"I started using Trospium about 6 weeks ago and going to PT for pelvic floor therapy. Immediately, I noticed that I no longer had urinary frequency nor the occurrences that made me rush to the bathroom hoping that I'd make it. I did experience dry mouth, and one day I was so fatigued that I could hardly function. Now, I continue to experience lesser fatigue and dry mouth. I tried two other medications first and neither worked, and one was quite expensive. The pelvic floor therapy is harder to measure, but I am sure that it has helped also. My body is much stronger which leads me to believe that my pelvic floor muscles are stronger too. I don't have a good history with medications and experience bad side effects with many of them. At this point, I am quite happy with Trospium."

"6 years ago I started to experience frequent urination and was unable to put off going. Was prescribed various medications, all of which failed to offer any respite. All tests came back clear. GP prescribed Trospium, and I took this for two years, and it cut down on visits to the loo, although the feeling never went away. 2 years later, Amitriptyline was added, and the next 2 years passed with a bit of the edge taken off. Then advised to discontinue Amitriptyline and just use Trospium due to difficult and painful urination. Been advised I have hypersensitive neurologic bladder. Try to come off Trospium and prescribed Pregabalin. One week off Trospium, and OAB symptoms, such as burning, frequent urination, all returned. Back on Trospium, start Pregabalin tonight."

"Unstable drug - taken for three nights, which worked well, got some sleep and big improvement in how many times I had to get up to urinate. 4th night, the pill made me hyper, like I was on a strong diet pill. Did not sleep all night. I urinated all night long, too many times - heartbeat was not normal and beating too fast. Today, exhausted from no sleep, no energy, tried to sleep but could not, heartbeat still not normal - does not make sense. Unstable drug, will not take it again, and RX will not return my money for not being able to use it."

Trospium "I had tried other medications for overactive bladder, and nothing worked until Sanctura. It took a little over a month to start working, but now my bladder feels completely normal! So thankful!"
