For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Tioconazole worked wonders for me! I took it 2 days after I noticed my YI coming on... (I’ve had them in the past, so I knew what it was right away), and I did NOT experience any of the crazy burning or itching like the other reviews say. But I did have a slight itch after I took it, but nothing unbearable. It took 4 days for my symptoms to be completely gone. I will use this again if I ever need it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this Tioconazole for the 1st time tonight after the 1st day of a yeast infection, and I have no adverse reactions yet. A little warm, but feeling a lot less itching and burning than before application. I would use again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This has been one of the worse decisions I’ve made. I had mild symptoms to start. I thought I’d try it to completely be clear of it since it’s only one day. I regret it so badly. I decided to look at reviews, yes after, because it’s so uncomfortable and itchy (but I don’t scratch, which makes it harder) and thought this isn’t normal because I’ve used others and they have worked. This caught me by surprise. I applied it around 11 pm last night, and it’s 11:00 am right now, and I still feel discomfort, but thankfully it isn’t as bad, mostly it’s just throbbing. Don’t buy it, ladies, it’s not worth it at all."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you can endure a major constant itch for a few hours, then you’ll be fine. Tioconazole works and will have your symptoms almost gone by the very next day. Yes, once you put it in, it will give you an intense itch. If the product melts and comes down your vagina, yes, it will then burn. I kept my legs propped up right after application so it didn’t burn me. Too bad, but the itching came 10 minutes after application. The itching was so bad that I showered, and it cured the itching. Even with me showering, I still had more product up there. Some did come out in the shower, but not a lot. Just know it works and this product is way better than having to wait to see a doctor and get a script."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I developed a yeast infection after being on antibiotics for a week because of strep throat. I used the Walgreens generic. I did not experience the unbearable burning/itching like some people mention. There was a slight increase in itch at first, but it wasn’t anything crazy. I will admit that I didn’t sleep very well because it was a little uncomfortable, and I felt like the medication would leak out if I moved. I didn’t feel better immediately when I woke up (8 hours after insertion), but I noticed that I felt a lot better about 12 hours after insertion. Overall, this product worked at clearing my yeast infection and had very minimal side effects/discomfort. It probably does make things slightly worse because the medication is so strong, but I felt a lot better after 12 hours. My yeast infection was also fairly mild, so maybe the burning sensation occurs when the medication is applied to a severe case with more irritation or lacerations."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was scared to use this product because of all the bad reviews. However, I showered and then inserted the medicine. I did seem to experience itching that was a tad bit worse than before, but it quickly went away. I had minimal burning, it actually just felt like it was getting warm. I felt relief within hours from the itching. It did remain a little sore for a day or two, but nothing I couldn’t handle."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I inserted the CVS brand of the 1 day tioconazole, and it burns/itches like there’s no tomorrow. Now, I'm laying down on my bed with my legs spread open, and it’s giving me some relief, and I’m really hoping this will all be worth it and my YI will be gone."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently writing this because my vagina literally is DYING. I inserted tioconazole after my shower and immediately looked up why my vagina was horribly itchy. I wished I would have read the reviews. I would not recommend."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I went in the store looking for the Monistat 7-day treatment because I’ve used it before and liked it. Well, this product was the only thing they had, so I grabbed it. After inserting it, probably about 10 minutes later, I started itching and burning worse than before. I moved around to ease the pain for about 15 to 20 minutes before getting on the toilet to get some of it out. After about 30 minutes, it was “calming” down some. I slept fine and woke up at about 7:30 with some itching, and here it is at 1:00, and I feel fine. I would probably purchase again if I can’t get Monistat 7. Lol."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "NIGHTMARE. The burning and itching were so bad I had to take a bath at midnight and flush my vagina out. Did fix the issue though, in case that's helpful to anyone else. Having a yeast infection is way better than putting this toxic waste into your vag."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I recently just got rid of bacterial vaginosis (BV), and the antibiotics made me get a yeast infection. Constant itch and burning. My discharge was like cottage cheese. After purchasing the $20 1 Day treatment, I feel instant relief. If you do not insert the ovule far enough, it won’t work as well, and you will feel a burning sensation. Or you might be dealing with BV or an STD."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This product worked great. I felt almost complete relief after the first day. The medicine did increase vaginal burning and itching after inserting it, but nothing unbearable. Within 24 hours, I felt fine with almost no more symptoms. I would definitely recommend."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I suspected I had a yeast infection. I’ve had one before and recognized the symptoms, so I decided to use Tioconazole 1 Day because I’ve used it before and it was amazing. I didn’t get any itching or burning or pain, so that’s why I bought it again. For some reason, this time after inserting, I’m feeling burning and super itchy inside of my who-ha. It is a super uncomfortable feeling. In the beginning, I was going crazy, but now I’m 15-20 minutes in and it still really burns and itches, but I’m tolerating it. I hope I don’t get swelling or pain like some of the reviews say. I can say this is the first time I experienced something like this with the product. I have a high pain tolerance, so maybe that’s why I’m not feeling it so bad, but it is the main side effects on the box with this product. It’s a hit or miss with the side effects. You can be like me the first time around and it not bother at all, or like me now where it’s itching and burning really bad."