For Ulcerative Colitis: 3rd infusion next week of Entyvio seems to be helping the Ulcerative colitis (UC) but the attendant proctitis is very much the same (urgency, frequency). No major side symptoms but for serious fatigue. Why was I put on Entyvio before trying another drug? |

For Ulcerative Colitis, Active: Starting taking Lialda about a month and a half ago and it took a couple of weeks to start working. As soon as it started working I felt great no more stomach pain, no more blood, no more diarrhea oh finally something that help take the pain away I was shocked at how good it worked. But then I should have known it was to good to be true about four weeks into it. My beautiful hair started falling out in clumps every time I washed it or even brushed it. I mean it was a lot every time I would cry. Also the muscle aches were the worst. I would sit for maybe 10 minutes and go to get up and almost fall over because my legs almost gave out. Other then that it works great for the pain but I can't take the side effects so I'm going to be switching medicines. For Ulcerative Colitis, Active: Taking Lialda 2 pills twice a day lots of bloating, diarrhea, losing hair ... time to call dr . Been on this med for almost a year ... now that he upped it feel it got worse |

For Ulcerative Colitis: Have been on vedolizimab for over 2 years now and it has been amazing at eliminating all gut-related symptoms (I have Ulcerative Colitis). But Over the 6 months or so though, I've been experiencing weird and horrendous neurological symptoms. Tingling, crawling and burning as well pain and weakness. Seriously considering trying a new drug.
