For Underactive Thyroid "I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have been taking prescription desiccated thyroid for the last 10 years. The tablets made me feel alert and energetic without side effects, and I liked the sweet, smooth, and nutty taste. In October 2019, I went to refill my prescription and noticed that the desiccated thyroid tablets were lighter in color and emitted an odor and taste that I do not agree with. Some describe it as 'cat urine,' and I do not disagree. After taking one 60 MG tablet, I experienced a headache. What are these new tablets? RECALL? CLASS ACTION?"

Thyroid desiccated for Underactive Thyroid "Unbeknownst to me, NP Thyroid is made 'naturally' from a pig's thyroid. I am highly allergic to pork and was taking this product for 10 months and could not figure out why the severe sweating, headaches, rapid heart rate 156 sent me twice to the ER. They thought I was having a heart attack. Stay clear away from this product. My naturopathic doctor put me on this medication, even after she knew I am highly allergic to pork. They did not do the research on this for sure."

For Hashimoto's disease "Has something changed with Armour Thyroid? I’ve been great till this last refill! Headaches, weight gain, feeling yucky! What’s up with the Armour? The pill is a different size and no longer has that distinctive smell it had. Has it changed? It’s not good!"

For Hashimoto's disease "Started Naturethroid after seven years on Levoxyl and Cytomel, with unrelenting fatigue, migraines, constipation, and feeling cold all the time. Initially felt great on the Naturethroid. But after two weeks, started to have headaches again. Then developed diarrhea that lasted for two weeks. It was a nightmare. Went off of it and went back to the synthetics. So disappointed that it caused this reaction. These natural meds are not necessarily the perfect solution that they are portrayed to be, even if they do work for some."
