For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Ten days on Zepbound. Love this medication. The energy it gives you is amazing. 1st day injection in thigh developed bruise and slight nausea and headache. But no biggie. 2nd shot belly super easy. Takes away urge to eat. No more stomach grumbling when hungry either. I have a protein shake in the morning, mid-morning protein bar, little bites throughout the morning. Small lunch and salmon or chicken for dinner. Veggies and fruit are important. No issue with bathroom. I take a fiber gummy and multivitamin daily. Treadmill and gym. After showering, I've been using lots of lotion on skin, massaging in. You'll be fine. Smart choices in foods. Yogurt gave me nausea as did tuna with mayonnaise. 6 lbs so far."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Absolutely life-changing. For the first time in my life, I'm satisfied by reasonable portions. I'm not always thinking about the next thing that I'll be eating. I'm able to feel and respond to my actual hunger cues without my scarcity brain taking over. Even if I wasn't losing weight, the relief of food obsession and binge eating disorder would be worth it. "Started with 2.5, been on it nearly three weeks, anticipated side effects but other than mild constipation, I experienced none. My appetite was nonexistent, had to remember to eat. Night eating gone, overeating gone, strong cravings gone. Injection easy peasy. Coupon only way I could afford this med (25/mo versus over 1k/mo). No feeling weird like stimulants, just pretty normal. I'm pairing with intermittent fasting per my GP and trying to incorporate intuitive eating as much as possible. I am not counting calories or weighing myself but I am likely down 5-10# in 2 weeks combo of water weight and loss. Bloat gone, body feels good, excited to see if this keeps working this well."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I originally started the Zepbound shot at the end of this past January. I weighed a total of 202 lbs when I started it. That would be about 3-4 months ago. I was very self-conscious, I didn't want to take any pictures of myself, I felt disgusted by myself, I always brought myself down, etc. But now, now I weigh 154 lbs. I'm at the 10 mg of the Zepbound. I started off as the lowest and I'm still not at the highest, to be honest. I lost about 50 pounds in the last 4 months! I researched it and it'll take 16 months to lose about 50 pounds for a normal person who doesn't take anything. And I did it in 4 months with that shot! For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’m a 6’4", 275-pound male, 62 years old - no diabetes or health issues, on no other meds. Obtained prescription via Dr. and took the first 2.5 mg injection on Dec. 24. Lost 10 pounds with the first 3 shots, then Dr. said I could go to 5 mg (saved the last 2.5 mg pen for future use) because weight loss had stopped. After starting 5 mg, lost 2 pounds in 2 days - so combined weight loss using 2.5/5 mg is now at 12 pounds in six weeks! No significant or terrible side effects except some constipation, intermittent fatigue, and minor chills at times (not a lot - could just be the cold weather). I've yo-yoed up and down with weight for years. Because of my size, I can eat a lot of food - but this drug has significantly reduced my appetite, and I have more energy overall. I can’t wait to see the results in a few more months. Zepbound has so far been perfect for me. For Type 2 Diabetes "I am 6ft and started at 213lbs. Blood sugars were a little elevated and I could see they were headed in the wrong direction. I also have severe sleep apnea. I started at 7.5 and just finished my fourth week. This drug is amazing. I’m down 24 lbs in 28 days. Lost 4 lbs last week. Current weight is 189lb. Goal is 175lb. I check my blood sugar 2 or 3 times a day. My highest reading was 101 about an hour after eating. Most readings in the low 80s which is perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more from this drug. Side effects are constipation (drink lots of water) and tired the day after the shot. I’ve been slightly overweight my entire life. I hope to lose this weight and then see if the sleep apnea goes away. Life changing."

What I didn’t expect was that my bladder issues like leaking, etc. would stop. It has been amazing! I went from needing valve & bladder surgeries to complete stoppage. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been so sick on Zepbound. Nonstop diarrhea weeks 2 and 3. Ended up in urgent care for IV hydration and labs. Doc took me off it after a severe reaction. It's been 2 weeks off it and I'm still suffering from diarrhea. Very weak and light-headed. Weight loss was fast. I started healthy and am now sick every day. Weight loss is not worth my overall health."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I started taking Mounjaro on 9/1. This resulted in the very worst month of my life. WEEK ONE - Super Nauseous, indigestion, stomach pain for 3-4 days of the first week. My appetite went from a 10 to a 2 (which was good). WEEK TWO - I had diarrhea for 3-4 days, along with sulfur belches, nausea, stomach pain. I ended up having to take sick days and go get an IV bag to recover from the dehydration. WEEK THREE - World-class nausea and vomiting. 3 days of vomiting so hard that I ruptured my esophagus. The entire month, if I was not having diarrhea, I was VERY constipated. I lost 9 lbs in one month, but I don't know if it was because I could barely eat due to the sickness. PASS!!"

