"I’ve had a yeast infection for almost 3 months none of the doctors I saw prescribed me anything that worked or even cared if it didn’t work for me. I’m so tired and annoyed of this. Not sure if terconazole cream is working for me, I’m on day 4 and there’s still some redness. HELP :("

"I usually only get YI when I'm on antibiotics. Never fails. Well one day I woke up and had a strange, odourless discharge but it was in excessive amounts. Ignored it for about 2-3 days and then the itching set it. And burning. Which I've never had accompanied by a YI. went to the DR. Prescribed Fluconazole , 150 mg and then a 2nd dose in a week and this cream. Inserting wasn't as bad as I anticipated actually , and I can't even use tampons. Instantly the itching inside slowly subsided and was still itchy on the outside but it's been 35 mins on the dot and now I feel totally relaxed with only an occasional twinge down there that is easily ignored. . I'm excited to get some sleep and beyond happy to feel some relief"

"I have been on the 7 day for 6 days. There’s less itching but a couple nights I’d wake up with burning and discomfort. I had to put an ice pack on it to numb the pain. It was agonizing. I went to ask the doctor if it was still safe to use and they said that it should stop by day 3 or 4. I’ve had bleeding that isn’t going away even though the doctor said it would by now. The swelling went down but I feel like I’m on my period with all this bleeding (also I’m on birth control so I know I’m not on my period yet). For my first yeast infection, this was a waste of money and time."

"I got a yeast infection after having sex. The Dr. Prescribed me Terconazole 0.4% (7 day treastment) at first it felt great! It's been 6 days that I finished the treatment but sadly I still feel the burning and irritation feeling. Maybe I need a higher dose or try out the oral pills."

"I’ve been dealing with a yeast infection since January (front and back). It’s now August. I’ve tried everything with really poor results. Monistat 1? Monistat 3?. Monistat 7? Worked but either had a reaction or it’d come right back. Couldn’t finish due to reaction on my skin. After trying clotramizol vaginal (Which did nothing but make my parts very bad) and having a really bad reaction, and diflucan weirdly making my lip blister I had given up all hope. He said let’s try terconazole. I’m so glad I did. It’s so gentle on my skin. It’s clearing the yeast slowly. Slower than anything mentioned above - but - it’s actually working. I’m on night 7. My doctor wants me to do another 7. I believe it’s slower for me because the infection was just so bad, and lengthy. Rating an 8 because it’s not all the way gone. Yet."

"Took this 3-day for small YI. 1st day was awful, slight itching and bad smell by end of day. I just thought it was terrible and from hot weather, but on saw it was a side effect. 2nd day, no bad smell, but severe itching. Did not do 3rd day, but still itched terribly all day, like "on fire" itchy. Could not pay me to go through this again, I've been completely distracted and short-temper from pain. I'm in more pain now than before I took it."

"So, I was having symptoms of BV so I went to the doctor and found out it was a yeast infection, after using the cream for just 3 days (it was a 7 day dosage) I had a major reaction, bad vaginal pains I could barely sleep. I went back to the doctor who now says it was not a reaction but possibly herpes. I had no pain no issues or anything before this cream, now possibly herpes. I am waiting on my results and praying it was in fact a reaction to this horrible cream"

"If I could give this a 0 I would because it made my first ever YI worse. It was VERY mild and intermittent, only itching if something touched with that area. My Dr. confirmed a mild YI and prescribed a 3 day dose. Night 1 thru the next day were great and I thought it had already solved the problem. Night 2 in bed it started to burn slightly which it hadn't done before, was gone by the next morning so I figured it was just aggressively working. My third treatment burned like the night before but continued to itch through the next day, all the way into the following morning when it just kept a burning sensation. I finally took the advice to put a drop of Tea Tree Essential Oil on a liner and within minutes, the burning was gone. Waste of $20"

"I was prescribed the 7 day dosage for my yeast infection & it was going great! Then on like the 4th day I had the WORST cramps. My period cramps aren’t even this bad. It came to the point where I’d constantly wake up in the middle of the night because of the pain. It seems to be helping with my yeast infection but these cramps are not worth it."

Terazol 7 (terconazole) "I have been getting recurrent YI for 4 years now. Usually I can take a diflucan and it’s gone within days. Now I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with my second YI since I've been pregnant. The first time I had monistat and it burned so bad I washed it right out and let nature take its course. This time my doctor prescribed Terazol 7 cream & it is the BEST. No burning, itching or discomfort upon insertion !!!!"

"This ointment was prescribed to me for vaginal itching. I put a small amount on the spot and wow the burning pain it caused! I put it on last night around 8:30pm and it's STILL burning right now, at 2:15pm the next afternoon. HORRIBLE. Will never use this again! I barely slept last night from the pain. Washed the area with soap, water, body wash, etc., and nothing is taking the burning sensation away."

"Came down with my first YI at 26 weeks pregnant. Doctor prescribed me terconazole 0.4% cream for 7 days. Just took 2nd treatment and so far so good. Didn't have itching or burning before the cream so can't speak to it alleviating that, but it does seem to be flushing out the infection. I did get nauseous for a few hours after I used for the first night, but it's gone away now."

"The doctor gave me terconazole 0.8%for BV. I didn't feel comfortable taking it, but he swore it was safe to take. I have had so much swelling and excruciating cramp like pains for 6 days now. I've been bed ridden for 3 of those days. Nurse said it was a side effect of the med. I knew I shouldv'e followed my first mind. The nurse told me not to take anymore, I'm like of course not, didn't need you to tell me that. Now this pain has jumped from my left side to my right side. I forgot to add, I'm 9weeks with child. Although the med says not recommended use for expectant mothers before 3months, but goodness, this pain is like no other!!! Mother Earth has the best healing. I will seek this route and keep you posted."

