For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am in the 3rd week of using Mounjaro on a 2.5 dosage. I have lost 12 lbs already in the first 2 weeks. My starting weight was 18 stone and I am now 17.2 stones. The only side effect was constipation, but I have used laxatives to help. My cravings for food have totally disappeared. This is a game changer for me. I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager, and since reaching menopause, this got worse. I was a comfort food eater, but now I have no cravings whatsoever. It is easy to inject. I am continuing with Mounjaro, and I am hoping I may finally lose my excess weight for good."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Was on Wegovy 2 months (PsA weight loss need) - horrible. Lost 18 pounds but got depression, which is odd for me as I have never had it. Once off it, about 3 weeks, I was fine. Decided to give ZepBound a try, a friend had great success with Monjouro (diabetic), when this came out, I was approved. Having a friend with experience really helped to get me through the first 3 weeks. They were rough. But I knew to stay away from meats for 5 days after shot and ANYTHING with fat or oil - it will not digest. 2 days after the shot are the hardest as far as digestion, eat very small, eat early or reflux will occur. My 'go to' is a cup of mac & cheese, half a bagel (plain) or berries (apples indigestible). No variety for me on this. Menthol cough drop a lifesaver - soothes my stomach. Sugars OK. Diarrhea from some foods, turned to some constipation after 2 months. Lost 27 pounds in 3 months, the fatigue is my worst side effect. Find your digestible foods, stick with them, exclusively."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this medication for weight loss. My first round of the 4 injections was 2.5 mg, and it had no negative side effects at all. I just had no appetite. I lost 10 lbs within that 4 weeks. I then moved up to the 0.5 mg. The day after taking the first injection, nausea hit like a train. I never threw up but was just nauseous. I called my doctor, and she prescribed medication for the nausea which helped immensely. By the time I took my second injection, the nausea had gone away, and I had lost another 5 lbs. I still have so much more to go and I'm very optimistic. I literally have had no appetite; nothing sounds good or tastes good. I do drink as much water as I can throughout the day. I've had no problems with constipation but as a precaution, I take a couple of stool softeners once a week and I'm good to go. I used to have a sweet tooth, but not now. Great benefits, has tolerable side effects, and is very easy to use."

"Follow Up: I am currently on day 11 of Zepbound 2.5 mg. As of this morning, I have lost 11.73 lbs. Daily, I documented how I felt and symptoms. The first 24 hours of injection #1, I had extreme fatigue, normal appetite, and a whole lot of belching. Day 2, belching, less hungry, no other symptoms. Day 3, I had no appetite, no other symptoms. Day 4, less than normal appetite, no other symptoms . Days 3 and 4 have just been repetitive. I have had no negative side effects, BUT I also have made sure to eat high-protein foods for every meal, even on the days I had no appetite, nothing greasy (thinking about it turns my stomach), no high-sugar foods. As of today, I’d say; if you work with the medication, the medication will work with you. Update you in a couple of weeks."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I have had A1C 11 after two months of using Mounjaro, it's now 7, and I have been losing 2 or three pounds a week. A friend took a picture of me, and I actually saw the weight loss. I am 64 years old. I have had high blood sugar and pressure for over 10 years, so it's more than just nice to be normal. Thank you, Mounjaro medicine helped with both."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Zepbound for about 4 months and have dropped 40 pounds. For reference, I am 5’2” and was 192 when I started on the 2.5mg dose. I moved to 5mg after 4 weeks, and I’m still on 5mg (losing 1.5-2 lbs per week). I plan to stay on 5mg as long as I am losing weight. Side effects were tiredness and mild flu-like symptoms the first week, but nothing since. I am making better food choices and make sure I am in a calorie deficit. The medicine helps me feel fuller for longer and quiets food noise. Before I would constantly wander into the kitchen to snack, either due to boredom, stress, or whatever, but now I stick to mealtimes and stop eating when I am satisfied. Zepbound gives me the willpower I never had to resist cravings. This is the first time in my life I have been able to lose weight consistently, and it feels wonderful! If you are considering taking Zepbound, just do it! It is truly a miracle and 100% worth the cost."