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased my Tioconazole 1 Day, and after inserting the cream, I did feel some mild itching and burning, but for me, it was tolerable. The next day, I woke up, and the itching had decreased, and so had the pain, but I did experience some swelling, but also tolerable. Although the cream has to be pretty strong since it's a 1-day application, the instructions advise waiting at most 7 days for all symptoms to clear, so I have 5 more days to hopefully be yeast infection-free. Overall, I did not experience the extreme negative effects as others and would buy again (if my funds are low and I have a yeast infection)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! About 30 seconds after inserting the Tioconazole gel, it felt like fire and crazy itching, followed by so much painful swelling. I ended up in the bathtub at 4 a.m., begging for relief. Four hours after my bath, I'm still in pain, swollen, and wondering how I'm going to get through my day when walking is almost impossible! They should not be selling this product!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "By far one of the worst experiences I ever had. I used this and probably about 45 minutes in, I couldn’t take it anymore, it itched so bad! I ended up jumping in the shower and doing all I could to wash it out. On the plus side, my yeast infection seems to be gone, but it felt like absolute torture."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm using this Tioconazole now, having inserted it at 1:50 am (about 12 minutes ago). I do have the increased burning and itching, but I do know it means the medication is working. I'm extremely prone to vaginal yeast infections; we are talking one every month or so. I just started a round of antibiotics on Monday, May 11th, and as a preventative measure, my doctor gave me Diflucan to take on Monday and then on Thursday to keep the infection away. The way my body is, I don't feel anything, and then bam! I'm itching so bad I'm making myself bleed. Unfortunately, the Diflucan didn't help this time. I'm also extremely allergic to miconazole (Monistat), but the pharmacist believes it's an additive and not the actual medication, as Diflucan (the generic brand being fluconazole) is in the same class of antifungals. Took some sleeping meds, so hopefully, I'll be much better in the morning. Just gotta get past the itching and burnings, which again, shows that it's doing its job."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So usually the other stuff works better like everyone saying, but I saw this Tioconazole 1 Day and it was the cheapest, and one day it has 200 mg. It didn't come with outside cream, so I used some that was in the tube and put it on the outside right when I was going to bed. It started burning like I just wiped with a chili pepper or something. I started to try to get the pain off my mind, but it got worse to the point I had to wipe it off from the outside. When I woke up today, Thu, July 30th, I went to go to the bathroom. Once I did, it started burning worse and itching so badly. I didn't have itching, just irritation, so I thought it was a yeast infection, maybe it wasn't, but it hurts so bad now. I recommend not using it because on the package it says it causes burning, and I know people don't want that while having a yeast infection. Stay safe, and ps if medicine hurts you, which it's not supposed to, don't use it again if you have a sensitive vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I used this product last night, and I experienced some itching and burning, but nothing too bad. I woke up this morning, and again the burning was there, but still not too bad. I have experienced some major swelling on and around the vaginal area. I’m hoping in a few days it will subside and my yeast infection will be gone."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I put this in about 9 pm last night before I read all y'all reviews, so I kinda got spooked, but I didn't experience any burning, itching, or discomfort. The gel did melt everywhere outside my vagina, which took away any itchiness from my vulva. I recommend sleeping with no panties so you can really air out, just be cautious not to stain anything. It's about 11 am, and I can tell my YI is completely gone. I am going to shower and wipe all the melted gel off my outsides and let the rest of the medicine still inside me marinate throughout the day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Not gonna lie, after reading all these reviews, I was terrified to use the medication. I put it in before bed last night and laid there terrified of what was about to happen, but nothing happened. I only noticed a little bit of itching and, of course, the annoying leakage. Otherwise, my experience was fine. I would use this again. The ones who said it felt like death must’ve had a bad case of a yeast infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had a YI for two days, and I went to the doctor yesterday about it. They did a test and had it sent to the lab. It’s been 36 hours since my appointment, and I still haven’t received the results, and it is awful. I’ve been taking the Azo yeast infection symptom relief, and it’s helped, but I’m still itchy. As soon as I inserted this, I started to feel the burning. I thought it may just be because it’s fighting the yeast off, but wow, I’ve never been in so much pain. It’s so much worse than the normal itchy feeling. I looked up reviews to make sure this wasn’t an allergic reaction or something, and all the reviews say the same thing. I feel like fire ants have made a nest in my lady parts :,( I gave it 20 minutes, and that was about all I could take before I jumped in the bath with some Epsom salt and rinsed it all away. I don’t recommend. I’m not sure if the 20 minutes was enough to get rid of any yeast, but it was enough to light a flame inside of me, we will see tomorrow."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the CVS brand Tioconazole ointment 6.5% for a mild yeast infection. After insertion, I read all the horrible reviews and was scared to death at what I was about to go through. However, I experienced no itching and no burning. Of course, I had some leakage the next day, so I would suggest wearing a panty liner, but other than that, this treatment worked great! Definitely will use again if needed."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started to treat with natural methods (inserting garlic and then tried apple cider vinegar drops), and they alleviated the symptoms, but the yeast infection wasn’t going away. I picked up the generic version of Monistat one day at Target. It was like $11. I was really freaked out by the reviews, but I decided to use it anyway. Great results. No burning or excessive itching like other people reported. The skin on the opening of my vagina was very raw, so I was really concerned about the burning, but I didn’t get any of that at all. I woke up the next morning and externally I was still itchy, so I rubbed the excess gel/cream on it, and after a few hours, ALL SYMPTOMS WERE ALLEVIATED. I think the trick to avoiding burning is putting the cream in as deep as you can, like the instructions say. It’s gonna melt and trickle down anyway. Anyway, I definitely recommend it. I tried it on Wednesday, and I am all cleared up."
