For Birth Control: Thankfully everyone else on here has been recently sharing a same experience as I have with Tri Femynor. I was on June fe before and everything was fine, but then my doctor switched me to Tri Femynor to help with acne and my acne has never been worse in my life. Been on the pill for 8 months now and I break out nearly every day. I also follow a strict diet and eat very clean because of my type 1 diabetes, but I randomly gained 15 pounds over the past couple months as well. I am definitely switching back to a lighter pill. |

For Birth Control: I wanna start by saying people usually only write these reviews if they are unhappy. Your body could react differently you just never know until you try it. I used Nexplanon for about 3 months. Almost immediately I would get these waves of nauseousness and I would feel like I needed to throw up, and diarrhea at the same time. My entire body would severely sweat and my heart would beat like crazy. Later, I found out it was actually just a panic attack. Anyway, these nausea waves lasted a good 2 weeks, and then completely stopped. And everything was great. No period. No nausea, no depression. Absolutely nothing and I was very happy. Then.. just about 2 weeks ago my anxiety has become so bad that I literally can not leave my house. The nausea is back, I have crying spells and I seriously just feel HORRIBLE mentally. Prior to this, I do have a long history with mental illness, but never like this. I’m removing it tomorrow for my own health. For Birth Control: I got my first nexplanon in 2016 and had it in for a little over three years. First couple years were great, my period stopped. Towards the end of the 3 year mark I started getting more migraines, had two burst ovarian cysts and was irregularly bleeding. I thought it was just because the hormone level had gone down so I got a new nexplanon reinserted. 2 months into the new one and I lost all sex drive. Read forums like crazy and was astonished to see people feeling the exact same way. Didn’t even want to be touched. Looking back, I did have increased anxiety and hadn’t felt like myself for awhile. Times when I should’ve been happy but wasn’t. If you feel like you aren’t quite feeling yourself, don’t discount it!! Great for preventing pregnancy and worked for me for awhile but everyone’s body is different. Waiting to see how I feel without it before potentially getting a copper iud. |

For Birth Control: I started on trinessa in high school and had never had acne before, that is when I developed some break outs occasionally. About a year ago I was switched to Tri femynor (thanks to my insurance dropping trinessa) and I have slowly developed feelings of anxiety/depression. I handle stress so much worse than ever before and my acne has sky rocketed. In the last 3 months it has been unbearable. Everyone is different and I believe the dosage between trinessa and tribal femynor is the same (both norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) so I do not see why I would see this drastic changes. I have never had feelings of severe depression/anxiety before and I am definitely not easily worked up. Just wish I would have been able to talk to my doctor about it before the switch occurred or talk about other options. If your pharmacy is switching you out of the blue I would recommend sitting down with your doctor first so you feel most comfortable and informed about what is going into your body!