"My symptoms were an annoying itch that came and went but was for the most part bearable when I took things like azo (over the counter) and Advil. The first night I took this I woke up with a worse itch that I sat up crying for hours trying everything to stop it. I flushed out the medicine and later felt relief. Won’t be finishing the 3 day treatment and asking my dr for diflucan pill which helps. Second time I’ve had a bad reaction to creams that require insertion. Never again"

"The only thing this did for me was make a very mild yeast infection worse. Prior to use I had only slight, brief itching when something came in contact with that area. When I used the cream, the itching became constant and unbearable with a slight burn. After I finished the 3 day treatment, the mild itching that I had before was still there. I used a home remedy of tea tree oil for a few days to calm my symptoms and it seemed to clear up the problem. A year later, I got a much worse YI (thanks to a colon flush for a colonoscopy) with constant itching, burning and discharge. It was unbearable. I was prescribed a single pill of Difilcan, and a topical cream to apply 2x a day. It took about 24 hours to start seeing symptoms fade, but after only 2 days, the discharge is gone and itching only at night. I know which prescription I’ll ask for if I get another YI."

"Was prescribed the seven day cream after diflucan was ineffective. After about the third day, I noticed my discharge returning to normal, but my vulva began feeling extremely irritated and sensitive to touch (I did not experience this prior to using the cream). Thought maybe the yeast or some other pathogen was still present so I rang to the gyn. Surprisingly, my swab came back negative for all species of candida, BV etc. Turns out that though the terconazole completely wiped out the yeast, it gave me dermatitis on my vulva! Definitely be mindful of this if you are super sensitive down there."

"I took diflucan first, per call to Dr. Then I went for an exam. The dr. said that diflucan only helps if the yeast is in the gut. He prescribed Terizol 3-day. After using the medication I still feel uncomfortable and not itchy. What is going on?"

"I was diagnosed with a YI 3 weeks ago. They gave me a pill to take. I took it! It was gone. Then, last week, it returned. I went to my doc, he told me I couldn’t take the pill again because I built a tolerance to the pill, so he prescribed me terconazole. The first night, I inserted while laying on my back on my cold, tiled bathroom floor. Seconds later, I felt a difference with itching, it was worse than a regular YI. Day two was about the same itching and burning, but I could sleep. DAY THREE. I’m on the same cold, bathroom floor, anticipating the end of the horrid infection. I inserted. The last batch, I’m feeling hopeful. Positive almost, that this is the light at the end of a dark DARK tunnel, BUT THEN, seconds later, it starts THE WORSE PAIN IN MY LIFE a suddenly the burning and itching was way worse than ever before. There were squirrels in my pants. Moral of the story: never again."

"Well I was given terazol 0.4% . Took before bed (around 9pm) and woke up with PAIN at 4am. My poor Lady Parts burned so bad . Took a shower - tried to push it all out. Waited on the couch with an ice pack between my legs till dr. Office opened at 9am .Dr. told me because I already took Diflucan that I didn’t need to continue with Terazol for the next 6 days - I might have been having an allergic reaction. Let me tell you, I am usually really good with dealing with pain ...but there was NO WAY I could have done the entire 7 day treatment."

"I was prescribed this cream as an insert to use for 3 days. It is very, very messy. The second I put it in, it would start to fall out. They only give you one applicator which you have to keep cleaning, kind of annoying. I didn’t really have any side effects when I was using this, not any that I even noticed anyways. Don’t let scary reviews give you doubt, I’m sure this helps some people! I thought this was the fix to my issue, but unfortunately not. As soon as my dosage was over, the pain started up again... Now I am on tablet form of Ketoconazole. Maybe this will knock out whatever is ripping apart my insides :("

"This is my first YI (20 years old) and I was prescribed the three day terconazole. It works well, yesterday was my last day (I still have some left I’m going to use tonight) . I feel as though it is 100% cured. I would recommend it ."

"After night 1 of terconazole, I made a mess on myself during the following day. I inserted the cream right before I went to bed. I slept through the entire night; never got up for anything. The following morning was a disaster. I took a shower and got ready for work. All the medication was oozing out of me for the first several hours of day. I had meetings and were running errands. By the time I came home that evening, I got a rash down below and towards my butt area from sitting in bad cream all day. Because of what happened, I decided to take the medication a little earlier in the evening; not directly before I laid down. This was to allow some of the medicine to ooze our while I’m at home. Don’t think that was such a good idea. Because I’m now going to bed and it looked like all the cream already oozed out."

Terazol 7 (terconazole) "Had a bad reaction to monistat so I went to see my obgyn he gave me this medication and so far I'm worse then it was before I started it. I'm swollen, red, itchy and feel I'm on fire all the time. I can't walk or sit. After using this medication I wake up several times thru the night in pain and severe itching. I am not having any luck using it. I'm on night 3 of 7 but so far it's just getting worse. I should have just went to the hospital and got the IV medication from them."

"My gyn gave me the 7 day Terconazole 0.4% it seems to work fine and then I had intercourse with my boyfriend 3 days after I finish using and then 2 days later I started to feel sore and a slight itch then the following day I realize that the yeast infection is back. My Dr had also given me fluconazole 150mg tab in case it came back so I'm gonna try that because it has work for me before."
