For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Zepbound (tirzepatide) is amazing - if you are not losing much on semaglutide, see if your doctor will let you try tirzepatide. I’ve been on Zepbound seven months and I’m down 55 pounds. Took 2.5mg the first month and then spent 5 months on 5mg. Just moved up to 7.5mg this month and it has totally killed my appetite. Main side effect for me is fatigue, especially the day of the shot and the next couple of days. I plan to stay on 7.5 until I reach my goal weight and then go on maintenance. I will have to keep taking it - otherwise it is likely I will gain all the weight back. Yes, it is expensive but worth it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Since starting Zepbound 13 weeks ago to shed 60 pounds, I've gradually increased from 2.5 mg to 10 mg. It's effective, but sleepless nights have become my unwelcome companions, especially on the higher doses. Heartburn and that uncomfortable chest sensation are no picnic either. Despite dropping 30 pounds, I feel drained—fatigue, dizziness, and concentration issues plague me. To tackle these side effects, I'll either stick to 10 mg or drop to 7.5 mg. But with a $1,000 monthly price tag and the hassle of hunting down my prescription, quitting Zepbound crosses my mind. Yet, the thought of returning to the weight loss battle isn't enticing either. Swapping out heavy meals for light options like chicken and soups helps ease discomfort, but what I really crave is a solid night's sleep. I'm giving it one last shot, tweaking my diet and powering through my remaining doses before deciding—is it worth it?"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound 3 weeks ago, and I have to say I feel remarkably well and really am enjoying how it has decreased my appetite and kept me on track with my high-protein and low-carb diet. I am losing 2.7 pounds a week and am also using MyNet Diary to track my intake. My BP has dropped 12-15 points, and the swelling in my legs is gone. I’m using 5 mg weekly and haven’t had side effects. First time in years I’ve felt so well. I’m psyched that I can finally reach my goals."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "5’1”, 180 lbs, 63 yrs. old female, BMI 34%. History of cardiac disease and hypothyroidism. I’ve been taking the 2.5 mg dose for six months with virtually no worrisome side effects. I do experience unusual tiredness within 8–12 hours of each dose. Who doesn’t enjoy a good nap, yeah? I'm currently experiencing moderate hair loss, which is a concern. I consulted my PCP, who agreed we should rule out other potential causes such as a recent change in thyroid medication, nutrient deficiencies, or age before deciding the next step in my weight-loss journey with Zepbound. My current weight is 142 lbs. That’s 38 lbs (an approximate 1.5 lbs/week or 6 lbs/month) weight loss over six months. It’s just the boost I needed. According to the CDC, losing 1–2 lbs per week is a healthy weight loss goal. It’s reassuring to know that my weight loss is at a healthy pace at the lowest effective dose of Tirzepatide. Thank you, Eli Lilly, for the Zepbound coupon card ($25 co-pay)."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've just started 2 and a half weeks ago, and I've lost 5 pounds. I do the work, though. Eat healthy, lots of water, and 10,000 steps a day. I'm only on 2.5 (starter dose). I'm being titrated up to 5 mg in another week. ZERO SIDE EFFECTS. Been trying for 5 years to lose the last 40 pounds after an illness. THIS IS WORKING. Excited for the future. Will update."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound two months ago. When I started, I weighed 248, and this morning I weighed myself at 226. However, my stomach pain side effects are seriously starting to disrupt my life. I will not be continuing medication. It is not even worth it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "16 weeks now on Zepbound. I am down 27 lbs. 5’5’ 170 lbs now 143 lbs. Had high cholesterol. This is a great product but you have to be ready to eat healthy too. Protein shake in the am. Protein bar in the afternoon. Try Fuffil bars. Walmart sells them, they are amazing. Salads, salmon, pork, chicken, veggies for dinner. Try Sobol, they have a great green smoothie and healthy fruit options. Kodiak products are good too. No side effects, but I chose to stay at 5 mg. No need to go up. I have so much energy now, work out 6 days a week. It’s a new me, and I’m loving it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 64, 5’2” tall and weighed 210 when I started Zepbound with 2.5 mg on January 15, 2024. I had no side effects with 2.5 and lost 12 pounds the first month. I went up to 5.0 ml and still no side effects but lost only 5 pounds that month. Went up to 7.5 and started having mild nausea, diarrhea, and indigestion. Lost another 10 pounds that month. I'm on week 2 of 10 ml. Side effects are much worse. I've lost a total of 35 pounds but in week two my stomach physically hurts, nausea is much worse and so is diarrhea. I think I will not be able to complete the next two doses on 10 ml so looking to drop down to 5.0 for maintenance and hopefully continued weight loss."