"I've been using Zilretta for 5 years or more, even before they were bought out by Pacira, and have had no problems. My injections usually last me between 3-4 months. After an injection, the pain is gone within hours. Zilretta may not work for everyone, but it works for me and I'll swear by it. I'm 67 and I'm still going to need a knee replacement, but until then it's Zilretta for the pain."

"I have been getting steroid injections in both knees since 2010. My doctor discussed trying this drug due to my diabetes because it is supposed to not raise blood sugar numbers after the injections like other steroids do. But, leave it to me to be different, I received my injections last Thursday, and my blood sugar numbers have been on the upside of 300 since last Friday. So, I guess this medication is a no for me."

"I was diagnosed several years ago with osteoarthritis in both knees. I tried multiple medications, other types of injections (including PRP), pain patches, knee braces, and physical therapy - with no lasting or significant relief. I feared I would have to stop traveling. My doctor finally prescribed Zilretta. I felt as if I never had knee pain. I could walk 10 miles a day, actually do the exercises that helped strengthen my knees, climb stairs, and stop taking the NSAIDs that not only didn’t work but caused kidney damage. Zilretta has allowed me to continue to travel, to exercise, and to avoid knee replacement. It’s been a miracle medication for me."

"Works great. Took two weeks to kick in. Used for osteoarthritis, right knee. Not sure how long it will last, but it’s been almost two months. Definitely will get the injection again when it wears off. No side effects."

"Lasted about a week. I am trying to put off a knee replacement. Last option was Zilretta after having 3 cortisone shots."

"I'm on my second year of Zilretta every four months for my left knee. Without it, I require a cane to get around. It takes a day to provide relief to my knee."

"I received 2 injections over a 10-month period to help before TKR for my right knee. Worked like a charm. I've received 5 injections over a 3-year period, on my left knee trying to postpone the next knee replacement. Took a trip to Italy this year and walked a couple of miles a day with a knee brace. Outside of soreness after injection, I've had no other side effects. Would highly recommend."
