For Schizophrenia "My mom has been on it a good 13 years. Over the years, I've watched my mom turn into a zombie-like person who can't do anything for herself. She barely eats but constantly needs to drink fluids. She hallucinates all day and night when she's not asleep, talking to people who aren't alive or thinking babies are in her bed. I'm studying up, hoping to make a change to her meds. In my opinion, Geodon slowly kills the body. Geodon, Haldol, Benztropine slowly kills."

"My doctor started me on this medication, and I have started gaining weight, hallucinating, and paranoia, which is debilitating. I only have ADHD, so I’m not sure why he added this medication. At first, I just slept all the time, but as the two doses a day started, I experienced not normal mental behaviors."

For Bipolar Disorder "My daughter was prescribed this devil drug for some mood issues and heart irregularities. It went to a psychotic level, and she had to get off the drug after two months. Caused massive heart problems, bleeding from the head, nose, throat, and stomach, softball-sized bruising that just appeared, migraines, psychosis, cramps in the hands that were unbelievable, massive blood pressure and diabetic fluctuations, false labor, blood clots, pneumonia, pericarditis, and the toughest three weeks of our lives. My research shows so many people try to get off this drug, and most do not. It is a 24-hour-a-day process, using massive medical support from people who care and should be taken off the market except for its prime use, which is schizophrenia."

"I've been on ziprasidone for 4 years now for borderline personality disorder, and at first, I thought it was wonderful. Late last year, I developed an involuntary clenching of my jaw and teeth grinding, it's absolutely horrible, my whole face contorts. About 2 months ago, my psychiatrist said to stop taking it. I went downhill very fast, I suffered anxiety like I've never had before, and suffered a psychotic episode and became acutely unwell. I also fell asleep while driving, causing havoc. I was unable to get into my psychiatrist for two weeks and started taking Zeldox again. When I did see my psychiatrist once again, he said to stop the Zeldox as it was getting dangerous. That was 2 weeks ago, and I'm going through such a bad time trying to kick this drug. I was on 40 mg morning, 40 mg night, I have managed to get down to one a day. I'm very depressed, my thoughts are bad, I can't sleep at times, other times I cannot stay awake. My children had to move in with their dad. I've been unable to work and now in financial hardship."

Ziprasidone for Bipolar Disorder "I had a terrible reaction to this medication. It brought back symptoms that I haven't had for years and hallucinations. I felt crawling on my skin and heard voices for the first time in two years."

For Bipolar Disorder "Ziprasidone (antipsychotic) is the best medication that happened to me. All hallucinations are gone, haven't really gained weight. The only negative side effects are that I feel the need to be moving constantly (could be my ADHD), and I get knocked out within 3 hours of taking the high dose (60 mg) at night. But if I time it right, I can fall asleep at the right time. Caffeine does not reverse the sedation, by the way. I recommend having peanut butter with this. But otherwise, it has been amazing, the positives outweigh the negatives."