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on Zepbound Sept 3rd, 2024. The sulfur burps started but subsided after a day or so. Each time I give the shot, I get a little of this. I’ve stayed at .05 mL because I have a bit of a sour stomach, so don’t want to have worse, and I like my slow weight loss (14 lbs) as of 11/30/24. I heard if one loses too fast, it results in saggy skin. I had a problem with the protein powder, so discontinued, but realize making sure to get enough protein is crucial. My positive effect I’d like to report is I’m no longer lactose intolerant! So exciting! I can eat whatever I want without fear of the usual aftereffects. I didn’t need to lose much weight, but my added concern is that I have sleep apnea (couldn’t tolerate C-PAP). I’ll report back when I make a recording to see if it’s been eliminated. I only live with dogs, and they refuse to tell me if I’m still snoring or not."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Good results. Immediate appetite suppression starting with the lowest dose. More importantly, my food cravings went away. It takes a couple of weeks, at most, to get through the psychological part of less appetite/less food. You get full quickly, and yet you feel like you still want to eat because your mind is telling you, 'how can you be full already, you've only had 4 bites?' It only takes one or two times of being nauseated or vomiting to remember to eat less. I have lost 48 lbs in exactly 7 months, and my hypertension is gone."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on the medication since 1/19/2024. I did 4 injections of 2.5, then went up to 5 mg. I will be staying with this dosage for at least 2 months. I have dropped 18 pounds so far. I have nausea for a day or two after injection (still able to function at work). I still have about 30ish pounds to lose, but I no longer think about food. I am also so happy that my pain from fibromyalgia has gotten so much better. I don't have the inflammation all the time. I am 50 and in menopause, I have done the eat less, move more with little results. I am very happy with this medication. You still have to do the work (eat little sugar, high protein, exercise), but it is nice to see it actually working now!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "After so many people I knew were doing so well on these injections, I started Zepbound 6 weeks ago. I was fine for 24 hours, then the side effects kicked in. I don't recall ever feeling this sick. Sulfur burps, churning stomach, started vomiting and diarrhea for 3 full days. I was sick for days after the first shot. I had no hunger while so very sick. Week 2 and 3 had no problems and the food cravings were gone. I was prepared to be very successful on this medication. Week 4 sulfur burps came back again, 24 hours after my injection. The same reactions returned but less violent, I was sick for 24 hours. Maybe a fluke? Week 5 and 24 hours in, same sulfur burps started it again: diarrhea, stomach spasms, and vomiting. Nope, off the Zepbound. I would rather stay fat than make myself sick with every dose. I never got beyond 2.5. I know this has been wonderful for some people, it's just not for me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "In the last 7 months, I went on a medically supervised, 1100-calorie per day diet to lose weight. I'm a 52-year-old female, 5'9'', and weighed 282 lbs. I managed to get down to 255 lbs and was feeling physically better, but constantly hungry, cranky, and miserable (also miserable to be around). After much discussion with my doctor (who was in favor of the medication), I started taking 2.5mg of Zep just before Christmas. After 3 weeks of use and despite many holiday celebrations, I'm down 4 lbs and all my cranky hanger is gone. I feel much better - all the noise in my head about food has disappeared, along with much of my appetite. I had constipation for the first couple of days after the first shot, but now I don't have any. My side effects have been minimal thus far, but I notice cravings and a bit of hunger coming back on days 5 and 6. I'm amazed at how easy this makes managing my diet, and it is so nice to not feel like a failure for once! I'm paying out of pocket with the savings card, but the $560 per month is so worth it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a white male, age 64, with type 2 diabetes. I started with a weight of 280 pounds, but in 10 weeks, I have managed to reduce it to 219 pounds. This achievement has been possible with the help of Mounjaro. Currently, I am only taking 7.5 units of Mounjaro. Previously, I used to take 5 insulin shots a day, but now I only require 1 in the morning if my sugar levels are above 145. My goal is to become insulin-free, and I am on my way to achieving that. I have been dependent on insulin for over 20 years. In addition to medication, I have made significant lifestyle changes. I work out 5 times a week and have made adjustments to my diet. These efforts, combined with Mounjaro, have allowed me to get back my life. I am grateful to Mounjaro for giving me this opportunity to regain control of my health."