For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m surprised so many people had such negative reviews. Yes, it burned and itched a bit worse when I put it in. But to me, that just means it’s working like peroxide on a cut. This morning I woke up, and it feels 99% better. I think it takes another day or so to clear completely, but this is way better than the old days with the 7 days of slime!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This stuff is horrible. I was looking for Monistat, but unfortunately, the store had run out. I got this instead, inserted the medication into my vagina, and laid down. I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible itching and burning. I ignored it the best I could and went back to bed after it eased a little. I just woke up, and the opening and surrounding area to my vagina is swollen sooooooo bad. I sat up and could literally just feel how swollen it was. I had el hubby check everything out down there. He said it is swollen really bad. The worst part, and I have never had an STD, still don’t as I have only been with the same partner for three years. My vagina literally smells like... chemical? Chemical burn maybe! I’m not sure. It smells like someone dumped a bottle of chemicals into my vagina. It most definitely isn’t any kind of 'natural smell.' This smell literally just smells like straight-up chemicals! Do not use this product!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have a yeast infection and decided to get Tioconazole 1 Day instead of the other 3 or 7-day options. And man, I'm regretting it. Just a few minutes after using it, I had unbearable burning and itching. It hurt so bad. I tried my best to shower it out, and it helped a bit, but not a lot. I wish I had read the reviews first. I'm not ever going to purchase it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Did experience slight burning for about an hour, but after that, I was able to get a good night's rest. This is the day after I've taken it, and other than the discharge, everything is fine. Make sure to wear a pad or panty liner. Very happy with this product. I bought the CVS brand for 1 day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was on day 5 of the itching, and although I was feeling a little better, I decided to use this to just knock it out, and WOW did I make a HUGE MISTAKE. I woke up in the middle of the night burning and itching so badly I was considering going to the ER! I was in tears, it was so bad! The YI ended up lasting 4 more days, and I now know to never, ever buy OTC medication for this particular problem ever again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I woke up yesterday with pain near the opening of my vagina and my vulva. I had gone to a water park the other day and spent much of the day in damp, tight clothes. I’m prone to UTIs and occasional yeast infections, so I wasn’t surprised. I had a yeast infection once before, about six months ago, that I treated at home. I used Monistat 7 days because reviews said the 1 day burned really bad. The Monistat did clear it up, but it took about 3 days to feel relief, and even the 7 day treatment burned, BAD, and the itching was unbearable. Today, I picked up the CVS brand, and as I’m traveling and didn’t want to go through the same misery I went through with the last yeast infection, I opted for the 1 day treatment. I’m a cheapo, so if I find a comparable product for less, with the same active ingredients, I’m going to buy that one. So I bought the CVS brand, came home and inserted the product and no itching, no burning."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Did not read any recommendations for this vs. Monistat. I wasn’t exactly sure I had a YI until after using this. It helped me so much. It gave me instant relief from the burning. However, it does leak out and pool in underwear, however, I advise using a panty liner."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Anytime I have to take strong antibiotics, I generally get a YI. I usually just do the 3-day treatment and opted to try 1 day just to see. *Sigh* Shortly after insertion, there was intense itching as I tried to go to sleep. The next day, I pushed out the remainder of the application, or so I thought. I spent the next day wiping and burning. No bueno. I'll just stick to 3 days."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the generic Monistat 1 (tioconazole), and for the first few hours it was great-no burning, and I fell asleep quickly. A few hours later, I woke up absolutely dying. It burned so much, and my vulvar lips were so swollen (HUGE!), so red and visibly irritated. I had to use an ice pack to help decrease some of the pain. I left the ointment in because I figured I already suffered this much, I might as well let it do its job. By the time I woke up, though, the swelling had gone down considerably, no more burning, and my yeast infection felt 90% better (I'm still using the topical miconazole from a previous package to help with the mild residual itch). So even though it's a few hours of literal torture and you will lose sleep, it did work well."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I picked this up after a few days of mild itching, no smelly discharge or anything too crazy. I inserted it, and within 5 minutes, it began to burn and itch. It is currently 4 am, and I have been awake for the last 3 hours tossing and turning. I went to the bathroom and looked at what was going on down there, and my outer labia is puffy and red. I had to pee, hoping it would make it better, but no luck. The stuff came out along with some discharge. I do not recommend, my symptoms are worse than before!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I started getting vaginal burning, and I knew I had a YI. I went to the store and bought tioconazole, came home, and inserted it. It’s been about 30 mins, and my vagina is burning worse than before the medication. The burning is uncomfortable but not intolerable. Hopefully, when I wake up, I feel a lot better."

