For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started at the end of Jan 24. 4 weeks at 2.5mg, 8 weeks at 5mg due to lack of supply. I've had to seek alternatives due to the shortage of this drug, but it is worth it. I've lost 30 pounds in 14 weeks and moved up to 7.5mg on my last dose. The food noise is gone. The alcohol noise is gone. Other than some nausea and fatigue on shot day, side effects have been mild and easily manageable. I wish I'd have been able to start this long ago and gotten my life back. 30 pounds to go and I have no doubt I will be successful."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "In 2023, I began taking Mounjaro and went from the 2.5 dosage to 10. I lost almost 40 pounds and then couldn't get it anymore! I put on 22 pounds in about 6 weeks! When Mounjaro became available again, I started again and lost that 22 pounds plus 50 more pounds for a total of 72 pounds. I have NEVER had a single side effect and have used EMMA for any constipation (but I've always had trouble with constipation anyway!). My goal was to get to 125 pounds and then gain back 5 pounds because all my life I've heard that it's a good thing to do to fill out your face. It may be just an old wives' tale, but I now weigh 127 and that's my plan. I guess I should tell my age so that older individuals who have suffered from the highs and lows of dieting and never being successful long-term will realize that we too can lose weight and keep it off. 84."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started Zepbound 3 days ago (2.5) and have felt sick ever since. I’m nauseated, have terrible heartburn, and I have a bad taste in my mouth. I know these symptoms might go away over time, but they’ll occur again when dosing increases. I knew there were side effects, but I can’t stand feeling this way. It definitely killed my appetite, but it’s not worth it. For me personally, the long-term risks involved are not worth it either - thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, eye issues, and more. I don’t have a huge amount of weight to lose, but I’m now motivated to do it the right way - diet and exercise. My friend has had no issues whatsoever, so good luck to those of you who are in that boat! It’s not for everyone."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I am a 6'2", 46-year-old male who started his journey at 305 lbs. My doctor prescribed me Mounjaro 10.0 in Jan. of 2023. In Dec. of 2023, I went to level 12.5. Mounjaro, along with a balanced diet and exercising 4-5 days a week, changed my life for the better. I went from a 'Living to Eat' person to an 'Eating to Live' person. Mounjaro helps me mentally and physically. After I eat, I feel fuller longer, and I don't get food cravings. It's amazing!! I went from 305 lbs to 238 lbs. That is 67 lbs in 13-14 months. I am off all insulin. I stopped snoring at night. I am participating in 5K races. Achieving goals and having fun! Team Gavin, I treat my body like a football team - Offense - gym four to five days a week, Defense - portion control, Special Teams - Mounjaro injections once a week. I don't think I could be doing this well without all three. The journey continues for me, and I hope after you read this, it begins with you. Good luck!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started in January and have moved doses up monthly. This morning I took my 4th 7.5 mg dose. I did have a 2.5 mg pen malfunction and moved up to 5 a week early. I've been losing 1-3 pounds a week, for a total today of 28 lb loss. My goal is to lose 50. As far as side effects, they really aren't too bad for me. Daily Colace helps any constipation, which has not been much of an issue anyway. Occasional nausea is fleeting and is helped with Coke One. I know some are against drinking soda, but Coke One does not have sugar and has been my nausea cure for as long as it's been on the market. My appetite is diminished, but not gone. I've changed my eating pattern to several small, healthy mini-meals during the day instead of 3 'regular' meals. Zero cravings for junk food or much snacking at all. Part, I'm sure, is that I'm keeping those mini meals full of protein and vegetables. The only real issue that I've had is fatigue. It hits about an hour after the shot and lasts about 36 h."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm on month three. My doctor thinks I might be too sensitive to it and may have to stop soon. Extreme nausea, occasional vomiting, and sulfur burps followed by diarrhea, weakness, and lethargy. The pros: in three months, I've gone from 262 lbs to 239 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was on Mounjaro for 3 months for weight loss, starting weight 180 lbs. I increased to the next dosage every month. I had minimal side effects besides constipation and lost a total of 28 lbs. I did not wing off the medication, and everything went fine. I did blood work last week, and everything was perfect compared to the year before. My weight has been steady thanks to the healthy habits I built during the medication."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I'm type 2 diabetic and was on Ozempic for quite some time and having difficulty getting my medication. My doctor changed me to Mounjaro for my diabetes thinking I would be able to get my meds. I started on the 5 mg since I had been on Ozempic. My side effects were typical slight nausea. I was trying to get my second month filled and the issues started with availability AGAIN. The 5 mg and 7.5 mg were on backorder. He increased my dose to 10 mg. I have experienced sulfur burps, but that is about it. I have not seen much weight loss, but then again I'm more concerned about my diabetes. Shame on the drug companies for dangling a medication that works to lower A1C and cholesterol and choosing to utilize it for weight loss where the insurance won't cover it. I'm not using this medication for vanity, it's for my chronic disease."