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "In 2023, I began taking Mounjaro and went from the 2.5 dosage to 10. I lost almost 40 pounds and then couldn't get it anymore! I put on 22 pounds in about 6 weeks! When Mounjaro became available again, I started again and lost that 22 pounds plus 50 more pounds for a total of 72 pounds. I have NEVER had a single side effect and have used EMMA for any constipation (but I've always had trouble with constipation anyway!). My goal was to get to 125 pounds and then gain back 5 pounds because all my life I've heard that it's a good thing to do to fill out your face. It may be just an old wives' tale, but I now weigh 127 and that's my plan. I guess I should tell my age so that older individuals who have suffered from the highs and lows of dieting and never being successful long-term will realize that we too can lose weight and keep it off. 84."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound 17 days ago. 64-year-old woman, 210 lbs, BMI 33.9, height 5 ft 6 inches. Insulin resistant, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, sleep apnea. No problem at all with the injection. I don't even feel it. I do bring it to room temperature before injecting. I was terrified of the potential side effects but thankfully haven't experienced any that aren't very manageable. I notice if I eat certain foods for dinner, they aren't digested by morning, so I avoid those. I might feel a bit of nausea from time to time but use ginger chews. I definitely feel full faster and eat less. I've only weighed myself once so far, on day 9, and was down 7 pounds. Frankly, I have been a little scared of the scale after failing so many different diets (Keto, Intermittent Fasting, South Beach, Weight Watchers, to name a few). I'd diligently stay on them for several weeks only to have the scale not budge, or sometimes my weight went up! So discouraging. I'm so hopeful with this new medication!"

For Type 2 Diabetes "Started 10/26. Weight 245, female. 2.5 1x, 5, 1x, 10mg, last 2 months. Current 214. Zero exercise unfortunately. I have read so many reviews and I am baffled at all these bad side effects, since mine were so minor (except constipation and tiredness day after injection). Learned early, no sugar, breads, or pasta/potato. I take no other meds, do a strict low carb and fast. I have a protein shake at noon, a meat and a LC veg for dinner (small portion always), then freeze a protein shake for two hours and it makes ice creamish. Delish! That’s all I eat daily. Hunger is now fully controllable! My A1C started at 6.7, BUT I was on low carb for 6 weeks prior to blood work so likely much higher in general. Last week's blood test showed A1C at 5.0. My ALT SGPT (liver) was high last test, and normal range this time. What did go up were my top 4 CBC numbers. Overall, this is a game changer. So grateful. I truly believe eating right is the key when on this med. Hope this helps someone."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am currently taking Mounjaro. I was weighing 263 lbs in November 2023, and I have lost 93 lbs. I am at 170 now. I went from size 18 and 20 to size 12. I was on Ozempic and could not take that, it made me so sick. I have no problems with Mounjaro other than sulfur burps and a lot of gas. I have to make myself eat, and when I do, I only eat a bite of food. I am on the 7.5 dosage now, and I am so lucky that my insurance covers it, and my cost is $25.00."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’ve lost 43 lbs in the last 9 months. I experienced some mild hair loss (but started this in menopause, so that contributed to hair loss as well), increased heart rate, although mine was low to start, some burping, and tiredness. The worst side effect for me is the diarrhea. I have it starting about 24-48 hrs after injection. It lasts on and off for about 3 days. Overall, these side effects have been mild and manageable. The weight loss has been life-changing!