"I just got the generic brand of the Monistat 1, it was like $20. This is a very strong medication, although it said one day, the instruction pamphlet said that complete relief will come in 7 days for most women. I applied the topical cream 3 times a day. The cream did burn a little after immediate application but settled down. Day 1 incredibly itchy, ice pack on lady bits, intense burn about 20 minutes after putting the oval capsule in, there was quite a bit of discharge from it. Day 2 a little bit better, not much. Day 3 itching is way less, small discharge. Day 4 and 5 not much change. Day 6 almost nothing, just super dry. Day 7 completely done, no itch, no burn, still a little dry down there but overall a success. Hang in there!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I get yeast infections very often and can’t spend 17 dollars every time, so I got the knockoff tioconazole. I inserted it and didn't experience any burning or itching, but now I woke up around 5:30, and I can feel my vag is swollen. I know the product works, though, and I’d rather deal with this for a day than have a week of infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Used on day 2 of noticing symptoms. Minor ones at that. Only felt intensified burning and itching for maybe an hour after insertion, but definitely tolerable. Had sweet, sweet relief after that passed. Didn’t really feel like I was leaking that much either. Definitely recommend."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first time I used this product, I was completely fine. This second time, I feel like I have put hot sauce in my parts. Inserted it around 10 pm and fell asleep. By 2 am, I’m in tears. My parts are swollen, red, and burning like I have never seen before. And you can skip putting ice as it did NOTHING for me. The only thing that gave me relief was a warm shower for 30 minutes, just sitting at the bottom with a warm wash rag on my parts. After that, I kept my movement as minimal as possible, and I’m currently laying in bed at 3 am waiting it out, praying I don’t need a trip to the ER."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This over-the-counter tioconazole drug is horrible. I applied it at night, and as soon as I jumped into bed, I felt so much heat and was asking my friends about their experience, and they told me I shouldn’t have used this product. I stuck it out till the morning and found that it burnt my vagina and left me completely torn up and swollen. So I woke up and sat in the bathtub trying to get all the medication out while thinking about going to the hospital because it looked like fire was in my vagina. Meanwhile, the yeast infection continued to worsen. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WHATSOEVER. Just having the infection is better than using this product. I recommend going to the doctor or hospital if you got the same effect that I got from this over-the-counter product."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have been having some itching for a couple of days, noticed the normal yeast discharge. Went to get the Monistat 1 as I normally do. I like the one and done. I’m a busy girl. They didn’t have it. I wanted to take something ASAP. Got this instead, it was cheaper. Got home and took it. Today I just worked from bed, as I used it in the morning. It’s now 5 hours in, and I have none of these crazy burning, extra itchiness, or swelling symptoms. I would recommend it. I’m already feeling better and not itchy."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I did not experience any burning or itching while using this. If you have any burning or itching, you might have BV or an untreated STI, or even a very severe case of yeast infection. Make sure you have a yeast infection before using this product, or you will have those adverse reactions."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is the second time I've used this drug for a vaginal yeast infection. The first time I had intense burning and itching following insertion, but it only lasted about 20 minutes. This time, though... it's been an hour and a half... I'm writhing in pain. The burning and itching are unbearable. I typically handle pain well, but this is just outrageous. The next yeast infection will be treated with the antifungal pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this cream today, 2 days after noticing symptoms, and I also experienced the burning and itching. It’s still itching, and it’s bearable, but no more burn, really. I’m hoping tomorrow it gets even better and I can walk!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Felt cool going in. Seemed promising. Woke up to the itching and burning, but really, I feel this with any product. I would rather put up with it for one day, not 3 or 7 days. In the past, the other products also burned...the whole time! So, sitting in a bath with mild soap, washing it off the outside and more shallow inside part, then put on coconut oil or olive oil. This helped me. Putting on the coconut oil during the day helps too...and coconut oil actually is mildly antifungal!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you are in the early stages of your yeast infection, then Tioconazole is a good choice. If you are in the later stages, you do not want to use this product. It will cause further itching and burning. In turn, your vagina will be raw."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I must agree with one person that said it burns and itches like crazy, but it will be worth it. I also took this because antibiotics gave me a yeast infection. I inserted it the night before and woke feeling worse, with itch, burning, and swelling. I took a shower, and I also rinsed down there with cool water, and after an hour or two, the swelling went down and the itch went away. Discharge is gone, only a slight burn, which is fine. Trust me, I felt like the rest of them, I almost regretted using it. But now I'm glad I did."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Worst experience. I was so upset after using this. Upset at my doctor for recommending it and upset I actually tried it when I know I don't like any kind of vaginal cream or gel. The medication is worse than the infection. After using this, my vagina was burning, swollen, and it hurt to even wipe it when I pee. I wish I had just asked my doctor for the Diflucan pill. I will never use this again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used this product multiple times over the past years because I suffer from regular recurring yeast infections. By recurring, I mean that I have one every single month. In the past, I have not had any symptoms from using this product, and I actually liked it better than Monistat and Terconazole, which I was getting via prescription. This is the first time that this product has given me severe burning sensations. I applied it intravaginally and then put the excess on the vulva. It has been about two hours, and I am still experiencing burning, enough that it will be hard to fall asleep. This is the first time that I bought the Amazon brand. Previously, I was buying the Target brand and did not have any issues. Perhaps it is a specific brand that people may be having trouble with. On Amazon, it was half the price, so I stocked up. My yeast infection was pretty bad by the time I used the medication. I had also taken fluconazole three days prior with no relief, so then opted for this."