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I love Zepbound. I was on Wegovy prior to switching to Zepbound and lost 20 pounds in 6 months. I was nauseous, fatigued, and dizzy for 3-4 days after taking my shot. However, on the Zepbound, I have no side effects other than slight pain at the injection site for 2-3 minutes after I take my shot. After switching to Zepbound, I lost another 20 pounds in just 3 months."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on the 2.5 mg starting dose. After the second day, I was experiencing severe diarrhea, burping, nausea. These went away on Day 6. Very tolerable after then. I stayed on 2.5 for several months before going to the 5 mg dose, due to the intensity of my side effects. Started Day 1 of the 5 mg dose, and on the 3rd day after it I had tiredness, orthostatic hypotension (85/55 when standing up). At the 5th day, I am still having orthostatic hypotension - I maintained a water source. Spent 2.5 days without eating. I also vomited a couple of times during the 5 mg startup. Once this batch of side effects goes away, probably will be fine. I just think that a warning about the SEVERE side effects that make me functionally worthless should be discussed. I believe my side effects are a little more extreme than most, but folks should, at least, be informed."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far, so good. Rarely get hungry and can't eat too much. Side effects: Heartburn, reflux, constipation, hair loss. I will have to weigh myself in the morning, but I am guessing I am down about 8 lbs. in 5 weeks. Just started on the 5 ml. No exercise yet. Wine and alcohol will definitely slow down the progress. Not a lot of cravings for junk. Every now and then I want something fried, but it will have you on the crapper by the next morning! Stay away from greasy food on this! And YES, the needle DOES hurt to me!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Lifelong dieter here. Despite successes, the weight always crept back. Zepbound feels like a game changer thus far. I feel fabulous overall. Nobody knows of my decision to try Zep, yet already everywhere I go people comment on how healthy I look. I’m 73 years old, female, 5’6”, SW 185 and goal 145. I’m on my fifth week @2.5, with a steady loss of 2 lbs per week. Minor nausea on injection day with the abdominal injection. The tartness of gummy fiber/vitamins is great for relieving nausea. Periodic fatigue mostly on day two. Friday is injection day so I can crash on Saturday if necessary. I eat six small meals each day and try to get a total of 120-140 grams per day. I get food noise, but it’s good noise thinking about nutrient-dense and low-cal foods. Protein/collagen powders/snacks are essential to keeping healthy muscles, hair, skin. Drink water!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Mounjaro for just two weeks. I've lost 5 pounds without trying. While that's nice, I am posting a very early review to let other newbies know that other than some indigestion the first two days, I haven't had any side effects. I had major constipation on Ozempic. I find taking a daily stool softener, staying hydrated, taking a Metamucil tablet daily, and taking a daily prebiotic (get the refrigerated one in your pharmacy as it has live cultures. Keep it refrigerated!). I'm on 5 mg, but I am moving up to 7.5 next week. I will go to 10 mg if there is no supply of 7.5. My pharmacist said to get my order for the 7.5 mg in at least 7 days early so they can get it in on time. They don't stock it, but they get it overnight. Just FYI, after using Ozempic and Mounjaro, I weigh less than I did 10 years ago. I've gone down 4 sizes and 4 inches off my waist since Christmas! Now a petite XL rapidly headed to petite L."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started taking Zepbound for less than a week now. I am 5 days in. I have not had any major side effects. I have felt very little nausea at times. I had a very mild tummy ache a couple of times. I felt a little dizzy the first day and then nothing after that. I felt very fatigued the third day but have been good since. I have lost 4 lbs so far. I am 5' 2" and weighed 161. I am down to 157 as of today (5th day). My goal is 130 at least. I don't feel hungry. I don't think about snacking. I forget to eat most of the time because I am not hungry. I have to remind myself to eat something. I eat very small portions and feel satisfied. I am loving this! I do recommend it to anyone wanting to lose weight."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have struggled with weight loss for the past 10 years. Healthy diet, regular exercise used to work for me but stopped working, and my weight steadily increased. I became afraid of food and barely ate 1,200 calories a day. Still, the weight wouldn’t budge. Doctors told me it was because I wasn’t 35 anymore or I was insulin resistant. I was diagnosed with fatty liver, and my frustration was at its peak. I am now 60, and at my peak, I was 216 lbs at 5'10" and pre-diabetic. I didn’t feel good and didn’t like how I looked. I was able to get Zepbound approved with my insurance, and it has been a lifesaver! I am now 160 and feel better than I’ve felt in years! I’ve had minimal side effects, and I’m just grateful that there was finally something to help me lose weight. I have saggy skin and don’t care. My knees don’t hurt, and I feel great! I’m not afraid of food and even eat treats in small portions without fear of gaining weight."