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have only taken it for 5 weeks. I have had a lot of nausea and acid reflux. Hopefully, they go away, but when I started, I weighed 174, and 5 weeks later, I am at 165, so it's working. Side effects seem to be decreasing, so I'll keep going for now."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am an active-duty Army soldier. I have multiple physical problems after a long military career. I am pleased to learn that the Army now pays 100% for Zepbound. The max dosage they will provide, though, is 5%. But still, free is free. There is a huge benefit to being in the military that I did not know existed. It has helped me lose 20 pounds so far. The only negative side effects I have had are LOTS of trips to the bathroom daily and headaches when I first started to take it. Twice I showed purple bruising at the injection site. I have to drink LOTS of water daily and increase my protein intake. Good-tasting protein shakes help meet that goal."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound 5 days ago. I am feeling fine without any side effects as of now, although I do have nightmares, and they just started the night of the first injection and have continued each night. I am a healthcare professional for more than 50 years and enjoy reading about medications, especially ones that I am taking, and I am interested in more reading material."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Miracle drug. I have been able to be in a calorie deficit for the past 1.5 years. I have lost 50 lbs, and I am getting closer and closer to my weight loss goals, which I'll be able to hit this year. I am fortunate to not get any intense side effects. I'll likely be on this medication for life."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have lost over 35 lbs in 5 months. I started at the 2.5 and have worked up to the 10. Zepbound is incredibly effective at assisting with the weight loss. Greasy fatty foods definitely upset my stomach now. The first day post-shot, I am super tired and have a very mildly upset stomach, after that, it’s fine. I am freezing all the time, so for sure take a jacket wherever you go! I am not starving and do not have cravings at all. Staying hydrated seems to help with curbing the initial side effects. Initially, I found myself hardly eating just because I wasn’t hungry. I had to make a concerted effort to make myself sit down and eat. Protein and veggies made me feel a ton better and didn’t result in any digestive discomfort. It really was a trial and error. Alcohol is not your friend, even 1 or 2 drinks makes me feel awful. I ended up naturally having a cleaner diet and drinking a lot more water just to minimize the digestive side effects."

For Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I started taking Zepbound in September of 2024. At that time, I was about 70 pounds overweight. I started at 2.5 mg, was raised to 5 mg, then 7.5 mg, and now I'm on 10 mg. I have been able to tolerate it reasonably well. Since I started using it, I would say I have lost over 50 pounds. The medicine definitely has changed my eating habits. I still probably eat more sweets than I should, but not nearly as much as I used to. I have GERD and severe heartburn, and I'd say the medicine does negatively affect that, but I have been on Prilosec or another one of those meds for nearly 10 years, so I am at least able to manage it. If I don't take the Prilosec, I oat dearly. One other thing I have noticed most recently is a metallic taste in my mouth and some hair loss. Sometimes the taste is stronger than others, and I did not notice it until my dose went up to 10 mg. Another thing I noticed is that I have lost a lot of muscle as well as fat. I do get lots of compliments about my weight loss."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound at 2.5. My weight was 249 and I'm 5'2''. I've lost 34 lbs starting in July. I went up to 7.5 and was doing great. Then the third dose, all the side effects started in spades. I started vomiting, no appetite, tired all the time. I drink water all the time (and I'm a reformed soda drinker). I'm suddenly itchy all the time. The weight loss has slowed down. But I'm not giving up in order to get my knee replacement. This comment section makes me feel like I'm not alone. Thanks for listening. Oh, the one thing that could make me quit is the price is ridiculous! I'm running out of money."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It’s causing swelling of my lips within 2-3 hours of injection. Swelling lasts 12-24 hours, then recedes, but I’m left with a feeling of dried, cracked lips. Especially on the side of the mouth. No swelling of the tongue, throat, or face."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Zepbound was life-changing. After 4 months, I am down 67 lbs. The food noise is gone, and my life doesn't revolve around food anymore. I do not use food to self-medicate. I use food to live for the first time. After regaining weight 25 years after a gastric bypass, this changed my life. I had some minor headaches but really no other side effects except weight loss!