wreck. My doctor gave me tramadol and Percocet. Percocet is a wonder drug that has a bad name from others abusing it. It took my pain away totally and did not upset my stomach. Percocet is great for pain, but it's harder to get than other drugs that are more dangerous."

For Chronic Pain "On 10 mg of codeine for years. Using only as needed, avoiding the need for an increased dose. The pill from Amneal is worthless. Doesn't touch the pain, barely stops withdrawal symptoms. In February 2021, BCBS recalled coverage due to failure to meet FDA guidelines. Nothing else has been done. CVS claims it's the only version they carry, their website says otherwise. Have a call into my doctor. Waiting. Don't know what to do. This pill really screws with your stomach. I'm hurting so much I can barely dress myself. Beyond upset. Needing help. Contacting an attorney."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I have been taking 10/650 for 5 weeks. I think they are good for the pain, but they are too strong on my stomach. That's why I rate them an 8. I like the 10/325 better. With the 10/650, I have to eat a very large meal, if not, I get very ill. I'm going to ask my doctor for the Percocet 15, they are smaller and have less acetaminophen, which is better for my body."

For Pain "I had a herniated disc and take Percocet 5/325 to manage pain, and it makes it possible for me to have a good day. If you don't stay ahead of the pain, then you will have a difficult time getting the pain back under control. I have been on Percocet since August 2012, and dry mouth and sweating are my side effects. I take Phenergan for nausea and upset stomach. I take with my dosage of 1.5 tablets every 8 hours. I worry about withdrawal, but the pain made me nonfunctional. It is the lesser of two evils. I had back surgery, but my nerve was 'mangled,' so my recovery time is longer than expected."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "I use Percocet 5's as needed for shoulder instability (subluxations/dislocations). Although it works well for pain, I find that I don't like the stomach upset, lightheadedness, or nausea while on it. Eating something helps somewhat. I seem to have issues with all drugs of this type, so perhaps this is just me."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Pain "My husband had his wisdom teeth surgically removed a few days ago. His doctor prescribed this medicine for the pain, and he says it really helps him. They were giving him this in the hospital, and he went from a 7 to a 2. I say it does what it is supposed to do very well. He hasn't had any upset stomach problems yet, but it does put him to sleep."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone for Chronic Pain "I have been on multiple pain meds for scoliosis and a previous break. This works better than the fentanyl patches, and way better than the MsContins I was on. They don't make me feel groggy or have an upset stomach. Highly recommended."