"I am 45, 5’5 currently weighing 187 lbs. I wanted to share my weight-loss journey thus far as well as share my progress moving forward. I started a 1,200-calorie or less diet and 45 min exercise plan in Sept 2024 weighing in at 192 lbs with consultation from my PCP. With the weight loss of 5 lbs I’ve started feeling very defeated. Along with being obese, I was diagnosed with OSA in 2018. Now the FDA has approved Zepbound for the treatment of sleep apnea (OSA), and I decided to take advantage of that decision. I've had to seek alternatives due to the shortage of this drug, but it is worth it. I've lost 30 pounds in 14 weeks and moved up to 7.5mg on my last dose. The food noise is gone. The alcohol noise is gone. Other than some nausea and fatigue on shot day, side effects have been mild and easily manageable. For Type 2 Diabetes "I am a 6'2", 46-year-old male who started his journey at 305 lbs. My doctor prescribed me Mounjaro 10.0 in Jan. of 2023. In Dec. of 2023, I went to level 12.5. Mounjaro, along with a balanced diet and exercising 4-5 days a week, changed my life for the better. I went from a 'Living to Eat' person to an 'Eating to Live' person. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started in January and have moved doses up monthly. This morning I took my 4th 7.5 mg dose. I did have a 2.5 mg pen malfunction and moved up to 5 a week early. I've been losing 1-3 pounds a week, for a total today of 28 lb loss. My goal is to lose 50. As far as side effects, they really aren't too bad for me. Daily Colace helps any constipation, which has not been much of an issue anyway. Occasional nausea is fleeting and is helped with Coke One. I know some are against drinking soda, but Coke One does not have sugar and has been my nausea cure for as long as it's been on the market. My appetite is diminished, but not gone. I've changed my eating pattern to several small, healthy mini-meals during the day instead of 3 'regular' meals. Zero cravings for junk food or much snacking at all. Part, I'm sure, is that I'm keeping those mini meals full of protein and vegetables. The only real issue that I've had is fatigue. It hits about an hour after the shot and lasts about 36 h."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I'm type 2 diabetic and was on Ozempic for quite some time and having difficulty getting my medication. My doctor changed me to Mounjaro for my diabetes thinking I would be able to get my meds. I started on the 5 mg since I had been on Ozempic. My side effects were typical slight nausea. I was trying to get my second month filled and the issues started with availability AGAIN. The 5 mg and 7.5 mg were on backorder. He increased my dose to 10 mg. I have experienced sulfur burps, but that is about it. I have not seen much weight loss, but then again I'm more concerned about my diabetes. Shame on the drug companies for dangling a medication that works to lower A1C and cholesterol and choosing to utilize it for weight loss where the insurance won't cover it. I'm not using this medication for vanity, it's for my chronic disease."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Began 1 month ago, March 2025, starting with 2.5 mg at 210 lbs, and I am 5'4", size 14. 2nd month, same dosage, 2.5 mg. Now my weight is 183 lbs, size 10. I do have nausea, but it goes away when I drink plenty of water/seltzer. I can eat what I want, but small portions, and I can put the fork down. I take the shot at bedtime. I have only used my arms. I quit smoking, had two children, entered menopause, and my weight became uncontrollable (my blood tests have always been perfect). I found the strength to start dieting a couple of times a year but hit rock bottom in March, 48 years old, 107 kgs. Depressed and unable to start -again- the keto diet (it works very well for me), I asked for help and was put on antidepressants and Mounjaro. A real game changer. I started the diet with no willpower, no bad feelings, no cravings, no need for self-control, just naturally. I got into ketosis easily and quickly. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Mounjaro for just two weeks. I've lost 5 pounds without trying. While that's nice, I am posting a very early review to let other newbies know that other than some indigestion the first two days, I haven't had any side effects. I had major constipation on Ozempic. I find taking a daily stool softener, staying hydrated, taking a Metamucil tablet daily, and taking a daily prebiotic (get the refrigerated one in your pharmacy as it has live cultures. Keep it refrigerated!). I'm on 5 mg, but I am moving up to 7.5 next week. I will go to 10 mg if there is no supply of 7.5. My pharmacist said to get my order for the 7.5 mg in at least 7 days early so they can get it in on time. They don't stock it, but they get it overnight. Just FYI, after using Ozempic and Mounjaro, I weigh less than I did 10 years ago. I've gone down 4 sizes and 4 inches off my waist since Christmas! Now a petite XL rapidly headed to petite L."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far, so good. Rarely get hungry and can't eat too much. Side effects: Heartburn, reflux, constipation, hair loss. I will have to weigh myself in the morning, but I am guessing I am down about 8 lbs. in 5 weeks. Just started on the 5 ml. No exercise yet. Wine and alcohol will definitely slow down the progress. Not a lot of cravings for junk. Every now and then I want something fried, but it will have you on the crapper by the next morning! Stay away from greasy food on this! And YES, the needle DOES hurt to me!"