"I am 45, 5’5 currently weighing 187 lbs. I wanted to share my weight-loss journey thus far as well as share my progress moving forward. I started a 1,200-calorie or less diet and 45 min exercise plan in Sept 2024 weighing in at 192 lbs with consultation from my PCP. With the weight loss of 5 lbs I’ve started feeling very defeated. Along with being obese, I was diagnosed with OSA in 2018. Now the FDA has approved Zepbound for the treatment of sleep apnea (OSA), and I decided to take advantage of that decision. I spoke with my GP, she shared my office consultation notes with my sleep doctor. My sleep doctor thought Zepbound would be of great benefit to me since I have been on a calorie deficit diet and consistent exercise routine over 3 months with less than 5% weight loss. My insurance agreed and approved Zepbound with a copay of $60. With the Zep savings card, I paid $25. I will provide you all with an update in 4 weeks."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been struggling with my weight my entire life. It wasn't until I went on Zepbound that I began to lose weight and truly believed that this time I would keep it off for good. After 8 months, I have lost almost 50 lbs and feel better than I ever have about myself. I have more energy, more confidence, and am simply a much happier person. For me, I believe that Zepbound has helped me by regulating my blood sugar level and also making me feel full. While it is a major financial investment that needs to be changed, it has completely changed my outlook on life and fortunately I am able to afford it. This should be offered to everyone at an affordable rate!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on Friday, March 21, and had no side effects for the first two weeks. Then I overate cheesy pasta and had severe diarrhea. The next 10 days, I had three more episodes of diarrhea and vomiting. And severe fatigue. I was not able to continue my exercise routine as often as usual. The fatigue after minimal activity was interfering with my life. I cannot walk more than a few blocks. I stopped the injections three weeks ago, and for the most part, I have intermittent fatigue. It apparently takes about 25 days for the med to be out of the system. I lost 9 pounds after the first 3 or 4 weeks and have not gained them back. I didn't have quite the same separation of thoughts of food as I had expected. Hopefully, only another week or two to get my energy back."

For Type 2 Diabetes "This is my fifth week, and I started on 2.5 mg and now on 5.0 mg. I have had only one side effect: dry mouth, but I lost 29 lbs in the first month. I weighed 243 lbs and now I am down to 214 lbs. If you don’t eat fried foods, sugar, or heavy carbs, you will do great. I don’t overeat anymore. Plus, I exercise, I walk 5 miles a day. I drink at least 64 fl oz of water. This medication is worth taking. I had no issues at all and feel great. I can’t wait to fulfill my journey. The key is to follow a plan. If you want a life change, this is it! I used the coupon, and only certain pharmacies know how to code it. I got lucky because my pharmacy worked with me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 5'2", 41 years old, started taking the shot in November of 2023. Weighed in at 293, cried all the way home. Within a week lost 16 pounds. Here I am, almost a complete 4 months later, and down 72 pounds. Best thing I have ever done. No more snoring or waking up all hours of the night, and I have so much more energy. Yes, I have some constipation, but it is a small price to pay to feel so much better! Next month I will be on the highest dose. So, from here on out, it's up to me to keep it moving with healthy activity and diet."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Holy side effects. First, if you eat when you take it, it just sits in your stomach and you’ll be burping it for 12 hours. The headache is insane. Starts immediately. Then you are hit with 3 days of nausea, fatigue, and just overall fatigue. Just when you start to feel better, cue the insane heartburn! It took me 5 days to feel normal again. I’ll pass on this even though I lost 5 pounds the first week."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on this medication for 6 weeks and have never felt better about my body or my day. I didn't realize I could have a day where I wasn't thinking about food from the minute I got up until I fell asleep at night. I feel free to think about other things and to not be distracted by trying to have willpower to not eat. It's a huge relief. Is this what thin people feel like? People who have never struggled with being overweight? I have always thought my weight was based on my genetics, and maybe it is-but it's also my brain that literally is addicted to food. It feels like I've been released from an addiction. I haven't noticed any side effects. I tried Ozempic before this and was very constipated and had stomach issues. I don't feel that way at all on Zepbound, my stomach is fine. I'm on 2.5, it's very easy to administer, and I feel like it really works. I hope I'm able to take it for a long time, I'm sort of afraid to go back to the brain I had before taking it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started 3 months ago with the 2 ml, then 5, and now 7.5. I have been nauseous every single day for those 3 months. I have been constipated almost every week. I finally am able to go. I noticed that after the injection, I vomit every time the next day. I am 5'7 and weighed 233. I am now 209. The nausea is sometimes unbearable. I feel like not taking this medicine. Everyone's body is different."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am in my 50s and I stayed on the 2.5 for 2 months and just began the 5 mg today. I had gastric sleeve exactly a year before covid, lucky me, huh? Working from home, no gym, already had depression, joint, and severe back issues. It all did not mix with slowing down and sitting down. I gained half of the weight I lost, and the high cholesterol returned. I started Zepbound on Feb 17, 2024, and lost 18 lbs by my first check-up on April 1. Very fast. My cholesterol dropped significantly. I do not have high blood pressure, but it was down too. All blood work is great. The only side effect is constipation that I fixed with Miralax. There are no food cravings or noise in my head. I get full very fast, although I have to remind myself to eat. I have dry mouth, I bought sugar-free popsicles to deal with that. I have been sleeping better, although I stay up late due to the energy it gives me."