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I normally do not write reviews, but this medication has been very helpful. I have struggled with being overweight my entire life. I have always felt like my medical conditions were fighting against me, but week 1, I lost 5.8 lbs. This is not a miracle drug, I do run 6 mi 5 days a week (started at 1 mi) and lift weights 3 times a week. I also have an active lifestyle with 6 kids. I eat a high-protein, low-carb diet and make sure I drink 100 oz of water a day. I have been able to lose 40 lbs in 12 weeks. I started at 2.5 mg for 4 weeks, bumped up to 5 mg, and my doctor is keeping me at that because I have done so well. I have 25 lbs until I reach my goal weight. Without this medication, I would have still been depressed, overweight, and my health would still be declining. I have tried every workout, every diet. Zepbound has been the game changer. I have not experienced any negative side effects."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just had my 2nd shot of Zepbound and the side effects so far are that I burp a lot (lol) & feel a little tired, but nothing major at all. I can’t eat much at all, maybe a few bites, and it takes me forever to get those few bites down, then I’m full for a few hours. I have been keeping a complete diary of this. So determined. Hope this helps."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Zepbound for seven and a half weeks now. I have lost 20 lbs! I am happy about that. I love how it takes that constant hunger I felt and cravings for junk are gone - that’s a miracle in itself. I did have some side effects of bloating, nausea, and sulfur burps and gas, but they do seem to taper off as your body adjusts to the dose. I am now up to a 5 mg dose but have opted to stay here for now because the nausea was increasing. I have no hunger at all. I will try it another month at 5 mg and if no relief in the nausea, I will ask to go back to the 2.5 dose. I continue to lose 2-3 pounds a week and it is adding up."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Zepbound approximately 3 weeks ago, and this is after having the Gastric Sleeve a year ago. Due to becoming ill, I gained about 30lbs back and was not happy at all. So finally, my doctor prescribed Zepbound. The nausea is unreal, but I tolerate it. When trying to eat anything fried, it's a vomiting situation that's going to happen. But overall, I have lost about 4lbs in the 3 weeks with no exercise. I will try and start exercising with the next mg upgrade. Guys, please realize everybody's journey is different, and you will lose what your body is supposed to lose, so don't overdo it. Zepbound is working great for me at the moment."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Zepbound for about 3 months. I'm 5'3' and started at 167. So far I have lost 12 lbs. trying to maintain a 1,200 calorie diet. The main thing is to watch what you eat and quit when you are full. The only side effects I've seen are fatigue and constipation. The shots don't bother me at all and no nausea, thank goodness. The only thing I'm really worried about is gaining it back when I stop. Good luck to all!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Zepbound 7 weeks now. Lost about 22 lbs so far with no exercise. This stuff is amazing at curbing your appetite. But beware, stick to healthy foods and minimal portions because the nausea is otherworldly. I ate too much too late in the day yesterday. I had to leave work early today for the second time since being on this med. Light-headed, profuse sweating, chills, diarrhea almost non-stop and even puking. This med is a miracle, but you cannot mess around. Take it seriously. Cut back portions, minimal dairy, low sugar and don't eat too late. I'm excited to see how far I can go on this med. So thankful I have access."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "After many years of trying to lose weight only to keep gaining, I finally had enough and decided to start Zepbound last December when I found out my insurance would pay for it. I started on 2.5mg like everyone else and increased the dose monthly. It’s June and I currently take 15mg. I have lost 55 pounds. I consistently lose 2 pounds per week. I had side effects as I titrated up. I no longer have any side effects. I am still losing weight and I have never felt better. I plan to stay on this long term. My doctor is on board with that plan as well. I would recommend this to anyone that has tried everything and has been unable to lose the weight. I am 50 years old and want to be able to stay active and have little to no pain. This medicine has changed my life."