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "56 yr female, 257 lbs (20 years post gastric bypass). Started Zepbound 11/3 2.5 mg. Lost 12 lbs in the first 4 weeks. Minimal side effects until week 3-4. Felt dizzy, headaches, lethargic though likely due to not enough calories. 1st 5 mg dose yesterday and feel great so far. Absolutely no food noise or cravings since the 1st shot. No issues at all with the injection site or pain. Will stay at 5 mg as long as I can before increasing. This medication has been a life changer for me. I was hesitant due to reported side effects as I researched for over a year before I decided to move forward. My insurance denied, I appealed and got the decision overturned. Meds currently covered at 100%, thankfully. I am exercising though I have always walked. I am not a big eater to start with, the difference is I no longer crave foods. I eat because I have to, so I make better food choices. Looking forward to continuing on the path I am currently on."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "After struggling with my weight loss journey for what feels like forever, I finally decided to try Zepbound a month ago. I’ve experimented with countless weight-loss pills, even attempted fasting and various diets, but nothing seemed to work. It was frustrating! Thankfully, my doctor recommended Zepbound, and I can already feel a positive change, especially regarding my pre-diabetes. This has truly been a game changer for me!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on the shot for 5 months now, and at first, the appetite suppression was strong, with no side effects. After I went up in dose month two, I had extreme bloating and nausea to the point where I nearly took myself to the emergency room. Since then, the side effects have gone down, and the only one I deal with regularly is heartburn. Ask your doctor for Zantac and keep it and Tums on you at all times. Thankfully, it has mostly subsided, and I'm down 80 pounds with moderate exercise in 5 months. I have basically 0 appetite most days and have grown to work with it. I'd give it a 4/5. It's not easy, but if you're serious about losing weight and taking back control of your body, do it. Make sure you work out and follow a strict diet while you're doing it to get the most out of the medication. ALSO! Go to the manufacturer Lilly's website and sign up for the savers card. Saves me $300 a month with insurance."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have just started Zepbound 2.5 - 3 days ago. The injection did not hurt - in fact, I didn't feel it at all. I have not had any side effects that I noticed. I have noticed I have no appetite. I'm going to keep a diary of what I eat so I make sure I get enough protein. Also, I started taking a gummy multivitamin. I will check back and keep you all apprised of my progress!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It has been incredible! I’m losing about a pound a day in the first two weeks. Zero negative effects, all positives! I’m paying for it completely on my own, about $1,200 a month. It’s helping me get back into my healthy habits with exercise. I’m feeling very satisfied, even at this price."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 5'2" and 46 years old. I started Zepbound on 8/20/2024 at 166 pounds. I took the 2.5 mg dose for one month, then increased to 5 mg in Oct. and Nov. I had very mild side effects, and I steadily lost weight until last week. I have now increased to the 7.5 mg dose, and the nausea and diarrhea are pronounced. I'm down 30 pounds, but I may switch back to the 5 mg dose if the side effects don't subside."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far it’s working well. I’ve been on it for 5 weeks and lost about 25 lbs. I started at the 2.5 for the first four weeks, then this week was 5.0. I haven’t had many side effects, just really making sure I’m eating a lot of fiber. Staying away from as much refined sugar as possible, very little bread, no soda, low-fat milk, and not much. Basically meat, vegetables, and fruits. It really does curb appetite, and be careful not to eat too much or too fast, you can feel your stomach has slowed, it’s kind of crazy. A couple of times I had some gas pains but not bad and a slight aching feeling. Those are the only symptoms I have experienced. I think so far it’s worth it. I feel so much better and really have more energy! I needed something to help me get started, and seeing and feeling the difference has encouraged me to keep going and make life changes for the future. My plan is to lose more weight and change my lifelong habits. I really recommend it to anyone who needs a jump start, it really helps."

My symptoms have been varied but mostly feel like morning sickness. Usually the 2nd day after the injection. Due to insurance, I do 3 months on each 2.5, 5, and on the 3rd week of 7.5. This one hit me worst, nauseous for 3 days now."
